Das Spiel geht zum zum ersten Introscreen. Dann verschwindet der Screen. Das war es
Ich habe ALLE Proton Protokolle ausprobiert. Sowohl über Lutris und Steam Proton. Nichts hat einen Erfolg gebracht. Schade
You have Balls of Steel!

BLENDOS
Game is not launching. It use to run but not anymore, maybe after some updates but can-t find any clue.
-screen-fullscreen 0

-screen-fullscreen 0
i was forced to use "-screen-fullscreen 0", as the game would not even start. as a multimonitor system, i suspect the game had a tantrum from trying to fullscreen across both screens. game started fullscreen anyway. (probably borderless).
a while ago i got cabinet settings unlocked. so i could rotate my screen to play, i noticed that rotation does work, bit it seems the other settings are all messed up, e.g the "backglass" was trying to access a "Z:" directory in plain text. (some sort of debug failover i guess?) (only just back on linux, thought wine/proton "z:/" was the wine game directory mapping...) game plays absolutely fine otherwise. (i marked audio as fine, but mine is muted, it seemed unfair to mark something i tested down when it's likely fine)
when i tried starting the game without tinkering. (the fullscreen command) the game did not load. i've changed my memlock for a standard manjaro-gnome install. but it's still fresh, probably not even running the latest and greatest drivers yet. so no, i don't think someone who can't get the game to launch on a fresh manjaro install could enjoy a game that did not start at all.
Ran without any issues
Works perfectly fine
As others have mentioned, one needs to change the video settings from fullscreen to borderless and back, so the game actually uses the whole screen. Other than that perfect.
minimizing game or switching virtual desktop results in black screen, add launch option -screen-fullscreen 0
to fix it
Runs perfectly OOTB.
The game runs with zero issues OOTB.

When first run on Steam Deck the app runs small - like picture in picture - with wide borders left and bottom. FIX = close game - drop to desktop - run game once from desktop Steam app - close game - go back to Steam [not desktop].
After sorting the graphics sizing issue the game is great. My one issue was with the on screen keyboard covering text entry when I got high score and making entering name hard - also delete / backspace for some reason did not work so could not rectify mistakes [maybe text field losing focus]. Devs - if you read this please fix it - maybe put text entry box to top rather than centre if Steam Deck detected maybe.
A little hard to play with the small screen depending on your view mode, however it runs flawlessly and controller support is solid.
On first launch, the game ran in 4:3 in a corner of the screen. Changing the resolution to 1280x800 and switching the game to borderless windowed and then back to fullscreen fixed the issue.
Works almost out of the box. Runs at 60fps with default presets and features full controller support.
Works out-of-the-box. First launch of every table takes about 3 or 4 seconds to start, subsequent launches and in-game play not affected
It took a long time for Proton to run PinballFX 3 - but finally it works - without any problems.
Works out of the box with Proton 6.3-7
Works fine. Sometimes a small stutter on load but once cached, all good.
Works out of the box with the default Proton
There's a bit of stuttering on the first seconds of the first time playing a table (I guess it's the gaming loading shaders), but after that it's a smooth ride.
Works out of the box
Runs perfectly.
Runs on out the box on latest Proton.
Had problems with earlier versions of Proton but now works perfectly
Works great on latest Proton!

Pinball FX3 on Linux!! Windows purchase now unnecessary.
So psyched! I will NOT have to install Windows to play Pinball FX3.
I did notice a bit of a lag with the keyboard driven flippers. I'm going to try a steam controller to see if it improves.
If needed, I'll get a whole new system with 5 year newer hardware just for this one game ... now playable on Linux! Woohoo!

Install and play, no issues
Ultrawide not supported
Last time I tried it, this game didn't work at all with proton, but now it works perfectly.
Went from not working at all to working almost perfectly in the last few updates to proton.
When performing animations for the first time on some boards, there is stuttering, but then is smooth for the rest of the game.
Petardea un poco la primera vez que carga una mesa nueva, pero en cuestión de segundos va 100% perfecto.
Runs beautifully at max graphic settings.
Tested all 99 tables, every one worked well. There'll be some shader compilation stutter on first loads, but that passes quickly. Cabinet code needs to be re-entered on each launch (for the few users who have one).

Used Proton Experimental
works flawlessy
had to set borderless window, or it was stuck in a quarter of the screen, even changing resolution
it does connect online, but it seems I have to buy dlcs, as more or less you have to buy everything in game, but it worked

Works with Steam Beta and Proton Experimental
Worked perfectly by opt-in to Steam Beta and using Proton Experimental
Works with Vanilla Proton Experimental (based on Proton 6.3-4)
Pinball FX3 works with Vanilla Proton Experimental now.
La instalación usando Lutris (que indica requiere WINE) no da ningún problema y el juego abre perfecto
runs flawlessly on lutris
As long as you use steam in lutris this game will work with no problems. if you run it in linux steam the game will not start
