Switched to Direct3D 11 and anti-cheat seemed to like it ¯\(ツ)/¯
Anti-cheat doesn't like Linux anymore?
I can start the game, login and create/load a character, but once I get in the game proper it kicks me out after few seconds with "This game will close in 10 seconds" message. I guess something changed about their anti-cheat, because about a year ago I was able to run fine.
I've tried with proton 9.0-4, proton 8.0-5, experimental & latest GE (9.25).
have to set some setting to Low when in lobby town area only get around 24-30 fps
Need go in options in game change the keyboard layout to gamepad
Seems to run comparable to Windows so far. Glad finally the anticheat software doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.
I encountered some stutters during loading sequences and when a mission ended but I think that's not unusual on Windows as well.
Didn't experience any issues but I only tested one mission - no raids or anything.
Ran as well as others have said, just fine, occasional slowdown expected even on windows, no actual tinkering required
general comfort changes; att & smash on triggers, hotbar on radial left touchpad, mouse right touchpad with left click for menuing
On shutdown, it will force the keyboard open and closed over and over again, possibly due to their popup review system
Did not join a mission with others, but as this is an mmo i figure just connecting is enough
Vindictus's anticheat did not immediately boot me like it did others; maybe due to steam deck / proton experimental updates, or it was a ban that's just waiting. Plays well enough with a short skill list, but I don't play that seriously to complain.
Anticheat is still closes the game after loading a character.

Nexon's anticheat still just doesn't seem to work on Linux. Game runs fine on 64bit DX9 but crashes after a moderately long black screen when attempting to switch to DX11. Capped at 60fps.
Anti-cheat software is the main issue the game can run on linux just not very well
FPS was very inconsistent, regularly going from 60fps to less than 10fps
Basically game would load only through the new 64Bit client, was able to get into the game and it would give an error saying: the game will close in 10 seconds. Usually get about 2 mins play time.
I think Nexon's anti-cheat software is called BlackCipher
Framerate was very bouncy and long load times.
Once running game closes with in seconds of loading in with "This game will close in 10 seconds." This message usually indicates that the anti--cheat has detected something. Crashes while loading in dx11 mode.
Appears to trigger anticheat after loading in to a character.
Uses Nexon Game Security to the best of my knowledge.
Fails to start
Fails to start game after launcher. It tells me to disable some firewall settings, antivirus. I only got this error message ONCE and therefore does not 100% recall what it said.
I'm assuming it's because of some anti-cheat software
The Game loads the Nexon Launcher but, then it never loads, no errors, no nothing. I think the anti-cheat system used by Nexon is causing the problem.

Starts the Steam Connector Launcher, but errors out with INVALID_COUNTRY_CODE and quits.
The launcher started, and eventually went away and the game never started. Had to kill the process.
Nexon-Connector starts but connection fails.. not able to start the game.
Starts connector from Nexon to Steam.. fails by Security reset.. seems to be networking problems.

Then it terminates..
