Used to require a mod due to font rendering issues. Patch 1.0.1 fixed this and the game is now perfectly playable.
No issues running this game on Linux using default Proton.
I think the game is playable, as long as you apply Snicker's proton font fix from the workshop.

Hopefully Proton can have a more permanent fix for the missing text issue.

Fonts dont render
Game runs perfectly out of the box but some fonts will not render, making the game unplayable. I've added a mod to the workshop which fixes this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3049542533
Read the description for install instructions, and confirm that the mod is still working and available before buying this game in the future.

Difficult to read font - May not be an issue if your monitor is 1080p
Battles look great on ulta without any lag.
Game starts, but most of the fonts are not being rendered, making the game nearly impossible to play.

The fonts affected contain most of the relevant information, only headlines are visible. At the current state, it is not really playable.
Great graphics, smooth game play- but serious font rendering glitch
Most of the info text isn't rendered because of some font rendering glitch. Since so much text is missing, the game is virtually unplayable still.
