Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-22

The linux version is great, and runs out of the box, but it wasn't updated with the newest features (like ammo switching for the bow and shotgun, extra options, etc)

To switch to the Windows version you just have to change the compatibility to any Proton.

(Side note: I played on Desktop mode with keyboard and mouse)

Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 8.0-4

The game works perfectly via Proton (latest stable version). When playing the native Linux version on KDE Plasma 5.27.10, the taskbar is visible and it's annoying.

Easy setup, recommend running via Proton instead of Native

Running via Proton cleared up FPS issues. Native felt very choppy (sub 60 fps). Switching to Proton fixed that and could run 144+ Hz.

Native and Proton runs perfect, i'm just using Proton because it fixes my game Window Fullscreen to my main monitor, not sure why this happens with Native port of the games on steam but it fixes, you can't go wrong with both of them, it works perfect, from start to finish.
