Had to revert to older Proton, there's still a DirectX issue on startup but game seems to run ok.

Regression - TA only launches if I force Proton versions 8.0.5 or older. Newer versions give a DirectX error
The game can run but only with older Proton versions. Even when it runs, switching to desktop and back with Alt-Tab gives a solid black screen, forcing me to close the game.
Works on Linux even better than on W11
Alt+tab out but when return the screen is blank. Need to restart game

(GOG version) Works good
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
No issues
I've played on GOG and Steam, both work well.

Crashes when alt tabbing out
TCP/IP Direct connect fails, Tried opening/forwarding the ports Still no luck. When selecting it does not allow to host a game for others to join Tried several Proton versions

A fantastic game for its time; runs well on linux overall, but saved games were the main troublesome area for me
once when I alt-tabbed out, I couldn't get it to draw again on refocus; couldn't reproduce this
slightly delayed mouse movement, noticeable mostly in the menus; some of the jankiness of the gameplay makes that not really matter I think
I can't seem to load a saved mission that I worked on for awhile

Everything runs OOTB, didn't notice any mouse input lag. Played 2 campaign missions and a 1 hour skirmish. Had some minor glitches with maps smaller than my desktop (ie, first campaign missions/tutorials)

played a 2V2 match against the ai. game ran without any issues. (fedora)

No tweaks, decent performance. Mouse acceleration seems laggy/slow

Works Perfectly.

Generally runs well, but seems to have a bit of mouse input delay which is a bit annoying.

Seems to work well.
