I use GloriousEggroll's version of Proton.

Worked out of the box. Very good!
Windows-like experience, if a little faster.

switching to desktop and back sometimes causes issues
Not as fluid as i would have liked,.. but i still works great

There's an issue since last Friday, where the launcher returns an Update failed! error. In the Warframe Launcher.log theres an error: GetVolumeInformation(Z:\home) failed. Error code: 144
Steam returns the following during the update attempt: wine client error:0: recvmsg: Socket operation on non-socket
There's a temporary solution to this, you need to delete the prefix for Warframe located in: .steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/230410
Careful tho, your config file is located here, you will want to create a back up for it. .steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/230410/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Warframe/
If you do this most of the time it will launch. But once you have a successful start, you will have to delete the prefix again to be able to launch the game again.

Avg of 90+ fps with mid-high graphics in Höllvanias Techrot survival.

Was working but now the launcher gives the "Update failed! Could not run the Warframe executable!" error
Very rarely will it work but I don't have any idea why it works when it does, much less getting it to work consistently

Only worked on 9.0.4
Serious performance loss when using proton GE or 10.0

After switching focus to another window, clicking on the game window in the panel only shows a black screen for a split-second, then minimizes the window again. However, a double click correctly refocuses the game.
In Mint, there is an option to highlight the mouse position when tapping Ctrl. If this option is enabled, the game doesn't register the Ctrl key inputs at all.
Works perfectly fine out of the box, with some very minor issues.

Perfect until 2 weeks ago. Launcher now shows "Unable to run Warframe executable." Reinstall didn't help. Replicated on other PC too.
Not running anymore on Linux (Debian) after years of working perfectly.

Runs out of the box. The only issue I encountered was a VRAM leak when the Steam overlay was disabled. With the overlay enabled, the game runs flawlessly. Performance and stability are excellent.

Near windows performance
Slightly lower FPS than on Windows
Very rare crashes when joining dojos. Not sure if Proton exclusive.
The shader cache is very large, and has to refresh more often than I would expect.

If you unfocus the window and go back, you can't move the mouse. You need to hit 'Close' to make the game recognize it. This is running on X11.
Proton-CachyOS or GE-Proton fix the issue.
If you're using a Steam Deck, you're good to go. I’ve got mine right here, and it can play out of the box. But if you're on a PC, you might need to do some tinkering, like switching to GE-Proton to fix input lag.

Game runs out of the box.
Game sometimes turns black when switching to another window though the issue fixes iteself by repeating the process.

Surprisingly smooth game play, feels more responsive than Windows.
Slight stuttering initially, smooth playing thereafter on High graphics preset
I did have issues with melee slide attacks, Pop!_OS 22.04 (and I think other distros using Gnome) have a shortcut of CTRL + Shift + E to activate the emoji input, you can't see this in game though, but activating it causes you to just stand still rending input useless until you hit Esc. You can change the keybind by running ibus-setup
in your terminal and heading over to the emoji tab, self-explanatory for there.
Works out of the box!

LD_PRELOAD=""
Slight problems with alt tabbing, but works after a few tries
Ran poorly, fixed with DX12 and launch commands.
The game would not launch at all at first, then I realized It can be fixed by installing it to the same drive my OS was on (ext4) instead of my NTFS file system SSD.
Launches with 0 issues now!

LD_PRELOAD=""
Forgot exactly how, but steps need to be taken to prevent massive lag spikes about an hour into the game, otherwise, there are no bugs that aren't also an issue on other platforms.
Easy install and runs great

Cannot play with keyboard and mouse unless using SteamDeck=0 %command%
If you want to play warframe on a keyboard and mouse using a steamdeck in desktop mode, use SteamDeck=0 %command%

The frame rates dropped quite a bit in windowed mode. But when i switched to fullscreen mode the performance was totally superb and the frame rates were stable too.
The Performance is same as that of windows. No bugs, glitches nothing yet. Highly reccommended

Warframe was very well playable without NTSync, however I had stuttering, long loading times, occasional disconnects, and pretty low framerate overall. I had to bare through it regardless. When I modprobe'd the ntsync module to turn it on then played Warframe, it was like I was back on windows with its level of performance. It was crazy. Safe to say, it feels very smooth now, just like my original experience with warframe on Windows being smooth---Might even be a little smoother.

In order to get Warframe working in Desktop Mode with Mouse and Keyboard enabled. I had to Add Warframe.x64.exe as a non steam game along with the extra command -cluster:public -registry:Steam and of course compatability mode with Proton GE-27 More info can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3027980121
For Graphical settings : All Low settings 1280x720(for desktop mode) Cap at 60fps FSR2.2 Balanced or Performance depending on if doing open world content Enjoy.
Low Settings cap at 60fps + FSR2.2 Performance

Black screen during start, and stuttering during loading screens.

El juego funciona de lujo en Linux
Same performance as on Win10. 👍

After alt-tabbing from the game it takes a few tries to get back.

Quando uso alt+tab o jogo minimiza e não consigo retornar para ele
Funciona super bem

Runs clean, no issues
Using Proton Hotfix, all systems go, no tweaks needed

Minor changes for taste - swapped A and X button functionality.
Recommend setting max FPS to 40 for FPS stability.
launcher not launching with any settings
Worked fine until 2 weeks ago, some update came and since then its technically launchable - i can click the button and it does something - but doesnt actually show anything i tried about 5 different proton versions from current hotfix down to 7. something aswell as the last 3 ge versions steam -d doesnt provide anything useful either just hope someone smarter than me figures it out so i can play again any help/advice would be appreciated

Sometimes was a bit stubborn when tabbing in, spam left-clicking helps though

For the most part runs fine, suffers from the ocassional crash while in menus
The game will crash on occasion. I'm not sure why this happens, and the only other person to report issues similar to mine was also using an intel GPU, so I suspect it's a problem with their linux drivers. I've tried switching to older proton variants but that only makes the game less stable, stick to experimental for now. The issue only seems to happen if you spend too long in a menu, like to look through your inventory or at void relics. Again, I'm not sure why. The game will also hitch every so often but I have yet to see it do this outside the orbiter and I have yet to see it crash, though I don't doubt for a moment that either are possible.
After playing it for about 6 hours or so on linux, I can recommend it, but that recommendation comes with an asterisk if you're using an intel GPU.

Sem ajustes, funciona perfeitamente

Идеально работает
Работает из коробки идеально

Do not use the high quality shaders, they will kill the framerate. Optional: disable the cromatic aberration, the film grain effect and the motion blur camera movement. But the must is: FSR - Performance preset. Do not exceed from high to ultra in the shaders, textures and so on. At 1080p the ultra settings are useless.
It's great, just like a Windows experience.
