Constant flickering on Proton 9+. Had to downgrade proton to get it running but ran perfectly after.
Runs great

works flawlessly
haven't encountered any issues at all so far, and it really doesn't seem like I will

Very seamless experience. Used a PowerA Xbox Controller which worked aswell.
Had two bugs where NPC actions needed to continue the game did not happend. Going to the main menu and reloading the last save did resolve those issues.
Worked great, can recommend!

Flickering textures
Used CryoUtilities default settings + 4gb vram set in bios Settings - low+most effects on, 60 fps, vsync on.
11 hours in:
GE9-16 - a few flickering textures here and there, no audio glitches, no crashes
GE9-20 - lots of graphics glitches and crackling audio
Ergo = use the 9-16 version
Just works, nothing else to say for this one.
Installed it, played it, runs perfectly fine. No notes.

Except graphics issue related to hair or fur the game runs well. Still have some flackyness in the textures
Hairs looked quite bad also some textures are a bit buggy but I still enjoyed my playtime

Works great with default everything
Keyboard/mouse was not super responsive, like double-jump would sometimes miss the second jump. Switching to using a controller was my solution and it was a good move. Once I did that I had no issues at all.

Proton 7
Limit to 30 FPS
Would freeze when getting to Chapter 12 in the story
Kept crashing at the beginning cutscene of Chapter 12 until I switched to Proton 7 and set an FPS limit to 30. Now it at least runs and is playable.

Raise de Vram for better cutscenes
FPS set to 30 and TDP at 11W
Severe FPS drops during certain cutscenes
So the big issues for the cutscene frame drops comes down to the Vram 1gb limit. Change it to 4gb and never had a slowness issues during cutscenes.

All graphics set to low.
V Sync- On Frame Rate capped at 30 Display options, increased AMD to Ultra Quality

"No suitable D3D12 adapter found"
Couldn't get the game to start up at all. I tried various combinations of the launch options suggested by others, and I tried proton experimental and proton 9.0-2. Every try resulted in the "No suitable D3D12 adapter found" error. I'm guessing having a 3060 and integrated graphics in the weird "hybrid mode" setup is the problem. (Or rather, the game having stupid requirements is the problem, but the hybrid mode is probably triggering it.)

-nosplash -nolauncher PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1
Sometimes there is an issue alt+tabbing, but uncommon.
Controller must be turned on and connected prior to starting the game, or it will never see it.
Crashes seem to be resolved after switching to Proton 9.0-2

For some reason, the cutscene right before Chapter 1, where they enter the Nova Net, goes haywire with a FPS going as low as 1-2, and menu's lagging. Plow through it, it's the only instance in the game so far this happens (all other cutscenes run just fine), and it goes back to normal when gameplay starts. If not, restart the game and it'll start after the cutscene thanks to auto-save. It's not related to graphical settings.
After some testing and experimenting, these settings run just fine and looks rather nice! *Display:
- Max refresh rate: 40.00
- AMD FIDELITY FX CA SHARPENING: 50%
- Resoltion Scale: 80.00
*Graphics: Everything on low/off, bar:
- SCREEN SPACE REFLECTIONS: on
- DEPTH OF FIELD: on
With these setting, it looks and plays great and pretty smooth, with occasional dips into the 30's and on rare occasions the higher 20's. First impressions aren't good, though: the very first shot of the zoom-in on Quill's hole has a FPS in the 20's, and the aforementioned cutscene before Chapter 1 falls apart. However, this is nor representative of the rest of the game.
It plays and looks better than I had dare to hope after some experimenting.

Game is poorly optimised. Needs to run with low settings, FRS1 set to performance and FPS to 30.
Some games run well on Steam Desk. This is not one if them. You can achieve 30fps, but with a big trade-off in visual quality. It's playable, though.

Works flawlessly
Loads without issues, great performance, nothing extra to configure.
Changed VRAM in the BIOS settings from 1 to 2 gb

Models are occasionally shaky.
Game freezes during cutscenes, and can no longer progress.

Very minor artifacts seen infrequently on textures such as grass
This is a really stable experience with GE-Proton. The very occasional artifacts shown where grass doesn't render correctly really doesn't take anything away from the game. Stability is great and I got a steady framerate even with all of the detail turned up to Ultra.
The game crashes if you try to enable NVAPI. This is a well known problem, but you don't need it anyway.

Intel ARC won't start after Marvel intro (black screen then back to desktop, MESA 24.0.5)
The game still have deep issues with Intel ARC cards, if you have at least the integrated GPU you may load the game through Heroic which gives you the additional option. With AMD Vega 8 + FSR and mid-low settings you may reach a good framerate, however it is playable better in window mode due to a forced disabled v-sync in full screen mode. My average result is between 38 and 52ish fps. It would be better with a dedicated VGA.

Sometimes the mouse would have extremely high sensitivity, but it could be fixed by restart of the game. (no problems with controler)
When I was accidentaly using the amdvlk driver, the game would freeze on black screen after the intro. After switching to vulkan-radeon drivers, the game was running perfectly on almost the highest settings.

Worked flawlessly.
No problems whatsoever on Proton! It worked perfectly with no tinkering and was very fun. I was able to beat the entire game without any crashes or technical problems.

After switching away and then back to the game, the game crashes.
Disabling NVAPI is needed, otherwise the game would crash on start of play

No nie działa i tyle w temacie

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=0 DXVK_ENABLE_NVAPI=0

If you are using an Nvidia GPU be sure to disable NVAPI. Otherwise the game will crash.
Works out of the box
Game runs great out of the box

Got the game as an epic games giveaway. Installed the game with lutris. Used Proton-GE 8.23 and 8.30, Proton 8 and Proton Experimental, but none of them worked properly due to the huge framedrop in some cutscenes and at the beginning of chapter 12. At those points, the device was very unresponsive... some sort of maxed CPU consumption...
But I've got the game to run smoothly with Proton 7!. I've only noticed a few graphic glitches, like sporadic flickering shadows.
30fps and decreased CPU power consumption
Just needed to add this "-nolauncher" argument in Epic Games configurations
flickering shadows
Huge framedrops with Proton 8 and Proton Experimental
The game runs great!

I had a problem where ALT+TAB out of a window multiple times would glitch the game out and show it in a very small window. I only did this once so I don't know if it would be a consistent issue.
Dualsense would not be picked up until I had to reenable Steam Input. Now Steam says the Dualsense is only supported via USB, but I had Steam Input on by default so it should have just worked out of the box anyway.
There were 2 parts of the games where I would get constant crashes.
First set of crashes would happen on the first chapter when Star-Lord and Rocket would enter the mining ship, would crash immediately as the cutscene started. Even hitting continue from the main menu would crash the game, I fixed this by verifying the integrity of the files.
Second set of crashes would happen on Chapter 8 where you would reject the choice, as soon as you would hit reject the game just crashes. I fixed this by running the game under normal fullscreen as I had it in exclusive before.
Now these issues are apparent on both Windows and Linux, just you either have a buttery smooth time with the game or you have some crashes and glitches to sort out first. I think by running the game in under windowed or just fullscreen might fix some of these issues. Now the game ran perfectly fine after fixing the chapter 8 crash so I was able to 100% the game.

Have Dualsense on bluetooth and it is not being picked up for some reason. But another Xbox controller with 2.4 GHz dongle is being picked up.
Game tells me that my graphics drivers are old which definitely is not true, but apart from that everything is fine. Can play on medium settings just fine. Sometimes lags to load some assets, but that might be related to game being on HDD as well.

Texture issues with plants/flowers on ground, but only in one of the first cutscenes. After that, no texture issues at all.
Framerate on this PC was poor (but to be expected): between 18 and 30 fps.

It works great and runs buttery smooth with no tinkering needed at all in my system
Made my system crash when I opened the game for the first time.
