Works out of the box
Game works out of the box with the default Proton Version 9.0-4. No special options or other special configuration needed. Just had to have a bit patience at first start, that took a bit. After that I only set the in-game options to my preferences. Have played the entire first level (medical) and reached level 2 (research) without encountering problems. Only thing I found is that it is not possible to tab-out of the game in fullscreen, but I am not sure this is a linux issue since I did not check in Windows. Changed to borderless windowed mode and than that worked too.
Works perfectly fine

Works flawlessly
No tinkering needed from my side, just downloaded and it runs perfectly.

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=165 gamemoderun %command%
Runs like the Windows Version. Install on ext4, dosen't boot on ntfs

PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 gamemoderun %command%
On Debian, you must either append "-ngxdisable" to the command line to disable NVIDIA DLSS or you must install the package "libnvidia-ngx1" which is not included by default in the nvidia-driver metapackage.

PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 gamemoderun %command% -Ngxdisable
Something about NVIDIA DLSS prevents this from running, hanging with a black screen, unless you add -Ngxdisable after %command% to disable NVIDIA DLSS on the program level so that it will load.
Afterwards it works great.

No tinkering, runs like it would under Windows. Proton Experimental

Good performance and gamepad controls work well enough, but too much of the in-game text is virtually unreadable, even with magnification.
30 FPS cap in Deck settings
Target descriptions, Button icons, and inventory text

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
No way to change the resolustion from the max possible option, or from Windowed Borderless to Fullscreen or Windowed. It always goes back to Windowed Borderless which is slightly problematic as 32:9 is kind of bad in this game vertical FOV wise, with no real way of changing it. So I'm forced into 5120x1440.

Tdp set to 11

-Ngxdisable
My game would load into a black screen and never go anywhere until I added -Ngxdisable

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Might need to add the launch options above to enable DLSS

Runs as in Windows
No issues. Have about 30 hours in the game on Linux. Performance appears the same between both Windows and Linux.

Works very well out of the box
Occasional audio crackle
Plays well OOTB

Wayland
Absolutely Perfect

Game looks surprisingly nice and works out of the box with Proton 8.0, needs some tinkering in in-game settings.
Screen and resolution too small for certain texts (e.g. hints about buttons)
Some objects are pixelated, some are not regardless their usability.
Game drops from 60 to 35-45 FPS when attacking/hitting objects due to effects. Setting this to low doesn't help.

Runs out of the box
Runs as good as it does on Windows. Ran fine, all sliders right - no slowdowns, no overheating, no input lag. It's all good.

No issues at all.
Run perfect out of the box for me.

I can use "CONTINUE" option to continue saved game, but CAN'T LOAD a game.
Steam Overlay not working. I made a lot of reboots, also used option "-windowed". Not working. Can't see FPS or access to my notes.

While I'm using Gamescope and FSR to gain some extra performance, it is 100% playable out of the box.
gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -H 2560 -W 1440 --adaptive-sync -r 165 --rt -F fsr -f -- mangohud %command%
Gamescope is just to squeeze a tiny bit extra performance out and cap the framerate at 165. It get significant coil whine from my GPU without a framerate cap. This is one of the most problem-free games, that doesn't have official linux support, that I've had the pleasure of playing. Game is a solid 8/10, mostly because of the subpar writing. Gameplay is top notch, performance on Linux is great!

I enjoying without several issues. First time I play a game in Linux and it works perfectly at 100FPS.
Some blood at walls are reflecting textures. Not important thing.
Steam Cloud is not working since game release.
When an enemy appears or I kill, framerate drops and recovers.
Sometimes game don't starts and I need to "Force Quit" because a BLACK SCREEN.
)Other times Steam Overlay is not working and the best thing I can do is to restart the system and run the game again.
I never saw Nightdive cinematic at the begining. In Windows version I always see it.

The game has a very low draw distance. Enemies tend to phase into existance as they approach, which makes the game significantly harder to play.
This might be caused by the game itself using up too many resources, but I notice a high cpu load considering the relatively low graphical fidelity on System Shock. You would expect the game to be much less stressful for the GPU. I've also experienced some stuttering.
Stable performance. High graphics settings.

I it doesnt start with proton 8 for me When i switched proton 7 everything has worked

Didn't experience any issues running the game on GE 7-21, and performance was reasonable given my hardware. Windowing is well behaved on i3wm, and the game has been perfectly stable. No modifications or customizations were necessary.

The framerate drops every time you or an enemy hits something (melee or gun). Seems to be an issue with shader compilation? Not too sure. I briefly switched to a version of GE Proton with DXVK-async enabled to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. Not sure if there is a fix for this. Would recommend playing at a high framerate to make it less noticable.

PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=300 %command%
DLSS was not initially available but fixed via launch options.

Works great out of box
No issues.

Only black screen
Not working i only got black screen i tried Nvidia 5.25 and 5.35 drivers neither one worked

Works Great!
Not sure whose fault this is but I got a 'Fatal error' upon launch initially. I uninstalled flathub steam and moved to a native install and then everything worked beautifully out of the box. Perhaps I messed up something with my steam install or perhaps flathub steam has issues.
