get around like 60ish fps on windows with lowest settings 100% res scale and get maybe 20-30 through proton 0% res scale lowest settings
game is already poorly optimized and that doesnt help proton much if you can just pass your gpu through to a windows vm and play through there but still technically playable

When trying to launch the game without using "-dx11" it crashes when loading | If the game doesnt launch try reinstalling lib32-libldap
Took a while to figure out but its a really simple fix, you just need to add '-dx11' to your launch options. Game runs perfect for me after that.
Mit Proton 8.0.2 gestartet und keine Probleme gehabt.
My GPU is getting old and slow, but game still seems pretty unoptimized. Runs acceptably on low settings in 1920x800.
Worked out of the box using Proton Experimental. First startup took a pretty long time, and game was a slideshow with the default graphics settings. After fixing the graphics settings I managed to play enough to experience a couple of huge falls, so I guess game is working as intended.
Currently BORKED!
I tried all versions of proton, and none of them worked.
I was unable to make the game work, even while using bottles or flatpak steam.
I couldn't get past the launch screen.

Unfortunately, when I tried launching, it always crashed.

Sensitivity was too high, lowered it via ingame settings
Run in proton compatibility and lower mouse sensitivity
The game is really clunky, don't expect getting good fps because it's really unoptimized and it stutters hard, but it is playable if you set everything low and resolution to 0%, yes it's going to look bad but it's better than nothing, have fun, see you up there!

make sure to tweak the settings to low and adjust the mouse sensitivity. worked alright after that but bit of a battery killer
