Changed keybinds to fit preference
Controls definitely need tinkering. The community layout wasn't doing it for me so I had to tinker with it from there. The game otherwise runs flawlessly, finished with me and my friend with zero issues. I have yet to try the Part 5 update as of yet.

Couldnt hit a keypad button in game for like 2 minutes before it randomly accepted the input, not sure if game issue or proton issue

-gl
Gamma slider didn't work and all areas (including those that were fully lit up) were pitch black, therefore the game was impossible to play. This can easily be fixed by adding '-gl' to the launch options, forcing the game to launch using OpenGL.
For me it runs better than on Windows (with the added '-gl' launch option)

Some windowing settings applies only after restart and only after applying it again
When you trying to play with friends, for some reasons if you being a host some people with Windows machine can't join you
Resolution and window mode have to be reconfigured if you alt+tab

Micro doent work correctly. But i don
t need it.
Runs perfectly on Arch without any issues. On Ubuntu player model can escape from player view and started walking ahead, this got fixed by just disabling "view body" in settings.
I don`t recommend to use Debian/Ubuntu to run this game, and especially games on Linux via wine/proton. Best for games is Arch for me exactly.
On proton 9.0, Experimental, my player model was sometimes visible in front of my camera. No issue with Proton 4.11-13

Certain rooms starting with Level 3 can drop the framerate from 150 to ~40. This also happens in Windows.
The initial launch takes minutes for the game to go from "Launching" to "Running." This happens on WIndows as well.

Hosting online lobbies will sometimes disconnect everyone connected seemingly at random

Own body was floating in front of me until I toggled the "Show Body" setting a few times. You need to toggle this setting on every level change in order to get rid of it. Quite annoying but bearable.
Playable

I just disable the body when I'm playing
Problem when sprinting. The body would begin to move away from the camera & would reset when crouching

had to use left trackpad for additional mouse input
in some areas of the game that requires reading small text or in a small in gsme screen like the meg security door panel screen maybe hard to tell what they are!
needs minimal controller tinkering to make it a 100% enjoyable experience!
runs reat needs slight controller tinkering, however usint the conmputer in the meg lab tunnel is impossible to use without a proper mouse and keyboard attached but beyond that runs great!
runs great but keybinds make it unenjoyable
Game runs, minor graphics bugs.
When sprinting my character model would begin to move away from the camera & would reset when crouching, annoying but playable.

Bring a friend.
No issues whatsoever. For me it runs just as well as it does on Windows.
Works perfect
Worked perfectly out of the box, no issues here

Works great! Could install it without problems, launch without problems and play the game without problems.

The audio was fine, but the performance was horiffic given my hardware.
It was like 3-5 SPF (Seconds Per Frame)
Rebound B to CTRL to crouch
I didn't mess with sensitivity settings, but you do look really fast on controller.

The proxy chat works perfectly fine
Works great. Even on low end hardware.
On lowest settings there is a problem with anti aliasing and render distance, but it can be a game problem.
Using proton-ge-custom from aur.
