Plays near-perfectly other than the tiny button icons. Performance isn't great but it's a stable 30 at the medium or high graphics preset.
30 FPS cap in display options
In-game button tooltips (e.g. "Press Y to enter car" and such) plus the accompanying text. Everything else is fine.
There's a substantial deadzone for both sticks. Add 5000 or so anti-deadzone to get rid of it.
There's an option for FSR 2 in the graphics menu but for some reason it can't be enabled
Completed without issues

Using Vulkan as API, the game ran with a lower average frame rate. Use either DirextX 11 or DirectX 12.
8x TSSAA has ghosting issues.

Works perfectly out of the box
Vehicle audio is either extremely quiet or absent, but no other sound issues

It runs the tutorial flawlessly, crashes afterwards. If it kept running it would be perfect, but it doesn't for me
I literally can't play beyond the tutorial. Crashes all the time

Good OOTB Experience
Vehicle SFX seemed quieter than when played on Windows with the same settings
Was able to use DX12 from the game's launcher. No instabilty issues noticed.

DX11 is the most stable one, DX12 has visual glitches, VK has performance issues.

Locked to 40 fps in steam overlay.
Just choosing one of the lower presets is enough for the game to run smoothly.
Works perfectly fine

Epic version of Saints Row played using Heroic Games Launcher and the newest available Wine-GE-Proton. Playing on DirectX 12 with a perfect performance. Vulkan works as well, but framedrops are noticeable when moving the camera (less than 144 fps, if not even less than 60). I did not test DirectX 11 so I'm not sure if and how it works.
I did not test multiplayer but I can see my friends on the friend list so it should work just fine I guess.

Epic version runs perfectly. Don't use Vulkan - it runs terribly. On DirectX 12 it's very smooth on med-high settings, locked to 40fps.

FPS is around 24 fps to 40 fps.

Slight frame drops during first session. Goes away on second session.
Works out of the box with DirectX 12 (recommended by the game launcher, too). Vulkan and DirectX 11 did not work for me.

All works fine no crashes or slow downs. played for 3.5 hours
Vulkan didn't work well
Dx11 i didn't try but should work
Got a smooth 60 fps and a good frametime with this verison of proton

Settings could be lowered to improve battery
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 gamemoderun %command%

No config is required for a good experience. Playing with settings could give better battery life but is not required.

Borked on all the proton versions I tried
Tried GE-Proton 7-14, Proton Experimental, Proton 7.0-6, 5.13-6.
Proton 7 gets the launcher to open, but all 3 API options crash after a while.

I get into the Launcher but cant get it to run the game, 7.0.6 makes it show the launcher
Trying GE-proton next

It plays perfectly on Linux. You just have to take into account that FSR will not work for you in the settings via the DirectX11 API, throug

The lake in the game is black with dials, as if it was broken, but maybe it's a game rather than Steam Proton.
The game runs terribly on Vulkan, I had extreme drops in FPS and DirectX 12 doesn't work at all, but what works is really beautiful, so it's DirectX11, I have absolutely no problem with the game, only FSR doesn't work there, but I don't see that as a problem, it works fine on ULTRA 60FPS
The game also has a lot of bugs in Windows, so those bugs are also in the Linux versions. Some damage progress in the missions, but you can fix that if you load the mission from the last point where you ended up in it.
This game runs perfectly through DirectX11 even on a pure proton without a launch line. So don't worry that it won't work for you.

Works amazing for me without any tinkering the game defaults to high graphics you could easily improve experience/battery but works fine without

gamemoderun %COMMAND%
You must select the Vulkan option in the launcher.

Pixel rain in some cutscenes
Due to the lack of a dedicated video card the game is very slow even with everything at minimum, however it runs as native.
The game looks like it would run smoothly if I had a dedicated graphics card.

Works amazing for me without any tinkering the game defaults to high graphics you could easily improve the experience/battery life with some tinkering around but works perfectly for without doing anything would recommend this for steam deck

GPU Crash Error

Trailing on chracter when motion blur is enabled. Disable it.
Vulkan gets half the performance. DX12 crashes. DX11 works.
If your monitor's refersh rate is higher than 60 but you don't get a steady 144 or whatever you have, enable freesync, cap the framerate using mangohud to something lower. Then, it's smooth.
