Prefer medium preset cause ultra seems to have some framedips

Works like a charm
The game works perfectly, it looks like a native linux version. Zero problems
gamemoderun %command%

I had a black screen issue with Proton version 8.0-4, but it was resolved by downgrading to version 7.0-6
Works fine

Switched my desktop environment from plain Openbox to KDE Plasma. With this single change, now the game works. Seems like Openbox is having issues with fullscreen lately and whatnot.
I made a report that the game did not launch this morning. That was because of openbox. I figure I would try KDE Plasma since it's what the steam deck has and now it works.

Blank black screen with cool mouse cursor.
Never reached the menu.
The game is fantastic, I've played it a ton on Linux and even recently have been playing the new randomizer nuzlocke mode with a friend.
I've been playing co-op for a long time, it's a great game for online on Linux.
Capped at 30 FPS
Works perfect out of the box.
Very minor studdering

Defaults to a locked 30 fps for some reason, but this is disabled easily enough. Hits 60 fps depending on graphics settings. Otherwise no issues.
A good experience. I had a few crashes, but that was not a big deal for me. I never lost any progress, as the game saves everything all the time, even inside battles. I would recommend it!
game works well
multiplayer worked like expected
game works very well, only problems i noticed were keyboard button prompt icons being weird (not an issue if you use controller), lag spikes when going through doors, and max fps being locked to 60fps when setting max fps to automatic or 144hz (i have a 144hz monitor)
RADV_PERFTEST=aco %command%
Temtem wont work unless IPv6 is dissabled, only if your network doesn't have IPv6 connectivity
Game fails to connect to servers
RADV_PERFTEST=aco
I'm clueless of why it fails to connect to servers :/
RADV_PERFTEST=aco
Without RADV_PERFTEST=aco as a launch command, opening the settings menu basically softlocked the game
The game eats up quite a lot of VRAM, and if you run a GTX 970, you'll have to play on low texture settings, or else the terrible memory layout of that GPU will cause some very nasty lagspikes. Quality can remain on Ultra, at least for me that yields a steady 40-70 FPS in 1080p even after long play sessions.
Runs even better one year later (v0.9.6)
At 1080p windowed I now get 140-180 FPS on Low and 40-70 FPS on Ultra settings without any tinkering or custom proton versions. Higher resolutions don't seem to work very well, but that might just be my GPU acting up (thanks, nvidia!).
Despite being marked as "unsupported" I installed the game and it ran just fine.
30fps cap
had to reconnect at first but then it was stable
Works great on deck
Initial connection failed but reconnect worked then and remained stable
The game works perfectly fine. Minor issue during startup that doesn't affect the game (just press a button).

Plays nicely apart from some UI issues with the buttons but doesn't hinder playing
UI buttons don't appear correctly, but they don't hinder playing

All versions of Proton do not work
I've tried every iteration of Proton available and even Boxtron to try to get this game working. I can get into the loading menu, however it usually crashes after that point.
I'm using ZorinOS, which is a fork of Ubunut. I have updated everything on my computer and even reinstalled the game a few times. I'm not sure what others are doing on here to get the most recent version of Proton to work, but I would like to know so I can play the game.
The game runs flawlessly, the only catch is text telling what button to press is really strange but this doesn't really matter.
Some strange UI issues on first launch but after a second launch had no issues going forward
Played for 6h with a friend on Windows, no issues. Game is fun^^
If it doesn't detect the controller just go to the game's Properties in Steam and select "Disable Steam Input"
It used to be very laggy, but with the latest release of Proton 6.21 GE-1 it runs smooth all the way in 4k
Game is mostly playable with some infrequent stuttering and display/input issues which can be mostly fixed.
My Xbox One controller would on occasion stop working in the middle of a game session, with the only way to have it function again is to restart the game.
I was able to fix the problem by disabling Steam Input in the properties of the game. From there, my controller worked completely fine.
Significant frame drops on occasion when navigating the overworld. In an inside area, there is usually minimal stuttering and the game is smooth.
Control hints would show in foreign language/keyboard. The input is completely fine, this is just visual as shown here.
