An all-in-one Worms game for all of the previously released Worms 3D games with some enhanced features
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" mangohud gamemoderun %command%
Installed Windows Media Player 11 (wmp11), then ran "RegVideoDLL.exe" from the game folder (using Wine shell from protontricks) to be able to see movies (cutscenes).
Don't use Fullscreen from the Launcher options. Causes problems with Alt+Tab. Untick it to use windowed mode.
Use https://github.com/ermaccer/Worms4UHD.MouseFix to fix mouse issues.
Use https://github.com/heatray/WUMPatch to fix many game bugs and add new features. Also allows for borderless fullscreen mode, and removes some bad post-processing effects.
Works normally. Multiplayer has some delay, but that's because it's P2P. This problem is not exclusive to Linux/Proton.
Works normally.
One of the good old games.

10/10

Work better than on modern windows :3 brillant

gamemoderun %command%
Fullscreen worked, even after tabbing out, so no issues

when minimizing and going back in the game i got a blackscreen
wont run with default proton settings on my machine

Works perfectly as of Proton 8.0-5
The problems existent on Windows 10/11 (jittery mouse, choppy framerate) do not occur here. Had a great time playing this game on Linux.

the mouse is somewhat buggy but works
very nice on both ge and normal

Black screen if you alt+tab in fullscreen
It works perfect, the only problem is the fullscreen gets bugged if you alt+tab but the full game runs perfect

Smooth 60 fps unike windows where you can encounter 40 or 50 fps lock and janky camera movement
For some reason if you map left trigger to first person veiw and right trigger to shoot in game menu gamepad settings pressing right trigger when holding left one just disables first person camera instead of shooting. If you map shooting to any other button it works just fine.

Works almost 1:1 like it was native.
Game uses OpenGL, no issue for Linux
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Need to set minimum Proton-GE 7-47 version, otherwise only black screen.
Crosshair on the shotgun misses the crosshair 1/10 times. Not sure if this is a bug with proton or a worms bug
Works after chaning the default opengl driver ls -la ./usr/lib64/dri/ pick one from there, dosnt wokr on zink radeonsi and nouveau
MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=vmwgfx %command%
Dos'nt work at all, graphics dosnt show, only blinking big textures
A few particle effects were a bit buggy. But this might be the fault of the game itself.
In-game story videos don't work except for the first two.
There's a delay between what the players see on screen, but since this is a turn-based game it's not an issue.

The default Gamepad template works perfectly, but In-game control prompts mostly show keyboard keys and DirectInput buttons.
If your game lags - lower video settings in config window, that pops before you launch the game inself. Lowering shadow resolution and disabling hardware anti-aliasing worked for me.
Works great, not additional tinkering necessary, just used newest realease of Proton (7.0-4).
Need to use Steam Button + Right Trackpad mouse to interact with the launcher on the official layout.
The picture-in-picture camera is distorted and does not track things correctly, instead showing random parts of the map.
Easy 60fps on highest settings. Some ingame control prompts show keyboard controls.
Works perfectly fine.
Good Worms game that is great fun with 3 other friends!

Some stability issues and random conrol quirks, but nothing critical. Overally, the experience is still good.
On a controller, when starting the game, the horizontal camera axis for third person view will be reversed. You can fix this in the settings, but it will sometimes revert on game reset, despite the correct setting still being ticked. Unticking, and reticking the setting fixes the issue.
The game would crash... approximately once every 4 levels in story mode after completing a mission. The mission remains completed, so there is no need to replay the level. I had one game crash when starting a map.
Runs perfectly out of the box with very minor issues
The game seldom crashes when a weapon hits while double damage is active
Only 60hz refresh rate option is available.
Works as expected.
I played custom online matches only. My report does not say anything about story mode.

Proton-5.9-GE-7-ST GloriousEggroll
Launch option: MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=iris %command%
All models (Worms, crates, health packs, even guns and cosmetic items) are invisible. This alone renders the game effectively unplayable despite working perfectly everywhere else (and videos don't work).
The bug I noted only affects Intel HD Graphics users like myself, other graphic cards should have no issues. If you happen to have an Intel iGPU you can fix this by using the following launch parameter: MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=iris %command%
. While this worked in my setup, it made the game unplayable because it had extremely low FPSs when it was running at 60 before. This command should only be used in Iris cards.
Minor flaws for me but definitely playable.
At some parts I can definitely hear worm dialogue glitching out. Like random parts of words said rapidly. Not every time though, mostly worked fine.
Game would crash after some missions. The game saved the progress though so I didn't have to do the mission again and could keep playing.
Works better than on Windows
While on Windows mouse cursor is choppy, on Linux is perfectly smooth.
Run out of the box
Videos work perfectly
Worms ultimate mayhem runs perfectly on linux
mouse and controller right stick inverted
Worms ultimate mayhem run really good on linux i would even say that it runs better then on windows 10. on linux game doesn't have mouse bug
Perfect experience
Alt-tabbing the game can crash it, just avoid doing that and that's fine.
worms,weapons,crates are invisible

Everything works, but the cutscenes. Best to use the "No Movies" option for now.

No issues, Works like a charm

Working perfectly out of the box. Including videos.

Game itself is playable, but videos are skipped/do not play
