Needed to change Proton versions to start the game. Otherwise works perfectly fine.

720p on Low Settings
Cap the game to 45 fps with everything set to Low/Off
Feels like a Switch port we never got. Play it on the Deck, you won't regret it.

Works great, no issues
Played through the whole game without encountering any issues whatsoever.

Perfect Out of box experience
What more I can say? I wish Tango/KRAFTON adds native Linux support to Hi-Fi Rush or sequel of this just to give some middlefinger towards Microsoft.

Completed game with flawless experience
1440p with perfect 120 hz with plenty of GPU power left. Played with wired dualsense controller. Everything was perfect.

Game runs great on Steam Deck OLED. Based on the first two levels (roughly two hours of play), medium settings at full native resolution (800p supported) will net you 60fps almost all the time. Transitioning between areas can bring the framerate down to the high fifties for a couple of seconds, but it never happens in combat. There's room to tweak the settings or cap at 50, 45 or 40 fps, but be aware that capping withing SteamOS will introduce some input lag and change the timing of the game. If you're in for high scores and precision gaming, leave it at 60. If you want to save some battery life, as the game seems a bit power hungry, cap it to your liking. It remains perfectly playable regardless. Very good PC version of the game.

Sometimes the animated cutscenes would be out of sync with the audio.
Had to switch to 30fps to stop freezing
Freezing and crashing
I had to switch to experimental to get the game to start, which then it went fine. However, when I reached Track 3, the game would freeze when a certain function would begin (like a cutscene or battle). I stopped the crashing by using custom launch options and switched to 30fps with the games options. It could be much better, but last year I was unable to launch the game even with experimental so I'm very grateful that the game can now launch.
Feels just like it's running natively!

The game runs very smooth on the deck by default. It achives 60fps most of the time. There were some fights in the late game where it dropped to 50-55 for a few seconds, depending on what was happening on the screen, but nothing major. You will get around 2-3h on battery without changing anything. This is one of those games where the deck shines. In case the graphics change in the future, here are the settings that I've used:
- Screen Mode: Windowed Fullscreen
- Screen Resolution: 1280x800
- Vertical Sync: On
- Frame Limit: 60
- Graphics Preset: Medium
- Camera Motion Blur: Medium
- Dynamic Shadows: Medium
- Static Global Illumination: On
- Static Shadow Maps: On
- Foliage Quality: High
- SSAO: Quality
- SSR: on
- Depth of Field: Medium
- Upscaling Technologies: Off
- Nvidia Reflex Low Latency: Off
- Anti-Aliasing: Temporal AA
- GPU Physics Simulation: Low
- Movie Play Mode: Quality

Awesome experience, I used remote sharing and even so was perfect.

It's perfect!
Don't worry! The studio has been saved so they will be able to make new games!
Game works perfectly

Works as expected
It's a shame what happened to the studio, amazing game that works great on linux.

Dualsense haptic vibration and adaptive triggers do not work. Proton 9, Experemental, and GE did not have any differences. Dualsense works well otherwise.
I do not have an Xbox controller to check if Xbox vibration is working.

It's really nothing to worry about, you'll barely notice it, but it is there.
I would recommend possibly setting the game to 144Hz (or whatever refresh rate your monitor supports), as that made the game feel a lot better.

Crashed once when starting. And once more in middle of playing (no progress lost, once in ~11 hours of playtime).
Would not launch with regular / default Proton

Working perfectly!
Runs perfectly out of the box.
Worksperfectly fine

Runs perfectly, zero latency
Absolutely no issues

Worked out of the box
I don't care for it, but it runs perfectly.

Runs excellent ootb

Previously I couldn't get to play it on linux due to low fps (<10) but I found a workaround with the launch option -dx11 and using upscaling
-dx11
Playing at medium with an upscaling technology such as AMD or TSR for 60fps, otherwise is below 10fps.
Added the -dx11 command to get past splash screen and switched to experiemental proton, game comes up and runs smooth 60fps on High.
-dx11

Worked OoTB

Pipewire occasionally gets weird around Wine/Proton applications. Use "systemctl --user restart pipewire.service" to fix it. Only has to be done once after you log in.
Aside from the initial audio issue which affects my system in general, this game is very playable. I used the high graphics preset and had no issues during intense stuff like BPM Rush.

Seamless experience
Work perfect out-of-the-box. Just a casual reminder to disable compositor to gain additional 10% fps.

Needed to cap fps at 60 otherwise it would change the speed of the game and lag
