I needed to disable Steam's inbuilt game recording feature in order for the game to open. For some reason the game refused to open properly if game recording was enabled.
Game would not open if steam's game recording feature was enabled.
Does anyone know why enabling game recordings would bork the game?

without tinkering, you can probably get away with running on 9.0-4, but that didnt work for me (hence my use of 7.0-6, most likely just an edge case) other than that, i have had zero problems

El Juego Corre Fino Finísimo.
Corre fino con la ultima versión de proton, no se necesitan ajustes extra ni cosas raras, ponerle proton y jugar.

Player names and other text is occasionally very small

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
A game suffers from some audio stuttering without tinkering/patching.
The intro with the game developer and publisher doesn't load properly (black screen, studdering audio, or cuts in the middle of the Pixie animation) but can be skipped to the lobby.
I recommend applying the patches. In the worst-case scenario, you can run it with a dual-booted Windows installation or play it on a game console (I have the game on the Nintendo Switch).

No issues
Works just the same as it did in Windows.

Works perfectly OOB
Game works on Linux just like on Windows. Devs support Steam Deck.
Works perfectly
Works perfectly, and supports Steam Deck to boot.
gamemoderun %command%

None
On the Proton Experimental version, the Intro animation is corrupted or something. Not a big deal for me since I can keep pressing Space or Left Click to skip it.
Works as expected
Works out of the box!

Have to force the last Proton version (Experimental not needed, just select the last stable version), otherwise Steam greys the "start" button out and says it is compatible with Windows and macOS only.
Works just aswell as it did on windows.
Had no issues connecting or playing online.
Kinda just works out of box now.
Works perfectly
Game runs out of the box, with better performance than windows
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Doesn't open without env PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
slight ocassional framerate dropping
Dropping frames when enemies are around isn't fun but it deosn't always happen
using this game on linux without tinkering is impossible. after setting launch options, the game didn't run the first time, next day i try again and it works without problems. (before setting launch options the game would crash when i pressed 'leave' after i died)

Significant frame rate drops in specific locations
Other than frame rate drops, the game works perfectly fine.
the constant crashing when leaving would probably deter anyone else other than me (who is stubborn)
occasional frame drops
every time i die and click the leave button
the game runs fine, but then i die, click leave to go to the main menu. And that's when the game crashes, every single time
preveioulsy mentioned every time i die and click leave the game crashes
Would like for it to be natively supported on linux instead of having to use proton
Works just like on windows
works perfectly!
worked perfectly.
honestly not much to say, really happy with how flawlessly this game runs :)
Al momento de cerrar el juego se cuelga y solo se puede cerrar forzándolo.
Runs perfectly
Game started and ran excellent on deck with no changes to any settings. Frame rate was solid 60fps and I experienced zero dips or stutters.
Works perfectly out of the box.
Exiting the game through the in-game menu works now!!! This seems to be a very recent fix, and it was a pretty minor inconvenience on PC, but you do not need to alt+tab to close the game anymore!!!
Works perfectly, it is Deck verified, afterall.
Closing the game in-game doesn't work properly. It'll just freeze. I'm too impatient to figure out if it automatically closes LOL.
Works great, but for your own good alt-tab to Steam when it's time to close the game.
The game cannot be closed from within the game client itself or it'll freeze and require to you kill the process. With some DEs, it can soft lock you out of your system until you fall back to command line or reboot. I have at times had to blindly open system monitor and search "super" and press delete for it to close, because the frozen game window focuses over everything.
