Worked fine singleplayer. Didn't test multiplayer but I don't see there being issues
The game works perfectly.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
online multiplayer game crashed
I tryed proton experimental as well as GE-Proton9-11 both working perfect
Works perfectly out of the box

Works ootb on Proton 8.0.3
Pop!_OS 22.04 (x11)
Steam flatpak

The game runs perfect, it runs just like it does on Windows, maybe faster? but yeah the game is playable from start to finish!
Broken on latest proton versions and on older proton it can be playable but I wouldn't recommend it
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -windowed
I had to force 5.13-6 and put some commands to get it to boot but in game im missing textures and have super low frames compared to windows performance
RADV_PERFTEST=gpl %command%
Turned TDP down to 10 watts + Half Rate Shading
Game freezes when exiting game from main menu, use steam button + B to fix.
Often you'll get fps drops to the high 40s-mid 50s, which isn't a big deal.
gamemoderun
Sometimes the game wouldn't exit when clicking "quit." Had to alt-tab and select quit from within Steam. The game would then quit as expected. Sometimes audio would skip when passing a checkpoint. Minor issues.
Otherwise, runs the same as on Windows.
This tongue-in-cheek FPS romp is perfectly suited for Deck on default graphical settings.
It's playable but there are fps drops on any settings, high or low. Something is not right with waterfalls and overall particles.
Game works kinda bad, high gpu usage and fps drops when I look for example at waterfall.

Current Proton leads into game breaking crash in 2nd level.
Game would completely exit at a certain point in the second mission which was resolved by using GEProton7-16
Besides the level 2 crash which required the usage of GE proton, the game ran fine with no issues afterwards. Very smooth performance at 1440p (No FSR) with no hiccups!
Always crashes to desktop after using the level2 keycard in the game's second stage. Doesn't matter which proton version I use (haven't tried GE).

(GOG version) Works well
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
Games seem to work great as long as you use Proton 5.13-6. Newer versions, including GE, will crash towards the end of the second mission.
In 3 hours of playtime, game froze once for about 10 seconds and then resumed.
Crash that blocks progression.
Crashes after a couple of levels.
Crashes after a couple of levels, blocking the story progression.
Installed it and just clicked play. Game ran perfectly. Better performance than on Win10.
Game showed black screen for 10 sec on start, then ran just fine.
Works out of the box
Finished the game in coop, no issues.
As for some other reporters, the game always crashes at a certain point, at level 2, after activating level 2 access card.

If it doesn't get past the main menu, run with the option "%command% -novideos" and it should work.
This game runs sublimely on Proton, I've beaten it twice on Linux; but as of recently, you need to run it with -novideos to get it to work. Probably some squirrely WMF thing; but everything else actually works better than Windows. (Otherwise, it will CTD on the main menu.)
The video issue is a new problem; it used to work out of the box, but isn't officially Proton-supported yet. I honestly wasn't even aware that there were any videos...
Doesn't run on my current setup. Should work for others.

Proton-6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.1-GE-2
Newer GE versions and Proton Experimental all crashed. Only 6.1-GE-2 worked.
You need to use Proton 5.13.6 at least the newer version just crashed for me. So i would recommend this Proton for now at least.
Works flawlessly.
Funciona perfecto
About 90% of the way through the game with no real problems.
To minor issues, 1 tabbing out seemed to cause massive frame rate drop (restarting the game fix it) and some in-game video is audio only.

Runs fine and fast with Proton 3.16-9 and these start parameters: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command%

Game does not start
When I press PLAY, it shows STOP for a few seconds and then go back again to PLAY (it does no start).
Crashes on the second level.
Crashes after 2 objectives in the second level, unable to continue the game.
It just works (tm)
Runs well OOTB including COOP gaming with Windows users

The game was performing great, without FPS or graphical losses, but it crashes.
Game keeps on crashing at the same point, around level 2.
Works without any issues, no additional steps necessary.

Proton-5.9-GE-3-ST GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.9-GE-3-ST
Minus the issues with the occasional blackout, I see better performance, and would otherwise not be able to tell a difference.
run command I use: gamemoderun VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=100 MANGOHUD=1 %command%
Proton-5.6-GE-2
When playing window fullscreen, the screen will fill with black pixels, but menus are still present along with other ui elements. Changing resolution or flipping v-sync on/off resolves this, but it's quite infrequent.
Just the rendering issue, but I haven't found a root cause
