No launcher visual bug, game starts correctly, better performance than Windows on my PC

The game runs as smooth as it runs on windows smoothly, but sometimes freezes. Overall, you can enjoy the game without any issues.
The game freezes sometimes while playing. I had to switch to NVIDIA only graphics to play games in linux, it doesnt work with Hybrid graphics.
Warframe runs out of the box without tinkering any commands or files.

Runs perfectly out of the box - no notes.

Fresh install of Bazzite, running for 3 days, installed Warframe as is, nothing needed to be added or tinkered with. Loads up in a window, but once logged in and navigated to settings, it was perfect. Once you've changed the settings to suit your GPU and preferences, close the game down and re-open; perfect.

Runs great out of the box.
Proton Experimental on Steam, would recommend giving DX12 a go (launcher settings) if you experience micro-stutters (Nvidia GPU).

Funcionou melhor que windows, porém nas configurações do laucher tem que desativar o ¨Tela cheia¨, pra mim com esta opção ativada o teclado não funciona dentro do jogo.

The game works out of the box, the problems I had where probably because of my config. After I restarted my PC, the game ran perfectly.
--force-grab-cursor
Had some problems with the full screen mode when I do alt tab too frequenly
until I launched with grab mouse, it will escape from the game window. Even with full screen. I had to alt enter twise to fix it before.

On max settings I can constantly run 144 fps related to my monitor refresh rate. As any other game, shaders have to be compiled first for the purpose of getting persistent frame rates.
Works with any recent version of proton, even with any Proton GE9 versions.

performance is unbelievably good, with better .1% and 1% lows than my W10 install

It runs just as smooth as it is on windows, only problem is with DirectX and Vulcan communication - run PC only on dedicated GPU
The game only runs when the whole system only uses dedicated graphics card, doesn't run on hybrid mode.
Runs out of the box, no special tinkering with commands required. Use Proton GE.

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%
somtimes it flickers slightly for a short time
To fix the alt+tab issue use PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%
The laucher gets black on my end for some reason but the play button is easy to hit

Had frequent crashes. Solution was to dissable AMD Freesync on my Monitor. Not in OS Settings on the Monitor itself.

The game is practically unplayable in it's current state with the frequent crashes. You can sometimes barely finish a mission.

Game would not maximise when in windowed mode if another window was on the screen.
Keyboard stops working when changing to another workspace.
Game will freeze at a random point. Sometimes it's fine for two hours sometimes it crashes after a minute. Once frozen the game becomes unplayable until restarted. dmesg shows a "CTX SWITCH TIMEOUT".
I've tried different drivers, kernel upgrades, switching to Debian 13, using NTSYNC with GE-Proton, DirectX 11, DirectX 12, Disabling GPU Particles. Nothing has worked so far.

There is lower performance and a minor graphics issue in the launcher, but it is playable.
There is a graphics problem in the launcher.
Playable

Played two hours so far and once it almost-froze the whole system. You could still hear minimal audio fragments which made me think it would catch itself again which it did after about a minute or two. Nothing unusual since; trying to stay on it to hopefully get an idea of what this might have been.
I got no problems alt-tabbing as others reported.
Seems to work almost flawless.

Some weird menu bugs when switching to Fullscreen. Borderless doesn't have any performance issues for me so not a big deal
Runs perfectly with GE

It works fine out of the box without any tinkering. I had to switch to Directx12(beta) otherwise game would be barely playable.
For Nvidia's users, switch to Directx12 (Beta) in the game's launcher settings.
It works great. On Low settings and FSR on Balance I get 100-120 fps.

Had to switch Proton versions to make the game start at all, otherwise it kept crashing at launch. Now everything works perfectly.

Some point in the game (usually within a minute of logging in) the game freezes and just doesn't unfreeze.

no issues whatsoever on my side (runs out the box), I heard from friends that there are problems with NVIDIA GPUs tho

Runs flawlessly, all issues I had previously have since been resolved
There's not much to add to here, which is always a good sign. Game performs quite well without any issues or tampering. Previously the game would often stutter, suffer graphical issues, and crash or lock up the computer upon an alt-tab. I've played for about 30 hours since then and suffered no such issues within the past month.

This game runs faster than in win11 pro ,on my setup so far i tested the game for about an month and half works like a charm in Cachy os.
works also whith proton-cachyos (native package) more stable fps no bugs .

I can play without any problem

Keyboard was not detected, but turning off steam controller override for warframe solved it
Writing that steam startup command, and disabling controller override solved all problems for me

I had to set the proton flag in order to fix an alt tab bug on Hyprland. It is only on Hyprland I have this use. Unneeded on KDE.

Launcher would try to update and say that failed because “it could not run the Warframe executable”. Standalone version worked in Lutris.
I tried Proton 8, 9 and Experimental, but only wine/Lutris worked in the end... The standalone version asked for the WF folder location, and it started updating normally. However, it seemed to be stuck in a loop, so I had to disable Bulk Downloads in the launcher.

Funcionou sem qualquer problema. Usando proton experimental e usando directx 12 (que o jogo diz estar em beta) o desempenho igualou e muitas vezes superou o Windows 11.

It wouldn't launch most of the time without these options. With the above options, it works just as well as it did on windows.

Game will occasionally just stop launching, re-validate or reinstall the game. GE-Proton10.7 seems to work with the launcher & game.
PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%
DX12 will sometimes not launch on this system without checking 'Fullscreen' in launcher
Without changing the prefix or Proton versions the game will fail to launch or crash as soon as Warframex64.exe is started. My only fix was to wipe the Proton prefix and re-validate & optimize in the Warframe launcher.
I don't think the GE branch is needed to play, Proton 9 w/ gamescope works with DX12 (at least on AMD), other than minor frame drops occasionally the game runs really good.

Switch to DX11 if you're running a Nvidia GPU.

alt tabbing back into the game sometimes breaks fullscreen. but doing it a few more times fixes it.
this time i installed the game on a different drive that was using btrfs :) ntfs sucks lol

wine launcher.exe %command%
alt-tabbing out of the game sometimes breaks it and you cannot re-enter the game visually but only audibly.
sometimes the game slows down while confirming settings changes and entering/exiting menus.
when i hit play the button changes to say stop, then goes back to saying play. my game is downloaded from a drive in ntfs format that used to be used for Windows 10. this may cause an issue for this game specifically as other games i play dont really have this problem. running the launcher through wine was the only way i could find to get it to run. once the game launches then steam can no longer track game time.

Try proton 8 if you get stutters on other versions. Maybe my launch options can help too.

Frametime rubberbanding on any proton version above 9. GE 10.4 included.
I played with the stutter for a while and it was playable.

Couldn't get it to work with gamescope due to the custom launcher the game has, but the game does work fine perfectly out of the box without

I only seem to have found sudden FPS drops in Höllvania (1999), around 5-10fps at times.
Did a test on Steel Path Hellscrub (Survival) for about 15mins, maximum i saw dropped was 60fps to 45fps on intense moments (lots of explosions, VFX on screen), which is honestly impressive for my now outdated PC. Even recorder a small portion of it if anyone cares. https://youtu.be/iNBKen-xOpo
