Slowdowns occurr when I set the resolution scale to above 65, but the frame drops aren't all that bad regardless.
Keep in mind that if you're on a potato, the next update for the game will NOT support older computers.
works great
worked
when on linux just wait for the servers to load it take a little bit longer then windows
Just booted it up and started playing ran great and didn't have any anticheat problems

The frames would be ok but there is extreme lag and framedrops.
Extreme frame drops and 90FPS feels more like 30 becose of stuttering.

Not really sure that tinkering with launch options required, since I used those that others said worked well with similar hardware to my own straight away. Proton was 9.0-2.

Works well, mic doesn't work for me.
No issues at all.

Slight flicker from what I had seen, but otherwise, fantastic graphics wise.
This is a well made Unreal Engine shooter for Windows, though us Linux players can do this too!

I'm not sure if it will be the same on a weaker PC configuration, at the moment the game is more stable on Windows. Ut you can play
There is a decrease in FPS with the inclusion of Vsync or limiting the frame rate to any value, without these functions the game works fine. Small friezes are also observed. When playing online, the FPS value is noticeably lower
If you lower the graphics settings, many problems can be avoided and enjoy the game
Works smoothly
Sometimes, when it was fullscreened on a menu and I switched back and forth between workspaces, it would stop accepting input.
Really only one minor issue, which only occurs under specific conditions and only occasionally.
game in menu has 15 FPS (while loading 60, and after game is loaded 1FPS) It uses only 1 thread on 100% and not using any other threads
-Low performace -Only using 1 thread
I can really feel like an eighteen-year-old getting his head blown off by a farmer.
When Medium settings and below are on, lighting did not work.
Occasional mouse skipping, default sensitivity is RIDICULOUSLY high. Remember to change it.
Scoping in with a magnified scope HALVES the framerate.
One server was very laggy, but every other server was fine, so I think it was just the server's fault.
Works fine out of the box.
Rare Freezing or Crashing.
With lots of players, some minor stutter was present.
runs perfectly out-of-the-box, even on "epic" graphics settings

Works out of the box but if they dont enable EAC proton support when they add EAC it might bork the game
Works perfectly fine out of the box, the same performance as on Windows
If you want a nice FPS graph, use Mangohud, install it with your package manager and then set the launch options for the game to: mangohud %command%
If you encounter performance issues by any chance, here are some tips (these apply for gaming on Linux in general, from my experience):
- Try using
Proton-TKG
- If you have an AMD card, I recommend installing mesa from git (
mesa-git
in AUR) and usingRADV_PERFTEST=aco
environment variable in the launching options. - Check if the game is using your integrated GPU instead of your main one, if that is the case you can use
DRI_PRIME
environment variable to set it to use your main GPU. - Try using the
-USEALLAVAILABLECORES
flag
gamemoderun %command%
Apparently they're working on a Native Linux version and looking into added EAC. Not sure in what order, but adding EAC may end up temporarily borking the game in the future.
Seemed to struggle with Proton GE. Once I forced it to Experimental, it worked great. Probably because of the DX version.
I understand that its in a playtest phase but it does require some optimization by the developers.
You will hear some crackling occasionally.
I would turn the graphics down to low and lock your FPS at 30 frames.
Overall a good experience
It runs on Deck, not ideal without additional peripherals IMO
I set reload (R Key) to B, at a temporary minimum, to test the game
There's some performance degrations that will want you to run OP:HD on medium graphical settings. Fine turning via Steam Deck performance settings didn't make too much difference but I didn't experiment much. FSR seemed to make things a bit more smooth.
OP:HD runs on the Steam Deck better than I originally expected. Trying to play with the Deck by itself might be difficult. However, if you plan to use a portable monitor w/ mouse and keyboard connected to a Dock with your Deck, your experience will be more than manageable with the way things currently are.

Smooth gameplay with only a few glitches here and there.
With the official singleplayer release, things seem to have gotten worse even though it doesn't appear much has changed.
Intro shows the old TV no signal colorful background, as well as when at the main screen in the background.
Had to switch to Windowed Fullscreen in order to prevent severe graphical stuttering.
Had to switch graphical settings in order to play without gameplay-crippling stuttering.
Cannot play using the runtime steam client whatsoever. Immediate crashing under proton experimental, 7.0-1 and 6.8-3. MUST use native client with at least 6.8-3.
Windowed Fullscreen 1920X1080
Gamma 2.0
FOV 90
View Distance - Far
Anti-Aliasing - Low
All else under scalibility set to High

Works fairly well
Seemed to be some graphic lag until everything rendered
Minus the graphical lag stuttering issue which resolves itself over time, everything works fairly well on both the main game and the multiplayer test environment. This was done on Proton Experimental, haven't tried any other versions as of yet.
it literally ran flawlessly under proton, just as it ran when i had windows
problems with gamma, i had to set gamma to almost max
runs good, sadly just a few players
Works flawlessly with Proton Expirimental
Probably just game
