Had trouble with how the display looked and took a while to figure things out. First issue was that HDR was on (as it should be for a game this beautiful), but Adaptive Brightness was enabled. Disabling that and maxing the Brightness make a big difference.
Kudos to my roommate, she figured out what was going on with the text. The option Dynamic Resolution Scaling was enabled, and it appears that it was trying to upscale/ downscale certain things like text, despite the game being configured to use the native resolution. Disabling that, most text is fine now and I don't feel like I'm getting eye strain when playing.
The Microsoft login only works with paying credentials via mouse. Neither virtual nor Bluetooth keyboards will work with it.
Disabled Adaptive Brightness and Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
Keyboards don't work on Microsoft login.

Use RenoDX HDR Fix with ReShade for more accurate HDR.
HDR is functional out-of-the-box, but it feels like SDR with saturation and contrast set to 300%.
Works out-of-the-box!

Worked out of the box
No tinkering needed

Game is playable start to finish with only some rare performance and graphical issues as of this writing.
30 FPS capped with medium graphics settings.
Game would rarely drop frames drastically (maybe down to 5-10 FPS) for about 5 seconds while playing. Does recover automatically right away.
The initial launch of the game takes about 2-3 minutes, but afterwards runs without issues.

gamemoderun %command%
Only when trying to play in 3840 x 2160. Could only run the game in windowed mode at that resolution. 2560 x 1440 and 1920 x 1080 worked just fine.
takes a little while to launch and install
-as long as you don't play in 4k this games runs flawlessly

The first Ori [The Blind Forest DE] doesn't put enough load on the 6600, so it clocks down too far, and the HDMI audio starts to crackle [squarely an amdgpu bug]. Using gamemoderun to set amd_performance_level=high works around this. Since it doesn't hurt, I applied it to this one as well, without checking whether it needs it.

Steam Deck auf 30 fps gestellt.
Beim ersten Start soll man sich mit seinem Microsoft-Account anmelden, aber muss man nicht. Danach fragt es nicht nochmal.
Der Start dauert sehr lange.

Game doesn't leave the initial loading screen.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Maybe my specs are just that bad, but I could run Ori and the Blind Forest without issues in the past. Well, maybe someday this could change, I suppose. The game does launch but it doesn't leave its initial loading screen.

Microsoft account login
On-screen keyboard not working for Microsoft account login
There is a way to get Microsoft account login working with this on Steam Deck, granting cross-save and cross-achievement with Xbox. It is rather cumbersome, however.
You will need an actual mouse (either Bluetooth or wired) connected to your Steam Deck.
Go into desktop mode, open a text editor and write down your Microsoft login and password. Then, copy the login.
Open Ori and switch the game to windowed mode in the settings. Then, open the Microsoft account login. Make sure you are now using mouse.
On the account username page, right click and paste the login you prevously copied.
Go copy your password from thr previoud text editor and do the same on the password screen.
The login will be saved and apply even in gaming mode.

Works out of the box on Intel Arc A770
Not a single glitch from start to finish. I played @ 4k with fps limiter set to 65

The hyper thread in the powertool of the plugin store must not be closed, as this is a lesson learned after two troubling resets that took several decades of hours for two months
It's a bit small
Everything works fine. In my eyes, Ori runs better on Proton, than some other native games. Crazy, how stable it is.

On GE/Experimental the game goes through the loading screen with Ori logo and an exclamation mark and then the game just closes. With Steam's Proton the game is stuck in a loading loop.
Inicia y funciona perfecto: Terminado al 100%,1080p, graficos(alta), control(xbox one/series), Proton=7.0-6
Frame Limit 40, Refresh Rate 40, Allow Tearing Enabled, TDP 10W, GPU Clock 700
The game runs smoothly at 60 frames per second on default settings on the High graphics configuration. To save battery life, I adjusted the refresh rate to 40 Hz. With a single charge, I was able to play for around 6 hours. It is worth noting that I did not encounter any stuttering or audio synchronization problems, and the game maintained a stable 40 frames per second, with the CPU and GPU temperatures remaining below 60 degrees Celsius.

Limit FPS to 40-45 for better battery life
Works flawlessly with minor hiccups on SDcard, but game needs to be set to medium details to run smoothly.
Limit FPS to 40
Very rarely terrain doesn't load if you load backup saves when game is on SD card, and when it loads, our cute little Ori most of the time will be stuck inside wall, terrain or out of bounds, which is quite amusing.

Slow startup

Proton GE 7-43

You MUST go into Betas and select patch2 - patch2 if you are looking to get good framerates out of this game
On occasion, I was experiencing crackling, until Windows Spatial Audio was disabled.
Extremely poor FPS, until the patch 2 beta was installed
Steam > Ori and the Will of the Wisps > Properties > Betas. Choose patch 2, install. Gets you from a widely varied 30-60 FPS all the way to 160+, even on this laptop.

gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Used gamemoderun in order to enable Feral GameMode. Works out of the box.
Launched this game for the first time a couple days ago fearing I'd have to tinker with Proton versions and optimized settings but, much to my surprise, it's working at a solid 60 fps hassle free. I assume a recent Steam Deck Proton update fixed it.
Game progress so far: 10%
Graphics settings: Balanced
Adaptative resolution: Disabled
Locked framerate to 30fps
Sometimes the game slows down more than it should for a couple seconds, nothing unplayable though
The game is unplayable unless you are on experimental. But when on experimental the game mostly runs with minimal issues.
Just opens a small window with an exclamation mark and a progress bar and then closes
Works flawlessly out the box
may as well be native
gamemoderun %command%
Played both on Linux and Windows. Launching the game is a bit long, loads are also longer than on Windows (HDD), but not a single issue to notice.
Played with proton ge 7-41 with no issues
Just need to wait about a minute for the startup loading screen to finish up. Once passed that it runs flawlessly.
Have fun! I have been!
The game takes longer than expected to start up, but once the game has launched, gameplay is smooth
I'm not sure why it's reported as "Unsupported" by Valve, because I have had no issues that would prevent me from playing the game. Aside from the slower-than-normal launch time, the game runs amazingly.
