Great game.
I found this game harder to play on the steam deck compared to when I play on a larger screen.
Still an amazing game.
This can be hit and miss for be due to how far away I am from other parts of the world due to my ping.
Runs great out of the box.

I have not played multiplayer as it seems nobody else plays this game in my region when I am on.
Awesome game with a lot of people still playing online in 2024.

I tried both Native and Proton, Native has artificating which Proton does not.

Runs great, also played some games using plutonium under Lutris which also ran great.
Great game
There are both normal and modded games for multiplayer and zombies.
Still can find a game on both zombies and multiplayer in 2024.
Great drifting game, worked out of the box with no wait for online multiplayer games.

The initial video fell out of sync
Flatpak steam allowed me to see the cut scenes by default on 8.0-5, when on native steams 8.0-5, experimental or 9 beta they would not show but on GE-Proton9-4 the cut scenes were visable. Both have to install the windows components: d3dx9, d3dcompiler_42, d3dcompiler_43, d3dcompiler_46 and d3dcompiler_n47 using protontricks to see the menu. After this the game would crash when I went to start a new game which was fixed by adding the launch option WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=2:0,1 alongside gamemoderun.
WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=2:0,1 gamemoderun DXVK_FRAME_RATE=120 %command%
This game has a few issues on Windows which show up in Proton. I have decided to use the launch option "WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=2:0,1 gamemoderun DXVK_FRAME_RATE=120 %command%" to avoid the known issues and have avoided them. I had read about a public beta being avaliable in steam but when I tested it this still had the menu issue so I returned to stable.

Gray Zone Warfare does take 7 minutes to load on Proton9.0-1 or GE-Proton9-5 and without launch options. On GE-Proton9-5 I only occasionally experience minor artifacting when travelling in the helicopter compared using 9.0-1.
gamemoderun %command% -dx12 --launcher-skip --intro-skip --skipStartScreen

Currently in early access.
Controls are very sensitive
FPS is about 25 but falls to 13 depending on how may NPCs are around.
I believe this would be a perfect game on the go once it is out of early access.

Game looks and plays great, old school round by round zombie shooter. I was not expecting zombie bats at all, great game so far.
I had set fullscreen which was not full screen until I changed it to my screens resolution
This runs great on the steam deck, I started off on a full charge and just over an hour I had 63% left.

Seems like it was designed with the steam deck in mind
This game runs great out of the box. I did change the graphics to medium and had to correct the resolution to 1280x80. On medium I get a consistent 30fps (hovering around 40) whereas low gets 40 (hovering around 50).
gamemoderun %command%
On windows with my dual screen set up it will drop into windowed mode during cut screens and then be full screen with the game only taking up 1/4 of my 4k screen. This is not an issue in Fedora.

One of my go to Steam Deck games
It is very fun with gyro
Amazing visuals and audio, it has been one of my favourite games to play over the last few years on both desktop and my steam deck.
On Steam Deck I use the medium graphics preset with FSR 2 on ultra performance. Great game with amazing audio.
Using GE9.5, Experimental or 9.0 I would have to switch to desktop mode otherwise one would get stuck on building shaders. Even then sometimes the launcher would not load as a full screen. I do not have to switch to desktop mode and have no other issues using 8.0-5. In game I am running it windowed for gamescope, also on medium settings using balanced on XESS or FSR2.0 gives me a stable 30fps where it is decent to look at without too much artifacting from the upscaling. FSR has a more stable 30 but XESS looks a bit better in my opinion.
Runs great on the steam deck.
Took this on a flight and it runs at 15fps with a TDP limit of 3 watts which got me through a full six hour flight.
