SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland %command%
Used a launch option to run the game without XWayland. (Typical user wouldnt be able to tell the difference so this isn't a tinker report)

Works fine with Proton. Native works but has a few issues that aren't present with Proton Experimental.
Native build has audio mixing issues and networking is borked (which is a pretty big problem considering that this game highly emphasises co-op).
Online multiplayer worked out of the box, never found any issues

Solid native game, no problems so far.
Worked flawlessly with my friend who plays on Windows 10.

-window -gl
You'll need to use -window. On this old system, I needed to force -gl
Game would crash after every cutscene on native and drop inputs if alt-tabbed, but Proton 8.0-5 seems to fix both of these problems

Game runs great natively on Flatpak version but has it's problems
Alt-Tabbing or clicking off the game would disable all input from my Xbox One Controller and keyboard either randomly or after a certain amount of time, however with a PS4 controller it seems to rarely happen
It crashes to desktop after every cutscene in the game
Game crashes at the end of every cutscene

seems all fine like this
Just 2 additional packages needed
This game did not work natively for me. I launched the start script manually and saw that libSDL2-2.0.so.0
and libopenal.so.1
were expected but not found (the output told me one by one).
I've installed lib32-sdl2
and lib32-openal
(Arch Linux) and since then it has run flawlessly. No need for extra tinkering.
Windows
Подробная инструкция, как запустить эту бета-версию по ссылке: https://pastebin.com/pbUYymRT
Disable Steam Input to make X360 controller work
Very rarely there's a small graphical slowdown; It quickly syncs back up with the audio thereafter.
Sometimes it wants to be naughty and crashes on startup. After ~3 tries to open it gives up and starts fine.
I was able to play online both as host and guest. (Only tried soccer and campaign)
Had an issue in Regular Campaign where the gems/yarn weren't getting synced between us (at least not for me). So it often gave a rating of C or B.
Everything works pretty fine with Steam Linux Runtime compat tool
Controllers not detected on regular Proton, had to force Experimental for it to work.
Force experimental if controller
Singleplayer works fine on Steam Deck with default settings. Will test multiplayer when I get the chance.
Played multiplayer with my windows friends perfectly. Used a wired controller and had no problems.
Plays flawlessly out of the box. No issues.

Native does not work on my laptop (presumably because I use an nvidia card). Proton GE does not work. Proton Experimental works great.
Common problem with Proton where the window sizing may not be in sync with the cursor input and the fullscreen always favours primary monitor.
the performance is noticeably slower on Proton than on Native.
Native version crashed, but Proton works without any problems!
Multiplayer works great!
native is borked, just use proton and everything will be fine
Native version does not start, but with proton the game runs perfectly
Native Linux version crashes instantly on launch. Forcing Proton 6.3.8 did work.
There is a hexedit fix on Steam community forums for Linux version but this stinks
It worked fine on windows, after I changed my operating system it was impossible to play
FPS drop
Native version does not launch. Used Proton 6.3-6. Everything works, including online play.

Doesn't start
The Native version is broken and doesn't start at all
My GPU doesn't support Vulkan.
There's an always present menu bar that can't be hidden. It also appears on fullscreen mode.
The Native version is broken and won't launch for most people including myself. Forcing the game to run via Proton made it work like a charm.
It's a very fun platformer, and it has an amazing level creator.
Works perfectly fine both on Native and Proton versions
Just install and press play, you'll have a great time.
The game is native to linux, but it doesn't start for me and most people. So I went into -property and checked "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". After that I selected a version of Proton and the game worked.
At the time of testing, Proton 5.13-2 was used.
game crashes at the end of cinematics, after boss battles

Immediately crashing after launching
Clicking play flashes game and game stops, activating "Play" button immediately. This takes time less than a second.

Controller only detected if connected before launching
Some rare random crashes but nothing major

As long as you fix the performance issues via enabling the beta, you should be able to enjoy this game
Xbox360 Controller wasn't detected for the game (could still bring up the steam overlay with the Xbox menu button).
To fix this, go to the Game's Settings, General Tab, and select "Forced On" for "Steam Input Per Game Setting". After a game restart, the game detected my controller properly.
Out of the box, the game dropped frames and wasn't smooth. Lowering the resolution only helped slightly.
To fix this, go to the Game's Settings, the Betas Tab, and enter "B3rVN72ktT2M5g" to unlock the "linuxtest" beta. Select this Beta to opt into on the same page. This fixed the performance issues.
To actually get the game to launch properly, go to the Game's Settings, General Tab, and check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". Select your Proton version you wish to use (I suggest the latest and greatest).
At the time of testing, Proton 4.11-11 was the latest, but you might have success with other versions.
