I didn't have any crashes mentioned by others. Opening the map is just slow, and I've avoided saving over previous saves
Struggles to maintain 60fps on low settings
Game loads slowly after using the touchscreen on the first launch window
Some text is thin and it's difficult to make out what it says
Default proton got hung on launch
Proton started in insecure mode even with -secure tag, which prevented me from joining servers
Proton turns on insecure mode which makes it impossible to join servers, it also makes text in the game next to impossible to read
Text is very small by default, but UI can be scaled
Missing a zoom mapping
Performance issues got worse in full screen
Some parts only worked with the controller, some parts only worked with the keyboard and mouse
A lot of lagging
Default proton wouldn't launch the game
Pressing start while loading into a game would crash me out of the lobby, but not out of the game, other than that flawless
Controller mapping seems to be off
Had to turn off shader caching in Steam, and use the Glorious Eggroll proton version
Works with experimental. Default proton had no audio for me
There was a bit of drift when first loaded into the map, but it went away
Some button prompts are difficult to make out
Sub-60fps at times
No tab button mapped in the default controller configuration, so it's impossible to get past tutorial prompts in new games
Had to use touchscreen for the initial launch window
Crashed twice in 3 hours
Isn't fun when the controllers are detected as 2 players each in the game
Controllers consistently are detected as being 2 players each, which makes the game difficult to play
45 fps on medium settings
Sometimes crashed when loading into the map, never in game though
Controller not mapping correctly is annoying
Fullscreen made the game stutter, but windowed fullscreen works
Pressing A button to run seems to start the in game recording instead. Not sure how to fix it
The new GE seems to fix the new issues currently present in the default proton
Small frame drops here and there, only a couple over 30 hours
Sometimes I had to use the touchscreen to move rather than the analog stick
Base proton currently causing some stuttering
Sometimes the control layout stopped working, but switching it to another layout and then back to default fixed it
Default proton didn't seem to work at all, but forced experimental was much better than when I played this game on Linux or W10 previously
Touchpad click seems to click multiple times in the city management sliders, but for those the trigger click works just fine
The text is a little small
DirectX 12 fixed artifact issues
Turned graphics to low and turned on direct X 12
Proton experimental allows for 60 fps during gameplay, default proton I was only getting ~45
Cut scenes in story got out of sync, but gameplay audio was fine
Slow load times
Followed the guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/261550/discussions/0/2144217924392222478/
Launch window has some artifacts, initially loading characters sometimes takes a second
Xbox 360 controller didn't seem to have correctly mapped buttons
Takes 5-10 seconds to save, leaving areas causes the game to freeze for 5-10 seconds. Some minor fps drops on High/Very High graphics settings
Crashes every ~30 minutes. Save frequently
Multiplayer doesn't work at all
BattlEye doesn't work, and all multiplayer games currently require it
Lagging in certain areas with graphics settings at max
Fell out of sync sometimes, but not for long
Load time is a bit slow
Had some drift, but it was partially my controllers fault
You have to play using the touch screen, the touchpad only works for the right half of the screen
Works with -tv tag to watch pavlov games, but I assume you couldn't actually play the game on the Steam Deck
-tv
It's difficult to play while using the touchscreen. If you could just use the touchpad to move the mouse this game would be fun on the deck
Only the touch screen can be used, and it doesn't work very well
Drops down to 5-10 fps at the start of each level
Only the touch screen worked on the menu, none of the controls work
Honestly surprised this isn't considered verified. The devs have made customized control bindings/instructions for the deck. Just works
Would be better with touchpad support, but just turn down mouse sensitivity to 2 and it works well OOTB
Honestly if you're into Satisfactory you'll make it work, but the average person wouldn't enjoy the current experience
Somewhat small text, but they have configurable HUD scaling in game
The grip buttons aren't detected in game, these would be very useful for things like hotbar selection
All controls in game indicate kbm bindings, which makes it difficult to remember which button to press. The hotbar requires pulling up the keyboard to press the number and then dismissing the keyboard. All in all it works, but the game is not currently meant to be played with a controller
At 30 fps cap the game plays in slow motion. Move it up to 60 fps and the game plays fine.
Default proton doesn't seem to recognize any of the deck controls. GE works OOTB
Initially had to use a mouse to get the game settings setup, but after that a controller works fine
Slight loading issues in populated areas when all graphics settings are maxed out
In the main menu up was bound to down on the d pad and vice versa
Technically works, but between the bad audio quality and random black screens it's not great
Cutscene videos don't seem to work
Unable to connect to multiplayer servers
Added Ctrl and Shift to L4 and L5
Turns can be very slow on the SD card
Added ctrl and shift to grip buttons
Scaled UI in settings
