at the first time it's in window mode
When I ran the game the first time, I had lag, the game crashed and popped up a long error, after the second run of this was not!

gamescope -w 5120 -h 1440
My resolution wasn't listed in the game settings so I had to edit the cuisine_royale.config.blk file directly
I did not run into anti-cheat kicks while playing. However, I only played the original Cuisine game mode.

Issues with configuring which monitor the game should run on
Some minor hicups here and there, happen rarely
The game itself runs fine, native. Has some hiccups here and there, but overall pretty similar experience to Windows. If you use more than one monitor, it will use all of them, for some reason. It's a bit annoying to fix, but can be done. Basically, set the game to windowed, lowest resolution available, then restart it. After that, drag the window to the monitor you want to use, set it to fullscreen and your resolution, restart it again. Should work fine. I have not messed around with making the game run borderless, as there is no menu option for it.

Switch to GE-Proton9-4.

Launch with on my other monitor, unable to selecte one.
Switch it to Proton-GE-9.4

I have played this games for last few days. And it runs so nicely. No issues so far. Without any tinkering
This game works like a charm on steamdeck.
This game works like a charm
The game can only be played using 1 monitor. Mouse cursor isn't taken properly.
Uncommon textures glitches. Nothing critical
Despite cursor glitch on multimonitor. Native version is pretty ok and you can play this game with out any performance loss (proton )

All works fine if you force "Steam Linux Runtime". Slight stuttering at the beginning of the match but it recovers
At the beginning of the match slight stuttering
- Native(I guess running against system libs) had visual glitches(ex: water not visible), was crashing after a few seconds or minutes and had issues with fullscreen.
- Proton had issues with slow load times, black screens(some versions) and anti-cheat.
- "Steam Linux Runtime" just works - I am guessing they built the native Linux game against "Steam Linux Runtime", which is the reason why it works without issues.
gamescope -w 2560 -W 2560 -h 1080 -H 1080 -f -e -- %command%
After closing the game, audio on discord goes mute for about 20 seconds. Might be due to pipewire.
Some flickering and ragdoll weirdness.
Needed to use gamescope due to mouse escaping the game window during gameplay, a issue under SwayWM / Wayland.
Crashed every 6 ~ 10 minutes during gameplay, some weird vulkan crash ( tested on Solo ).
Online worked perfectly on native. Unplayable on Proton due to EAC.
If they fix the crashes on the Native version this game will be absolutely amazing to play on Linux. Since the native version uses Vulkan my FPS and Loading times were vastly improved, by comparison, I had a staggering 80 ~ 90 FPS on Linux Native, while on windows I got 30~50 FPS and long loading times.
The native version hasn't been working since recently, found a way to run the proton version.
- Install tools "proton easyanticheat runtime"
- Open the folder with the game. Find cuisine_royale_linux_frameworks.zip there and extract to win64 file easyanticheat_x64.so
- Set compatibility mode to proton 7.0-4 The game works stably, anti-cheat does not bother. Sorry for my English.
run fine
Linux users can enjoy this game if they lower their expectations. Occassional crashes may occur but the overall game works well natively..

Whenever I first started the game in XFCE4 environment as well as others it fullscreened to all of my monitors. Just something to point out. This can be fixed within game settings.
Using Steam Linux Runtime (Native) yields more results vs proton which kicks the user sometime after starting the game. While, native is more playable, there are occasionally crashes as listed by others.
When the game is running good, online multiplayer is fairly playable! It's the closest thing to pubG in linux.
Stability should be improved for native linux version, but other than that the game is quite fun! Another multiplayer shooter in linux!
Native no longer launches at all on kernel 5.18+. Proton EAC kicks you.
Works, but with its quirks
In its current state, you can usually expect a crash upon joining a game.
Proton version EAC kicks you every time. Native version crashes as soon as you find a game but it reconnects quickly and works fine once you relaunch. My sound wasn't working at first, until I figured out some stuff with Pipewire and rebooted, now it works fine and performs wonderfully.
Native version crashes and proton version got me kicked by EAC
Multiplayer works perfectly on linux after the developer enabled linux EAC.
The water textures were kinda see through on high quality
Ran into the outer circle and my entire screen went blue only happend one time
The game sometimes reports missing textures in the top left but i didn't notice them actually missing.
gamescope -e -n -H 1080 -f -- %command%
On kde-wayland mouse goes to secondary monitor. Using gamescope fixed it.
Works normally.
I'm not sure about the Win version, but the native linux version (since its native vulkan) gives me about 50 more fps on the same graphics
On XOrg game fullscreens to every monitor but you can just shrink it.
Flawless. So, so, so much better than windows. Online is excellent!
Proton support not enabled in EAC
Until EAC Linux compatibility is enabled, this game will remain unplayable.
It worked perfectley for a few minutes until the EAC kicked in. Easy fix for the devs.

Can't multiplayer
Kicked in multiplayer games because of anti cheat
Kicked in multiplayer games because of anti cheat
It starts but easy anti-cheat kicks you after a match stars.Sad
kicked from the server
EAC will kick you after a few seconds of playing online multiplayer
EAC will kick me after a few minutes after playing multiplayer

Training works, but actual game does not start because of anticheat
Easy anticheat is problem, but that is maybe solvable
Runs good accept for no Multiplayer
EAC code 3 - Easy Anticheat Crashes
EAC starts but when trying to play online it crashes
EAC Init fail 3 Proton log: [Err!] [Network Error] CDN connection failed!
The game work in practice mod. (only EAC is blocking multiplayer)

Fatal Error: EAC init failing
Game menus work fine until a match being loaded. Then game crashes to desktop, giving an EAC error. This is unplayable yet.
Не дает подключится к серверам, так как не может запустить античит

The main menu works and displays correctly, but Easy-Anticheat kicks me out when I try to play the game.
The game doesn't even start with Proton 5.13-1. I tried with 5.0-10 and it started, but took reeealy long time (about 3-4 mins).
EAC is holding LINUX gaming back again... :(

crashes with UAC, UEX whatever its called
I really want to be able to play this game on my ubuntu 20.04 computer.

Crash
