Just let the game finish the sharders and the game run smooth like it does on Windows
don't know about the other comments but for me, Proton runs perfect without any issues so far, same thing like the Max payne games, it runs great and you can alt+tab with no problem
it runs perfect on Proton but there's no players around anymore, so i had to play with training bots
windowed broken, the screen freezes after 10 minutes
Same thing with Euro Truck, Play this in Fullscreen without V-sync and DX11, because Opengl is a stutter mess, overall it's perfect out of the box, the native has a weird resolution.
knowing Ubisoft killing accounts, i'm glad this game runs perfect on Proton but no multiplayer anymore... RIP
The game runs smooth like it does on Windows, played online in a server and it worked just fine out of the box
had to install punkbuster again
Battlefield runs perfect on Proton, in case you have Punkbuster kicking you all the time make sure to visit "evenbalance" and download Punkbuster again and install using Wine it should work after that, for some reason the punkbuster with the installer on steam is outdated and that explain the random kicking.
It worked better than it does on Windows and it doesn't need the mouse fix, it works out of the box.
Change resolution goes black screen but it goes back to normal after a few seconds
Bioshock runs perfect under Proton experimental, compared to windows back in the day it was a mess to play the game because it had brightness problem but now on Linux, it runs smooth, perfect out of the box experience.
no problem so far, everything run smooth just like Bioshock 1
just a little crackling when on loading screen to the next area but nothing bad
i don't understand the problem other people had but i know the 2K Launcher is a complete hot garbage, for the first launch you do on Steam, the launcher says the game is missing but relaunching fixes and you can play just fine, when i tested this with Proton everything runs smooth and no crashes but it has that Texture pop in, which i fixed by putting the Texture on "High"
It runs perfect just like the original Bioshock but the only problem is the 2k launcher, another bloatware.
It says there's a Native version for Linux but it runs really bad on my end.
Proton experimental went smooth, no problems so far with everything on High, it works great!
Cables disappearing and Rope as well, did not found any fixes
The input lag on the mouse has nothing to do with Proton, this is the game itself, it's janky on Windows too, Bad PC port
Performance drop when there's smoke particles
You can play just fine under Proton as long you don't mind Missing Ropes/Cables textures and the poor performance with smoke, also don't forget mouse input (but this is the PC port being bad), you can play just fine, never got a any crashes.
single player and multiplayer with bots works fine, the mouse movement is kinda janky, maybe it is the game but i did not have any trouble playing this on Proton experimental
No problem, everything runs smooth using Proton 8.0 i did not test the multiplayer, only the singleplayer.
Not working sadly
i tried everything, all the proton builds and the "mf" for the cutscenes, nothing worked.
some of the recommend i'm seeing are from people that already have a save file, if you try to play this for the first time it's borked, don't even bother.
Play this on Windows or buy a copy for a console version. (or something else wink wink)
After 9 months from my last review you can finally play Catherine on Linux for the first time, without any crash, Proton-GE is the way to go to make the cutscenes work, i tried both experimental and hotfix and they don't have cutscenes but Proton-GE does now
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -w 800 -h 600
can't fullscreen or the screen cuts in half
First open your Steam Launch and add this "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -w 800 -h 600"
If you are going to play with Wine i recommend using "wine explorer /desktop=name,800x600 (add your game .exe location here)" and put this in the Terminal and you good to go, have fun!
so far i have not found a way to increase the resolution because this game cuts the screen so the only fix i have is playing on the 800x600 resolution
This game runs better than Lethal company funny enough, it's pretty much a combination of Lethal company and Phasmophobia but goofy. the recording in this game works perfect, all the video download goes to "compatdata" and the "game id" folder and not the game folder "common", just keep in mind.
Select Button Menu Crashes but it's random
This game runs perfect under Proton, but for me it crashes if i open the select menu to read the papers i got or mod weapon, it's random it can crash or not but not a game breaking thing, you can play the whole game without any problem.
The last time i played this the menu was crashing but now everything runs perfect, i did not have a single crash, alt+tab works great, using DX11 or DX12 doesn't make any difference, so i recommend using DX11 if you don't care about Raytracing.
-sdlaudiodriver pipewire
no problem
the game runs fine playing on Native but Proton is Borked atm, first time i played this game the sound worked but now it doesn't for some reason, so i'm using that command to fix my problem "-sdlaudiodriver pipewire"
Checkpoint boxes FPS drops
No problem, it went smooth but for some reason the checkpoint boxes drops my FPS, i tried all the settings and nothing worked but the game itself runs great.
This is the Playtest version, after playing the game for a while i never had any trouble and no crash, everything runs perfect
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%
All you need for this is DSfix, first turn off AA, put all the files from DSfix in the dark souls exe folder, open the DSfix.ini and don't forget to unlock fps to 60, it should work just fine.
Vulkan and OpenGL, everything works smooth and perfect on ultra settings
it run really smooth using DX11 because of my GPU, no problem so far i'm enjoying this game!
mangohud %command%
Bad Performance for some reason but after messing with "shadow" on normal works great...
Game runs butter smooth after messing with the settings. for some reason some games using Proton has a problem when it comes to shadow quality, changing to "Medium" fixed the bad performance. i tried also to use mangohud and see my fps but it goes invisible after the intro, the only fix i found was turning the "Anti-Aliasing" to "Low"
so far, the game runs no problem with some change in the settings, i had 1 crash on my first launch on Linux but after the change in the setting, no problem.
3 Months later i changed my Distro to openSUSE, i had a way better performance this time around with same specs, current using Wayland it runs Butter smooth!
Not getting 60 fps
The game runs perfect out of the box but for some reason i can't get this game to run at 60 fps, it's locked around 40-55 fps, it's kinda annoying but it is very playable, changing the resolution from 720p to 4k doesn't make any difference in performance, it's just make the image better, Last thing i noticed is that this game doesn't use much of GPU and CPU for whatever reason, but overall it is 100% playable, i never had any crash
Nothing bad to complain, just make sure to let the shaders finish before play
can't reach 60 fps
So far the game runs fine but i think the bad framerates are the PC port that Capcom confirmed that will be fixed soon but on my test using Proton, everything runs smooth.
It runs perfect with all graphics settings on "High", no problem so far, alt+tab works just fine
Played from start to finish, no fps drops, no graphical issues or audio, everything works just fine.
i noticed some frame drops using proton, but changing some settings like "shadow" helped the performance get into 60fps (what i'm seeing so far a lot of games gets performance drop with shadow quality)
So far the game played really well on 60 fps all the time and no drops after changing the "Shadow" quality, for some reason a lot of proton games gets affected on shadow quality.
The game runs smooth just like Dying light 1, i have no problems playing this on high settings, the only dumb part is the Epic keeps opening my browser.
Changed the Resolution and added Sharpness for good visuals
Everything works out of the box and thanks to Valve for Letting Anti-cheat not destroy the fun, game runs 60 fps with change on the resolution because of my GPU.
i have to say this game runs faster than playing on Windows... i am serious no fps drops at all.
gamemoderun %command%
Windowed is broken, the screen freezes after 10 minutes of game but the game keeps running in the back so... truck hits everywhere
Stuttering using Opengl
Native version have a broken resolution for me, using Proton experimental fixes that problem but it has a catch, don't use Opengl because it stutters, use DX11 and play with fullscreen without V-sync because if you try to play with windowed the screen freezes, btw don't alt+tab this is one of the games that can bug or crash if you alt tab. overall it's perfect with Proton, no problems so far on Wayland and DX11
Everhood is really fun to play, works perfect out of the box, no problem so far.
Maybe it's my GPU but this game runs at 30-40 with FidelityFX
Tested the beta from months ago on Windows and This new beta today on Linux, the performance is almost balanced with each other, maybe it's just my GPU because it's old but the performance is horrible compared to Resident evil, even using FidelityFX. Online works like charm, anti-cheat is not a problem.
It runs perfect, did not have any problems at all, it was just click and play, it works fantastic like it does on Windows, alt+tab works great with no crashes.
it runs really great and not need to change proton or mess around with the settings.
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra %command%
The normal proton works perfect out of the box but for me that have limited VRAM, i had to lower the resolution to 720p and upscale with FSR using GE proton, now i can get 60 fps easy thanks to GE Proton and FSR upscale, i tried gamescope but it breaks all the time.
It runs perfect, playing Vanilla with no mods, everything runs great just like on Windows
Steam Overlay
The game runs perfect, just remember to disable Steam Overlay because for some reason the new overlay is making the game stuck on Loading screen and never go to the menu.
PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=0 %command%
It could be VRAM usage problem
It Crashes if i change the settings in game
Forza is free for 3 days starting today, so i wanted to check this game out since it's another Microsoft game and see if it works under Linux, it does work but only using that command, without the command when you press start to get in game it just get stuck on loading screen and then crash. Sadly because of my GPU VRAM usage, when i reach the open area of the tutorial area my whole computer freezes, so when it comes to proton it depends, so far the game works and even the login.
gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Huge performance drop, the cause could be VRAM usage
I tried Proton experimental and it worked perfect out of the box, sadly for my VRAM problem i had to use GE Proton so i could upscale the game to make it run smooth, but so far i have not found any problem related to bug and gameplay, it works perfect!
Mouse was kinda slow so i had to increase the movement
you can also feel the pain with Linux :)
[This report is from the beta Playtest] I was testing with both devices Windows and Linux, it works perfect, did not have any problem playing the whole game under Proton experimental and the Native version. this game should run just fine on launch after fixing some memory leak in the game.
Protontrick Winecfg to lock the mouse inside the game
This game runs perfect and i never had any problem with alt+tab and changing resolution. you might have a problem with dual monitor because the mouse can escape from the game window, to fix that use Protontrick, go to Winecfg, add GT3.exe and Lock the mouse inside the game.
Had a crash before but using DX11 and change some settings it fixed and it runs perfect, no fps drops, perfect 60 fps using Proton 8
It just works, i just beat the final boss with no problems using Proton Experimental that it is now Proton 8.0-2
Helldivers runs perfect, i did not have any problem playing this offline and online
Half-Life Anniversary got a Linux Native support that runs smooth, after playing with Proton i had no problem with both.
I don't have a VR headset anymore but the No VR mod works perfect using Proton experimental, you can play the whole game with no problem
The game runs smooth, everything on high and online works perfect, no blah blah blah about Anti cheat, it's just login your microsoft account and play, easy gaming.
perfect out of the box and controller support
protontricks 8190 DLLs d3dx10 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47
Not sure why Valve can't add something to fix the DLLs issues on Proton, maybe there's some legal issues (sorry i don't know about it). The game starts with Blackscreen with normal Proton but using Protontricks and the DLLs that are necessary to work it fixes the issues, so i would say this game runs perfect, it's just the DLLs that gives a headache to everyone else.
protontricks 8190 DLLs d3dx10 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47
I did a fresh install on Opensuse and i want it to test Just cause 2 to see if works... still no, you need the Protontricks DLLs to make it work again, it sucks but at least the game works perfect with this, no problems so far and really smooth.
LD_PRELOAD="" gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -- %command%
you need this command line if you have 2 monitors, it fixes the black screen on one of the monitors, i just finished the whole game with no problems and if the game crashes it resumes on the spot which is good.
the game runs but it struggles to get a stable 60fps compared to windows
Based Krita Enjoyer
I got Krita on Steam to support the Devs, Krita got some amazing tools and a Native linux version, don't use Proton or anything because it's really slow and it mess with Wacom tablet.
If Steam forces the launch on the Windows version, open Krita folder on steam and open "launch.sh" with text editor.
Change the number on the appdir to 1 (the default for me was 0):
Launch Krita. appdir=$(dirname "$1")
Cutscenes little stutters
No problem so far, gameplay was smooth but Cutscenes have a little stutter but nothing to complain about.
I did not have any problem, the game worked perfect from start to finish with the moons
it works perfect out of the box, sadly the steam overlay doesn't work
Before you play make sure to use "Glide" version of the game because it fixes the textures. this game runs perfect on Proton, i did not have any crash and the controller works out of the box (i recommend playing this with controller), the keybind is weird to understand but it's not bad, pretty much plug and play, i love it!
Stuttering with a lot of effects on the screen
played from start to finish, it works great but when there's a lot of bullets/effects on the screen it stutters, not sure how to fix this but the game works fine.
Monster hunter rise runs perfect with Proton, i did not have any slow performance, everything went smooth 60 fps on High settings
I was breaking my head trying to understand why it keeps doing black screen, tried everything and nothing worked, the last thing that i did was set to Proton Hotfix and now the game runs perfect and no problem, wow it was that easy.
Now i'm using OpenSUSE as my main Linux distro i found out that using the "Proton Hotfix" and "Experimental" doesn't work, but using "Proton 6.3-8" works out of the box, no need to waste your time in finding a fix.
Works perfect out of the box using Resolution with 16 bit because 32 gives me black screen, Steam overlay does not work because it makes the game hang and freeze, so play the game without steam overlay and you good to go, smooth gameplay with no need for a audio patch compared to Windows.
it runs perfect out of the box, compared to Max payne 1, Max payne 2 can open Steam overlay, performance wise both run smooth like it does on windows
The game runs perfect under proton, i did not have any trouble playing this game with Dualsense controller and gyro.
mangohud %command%
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 this fixes the audio crackle
Native works perfect but it mess with the controller inputs, it keeps rotating the camera, wrong inputs and wrong main Monitor screen that i can't change at all.
Proton Experimental works perfect and it fits my main Monitor just fine, i had to change some settings because of performance hits, i recommend removing SSAO for performance and PHYSX (they were hitting the performance hard) i noticed that my frames dropped from 60 fps to 40-50 fps.
for FPS games now i don't use controller input because of the gyro, so i always set up the mouse + keyboard buttons on my controller, it works really well and didn't have any problem.
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%
Fixed using this command "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%"
This game runs smooth with everything on Ultra and High resolution texture pack, i did not have any trouble playing, the only problem that i had was audio crackling but it can be fixed using that command. Happy Hunting fellow Hunters!
It works perfect, btw R.I.P Mortal kombat because they don't sell this game anymore :(
DXVK_ASYNC=1 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 mangohud %command%
Freezes my whole system if i change to fullscreen from windowed ingame, but if i do that on the start menu it doesn't happen
Settings problems with Linux using Reflection on "High"
1-First you need to make a "user.cfg" to Limit the CPU usage that this game have, its a problem. This is the lines i'm using for user.cfg:
Thread.ProcessorCount 4 Thread.MaxProcessorCount 4 Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 0 Thread.JobThreadPriority 0 GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8
2-Look for your CPU info and put your cores in there and bam, CPU usage is fixed.
3- Game runs great after changing some settings, my biggest hit was using Reflection on "high", after changed to low it fixes my stuttering.
4- Using mangohud i did some tests, that this game takes some performance because of Nvidia not doing wonders on Linux, i'm getting around 40 fps but on Windows it goes to 55 fps.
it's better than nothing, the game runs fine but i recommend going for AMD if you want the full experience.
Don't Bother with the Steam Version, Play the GOG version
I don't think Valve will ever fix this problem because Obscure uses a different file compared to GOG, for some reason... the Steam version uses directx9 but it's so janky that the launcher is not going to even work, it opens but it stays in the background, i tried everything and even changing files with cracked version, nothing worked. what a waste of money on this game that should work just fine but Valve changed the file. Play this on a Emulator or GOG, that's what i call "Valve moment". funny enough Obscure 2 works... bruh
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Black screen during Boss fight
Before you play the game, USE the Command line and save yourself from the headache, The game worked perfect from the start to finish compared to Obscure 1, did not have any gameplay broken but when i reached the boss fights it turned the whole screen black, only HUD showing which it was annoying to figure out the fix. i had to use "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" to fix the black screen problem. if you don't do that you get Softlocked at the end of the game, really fun... PC port sucks imo, i would recommend playing both games with Emulator so you don't have to suffer.
The game is really clunky, don't expect getting good fps because it's really unoptimized and it stutters hard, but it is playable if you set everything low and resolution to 0%, yes it's going to look bad but it's better than nothing, have fun, see you up there!
just login and did some training to see how responsive it is, it works great out of the box, no performance hit or anything.
If you play this on both Windows and Linux you would not see any difference, worked perfect
Worked great with 60fps after changing some settings like "shadow"
Did a full mission with no issues, Proton runs perfect
Didn't have any problem with Native and Proton, it works great.
Do not worry about Proton it works perfect with Unreal engine games the only problem here is that this game is a Bug mess, best way you can do to fix performance is changing Display Resolution i set mine to 75%, the game already looks bad so it doesn't make a lot of difference, at least the game is playable like this
No problems, the game works perfect. i think this game might have a Linux version but not sure because forcing Proton fixed the Main monitor issue (putting in the wrong display). but yeah have fun, you can play from start to finish.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
yup it works just fine, but you need the same command line like the original game Painkiller Black
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Proton is doing God's work, it's working fine with all the Painkiller games, just don't bother with the Painkiller games made by someone else, stick with the original game, Painkiller Black, Overdose and HD
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
it works fine just like the original, i'm just doing this to give a positive to Proton, this game is boring compared to the original
Got the game the time it came out, i did not have any graphical problem or fps drops, everything runs smooth and you can play online just fine, The best Pokemon game you can get on Steam.
Compared to Windows, it runs smooth, did not have any trouble playing online and exploring the world
it doesn't matter anymore which version you want play, Native works great and Proton also runs like charm, did not have any problem playing the full game on Proton. if anything bad happens, Native should do the work for you.
Level Bug
Stuck in a infinite loop during Memory sequence when putting the dog on the hand statue
Game is borked, i read somewhere in the forums that this bug is related to Wine not working great with this game in particular, idk if that's true, i tried all the proton builds, every time the game infinite loops on that Memory sequence with the Dog sacrifice. nothing else i can do, borked. Play this on Windows
(this is the playtest version) When this game first came out, i did test this game both on Windows and Proton, never had any problem playing this on Proton but on Windows it was stuttering a lot, probably a Unreal engine 5 problem.
Didn't try this game in VR, only on desktop, it works great out of the box, did the tutorial to see and test if my mic works, it does just like on windows.
It works, never had any drop with online function, you can see other players just fine.
i don't know about the other comments in here but the chapter 1 runs perfect from start to finish, didn't try the other chapters
Borked on AMD
sadly i don't have a nvidia card so i wanted to try if this works under AMD but... no luck, it crashes after the intro and also freezes my computer lol
Nothing to complain, everything runs smooth because it runs on Source engine, alt+tab and steam overlay with screenshots are working just fine. The only problem with this game under Proton is that the achievements doesn't unlock for some reason.
i can't believe so well the game is running, Proton is amazing!
DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
Had to upscale because of my VRAM
The game running with upscale goes to 60 fps no problem, but i found out there's a crash problem if you disable "V-Sync" so i had to leave it "on" all the time, Proton experimental runs smooth, GE Proton is a stutter mess for me, but i would say the game runs perfect like Control, the only difference Quantum Break menu doesn't crash on me but Control does and it's random.
Rockstar doesn't care at all and will never Fix Vulkan
Tried everything, changed resolution, graphics and i get only "CRASH ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM" for older GPU, forget about this game because it's Borked and Rockstar doesn't care about you, the only way to play this game is on Windows using DX12 because the Linux version crashes when trying to use DX12 but Vulkan gives this Memory Leak Crash every single time. i got lucky to get the game running ONE time and nothing else, again the only way to play this game using a old Graphic card is on Windows don't even bother with Linux on this one or get a better Card with enough VRAM.
the VRAM leak problem was a thing since launch and Rockstar don't even bother trying to fix this broken game.
VKD3D_SHADER_MODEL=6_6 %command%
Somehow i got Red dead finally running on Vulkan and the memory leak is no more, i really don't know what it is, if its the proton update or the command i just used to also fix Starfield, whatever it is i don't have VRAM leak anymore and it runs on a 2GB vram GPU with lower resolution + upscale of course, i can finally hit 60 fps in some areas
This is the final update on Red dead 2, After testing so many times with Nvidia and now AMD, Red dead 2 runs really smooth on AMD, i did not have any problem playing the game on Vulkan API and All Ultra settings, Proton does amazing work on this game, so happy that i switched my Nvidia to AMD, my experience was so much better.
The game runs perfect on Proton experimental, i did not have any problem or crashes, really smooth gameplay
Game runs slower using the default setting
Resident evil runs perfect 60 fps using FidelityFX on Quality, for some reason the game doesnt run well without FidelityFX like on Windows (using Interlaced mode). So far, the game runs perfect 60 fps, no drop or stutter but the image gets affected because i had to use 1600x900 but using FXAA+TAA fixes the issue with the hair graphic but it gets blurred image. For a OLD Nvidia GPU on Linux it works just fine, sadly for the better image, Windows does the job...
Played the game from start to finish, did not have any problem, it runs perfect!
i don't know about the negative proton comments i saw (maybe it's RTX related), imo playing this on AMD card the game runs perfect out of the box, i did not have any problem playing with controller and gyro, under wayland and Alt+Tab works great, smooth game all the way.
Native port runs perfect
I'm using the Native port Feral, they did a fantastic job on the port, it runs just like on Windows, Proton runs slower compared, i recommend using the Feral port if it doesn't work, Proton 8.0 does the job.
no problem so far using Native, yea the launch sucks sometimes but it runs, the only problem was input delay.
The game runs smooth just like on Windows but keep in mind that VRAM usage can be a problem if you have 2gb, make sure you don't have anything that pushes vram in the background and you should be good to go on 60fps, but if you have more than 2gb of vram go wild!
Rocket League had a Linux support but not anymore if you want your old stuff you have to play under Proton and also gives you new updates, so far it works great under proton, i recommend going proton than native on this game because of the new updates.
Using Fullscreen affects performance
Performance tanks on Linux but runs great on Windows using DX11 or 12
I Tried playing this but the performance was horrible compared to Windows using DX11 or 12, to make it run better i had to change the resolution and use windowed mode, for some reason the fullscreen affects the performance even more.
My review so far on the game, it runs perfect on Single player story, i never had any FPS problem, Alt+Tab problem or crash, everything runs smooth, i did not test the online fight because i'm more into the single player.
Game runs perfect like it does on Windows, no need to change anything.

Performance drop is because of the VRAM limit
i did some tests on Windows vs Linux, due to GPU limitation 2GB of VRAM, i had problems playing on Proton and Vulkan Freezes all the time but not DX12, so the best solution i got to run 60 fps is upscaling and running on GE Proton that fixes the Vulkan API on my end, did not have any trouble playing the game so far, if you have a beefy GPU it should not be a problem because the optimization on this game is really good and it runs amazing on Linux
First thing to keep in mind the "Save corrupted" is a thing that happens on Windows too because the devs never fixed but don't worry just use another Save slot and it works just fine, i have one save from 2021 and still works, Sunset Overdrive runs smooth just like it does on Windows, for anyone that have Steamdeck this is a must game to play.
Anti cheat Borked
They need to Allow Linux to run this game, this is why i don't bother with Online games like this anymore like Destiny 2, anti cheat is such a headache and they never get the real hackers, shame.
The game runs perfect out of the box and Mods works just fine like it does on Windows

The forest has a bad performance on Proton and it drops to 5-10 fps
For some reason the performance is really bad using normal proton without command.
i recommend using "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1" for better performance, that command made the game run smooth
The game runs smooth and i did not have a single crash, alt+tab works great
Mouse doesn't lock
This game runs perfect, i did not have any crash, the only problem is the mouse lock, it doesn't lock inside the game but if you use Protontrick, WineCFG you can lock the mouse inside just fine.
It runs great, but the only problem i can see in the future is that the UPlay launcher will stop and this game will no longer work because you need to access your account to play... really dumb decision on a game like this.
Native and Proton runs perfect, i'm just using Proton because it fixes my game Window Fullscreen to my main monitor, not sure why this happens with Native port of the games on steam but it fixes, you can't go wrong with both of them, it works perfect, from start to finish.
It works perfect just like the first game, using Proton on this game too because it fixes the problem with the game not going to my main monitor.
Vram usage i would bet
Didn't test with VR, but so far the game runs, just some slow fps because i think it's the Vram usage, under Linux you are going to take some hits on the GPU, so make sure you have enough Vram on the card, being on GTX 950 it runs but it's not a good experience if you want 60 fps or more, Stick with Windows if you can with old GPU
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 gamemoderun %command%
Fixed using PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 (Old trick that still works)

So far, Warframe runs smooth just like on windows, the only problem i found so far was the weird stutters and audio crackle, i fixed the audio using "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60" and with the stutter all i had to do was turning the "High Shader Quality" off, the game runs butter smooth!
Tested doing some singleplayer and it works like charm, using FSR to give me more fps boost, my experience so far it runs far better than it does on Windows.
didn't test the online.
Black screen if you alt+tab in fullscreen
It works perfect, the only problem is the fullscreen gets bugged if you alt+tab but the full game runs perfect
Nothing to complain, Everything works perfect and on Ultra/High settings
didn't have any trouble to play this, everything works out of the box. is not like you guys are playing this for the gameplay anyway, this is a NSFW game.
I did not have any trouble playing this game on Proton, it runs really smooth.
