Played the EGS version.
Had to change the executable from STASIS2.exe
to NON_EOS_VERSION_STASIS2/STASIS2.exe
. Otherwise all ingame texts were replaced by error messages. Apparently the EOS overlay causes issues on Windows too with this game, see here.

If you are attempting to run the epic game store version, you MUST enable the EOS overlay. In heroic launcher this can be done after installing the game using the drop-down options menu.
Controller input must be selected from the options menu, at least for the epic game store version. If using heroic you must also enable the epic online services overlay which can be accessed by clicking the game in heroic and then using the drop-down menu.
The game runs at Max settings 60 frames per second without issue, there is full controller support but the game can be played using just a mouse and this is the way I've enjoyed it.

It just works!
Great game, love the setting and story! Very very good game, give it a try!

Steam deck controls are quite bad, and the game doesn't feel responsive, PDA messages were hard to read and the interface felt clunky.
Scrolling in-game text with gamepad controls is basically impossible. You need to emulate mouse controls.
Not a great experience.
gamemoderun %command%
Runs perfectly, no tweaks required

Using GE, but i don't think that should matter. Runs like a beaut.
Completed a full playthrough of the game without any issues

Steam needs configuration,Launched via heroic and worked fine on desktop mode
Game runs without any issues. With Vsync enabled and Refresh Rate set to 40Hz I can get 5~ hours of battery life.
