Game runs well (but it is not a good game)
Worked perfectly

For the best performance possible, use the Proton version. This is a common theme for otherwise native apps.
Rare but noticeable freezes that last for less than a second. A custom launcher is also present which tends to respond to clicks without being the active window.

Bought from GOG

Your initial results may vary depending on your distro/DE.
The game starts up when using wayland but freezes/crashes soon after. As another user has mentioned this can be solved by switching to a Xorg session. I instead installed the Windows version and launched with Proton, which also worked flawlessly.
uma continuação para o super hot, talvez uma dlc fizesse o trabalho, mas ainda assim muito bom
Works natively

Works perfectly natively on every Linux hardware configuration I've had so far
I dislike how I'm seemingly unable to change the sensitivity because there doesn't appear to be obvious settings

mapped f1 to acess settings
5w, disabled smt and downclocked memory through powertools
Will launch a secondary window on launch
Works fine out of the box.
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Game launches but does not run in a wayland session. You can get to the initial menu if you ignore the "program is not responding" warnings but the game never loads.
Tinker report because some users will try to play in wayland. I also tried running it in proton 7.0-4 where the game failed to launch whatsoever. I did not investigate further as the native version worked perfectly for me in an X11 session.
unset LC_ALL && %command%
Had to use the launch parameter to fix
Parameter used to fix
Worked Out of the Box
also played fine in 1440p with mouse and kb
Just Like The Original, This Game Runs Flawlessly*
*I did have one experience where the framerate dropped significantly. This was after I switched workspaces to view something on my web browser. My best guess is the System76 scheduler was pulling resources from the game and giving them elsewhere and was just slow in returning them to the game or the game was slow to recover once it had those resources back. I did not experience this performance problem after that one event and I don't expect it to be an issue for most people.

Game will not launch with Proton or Native
When launching natively, it does not bring up the initial menu. When forcing it to use Proton 5.0-9, the initial menu launched but it was just a black screen

protontricks 690040 dotnet40

Won't work out of the box.

Game runs with over 140fps winetricks(protontricks) dodnet40 does not fix the launcher anymore. i used the tweaks mentioned before. Open game files, rename SHMCD.exe to SUPERHOTMCD.exe and rename SHMCD_Data to SUPERHOTMCD_Data and it starts.

game launcher doesn't work and the settings menu doesn't work

The game run at about 20 fps and has no way to move or move the mouse

The reason the launcher doesn't work is because it's a .NET application that depends on Windows Presentation Framework, which Mono doesn't implement, and Proton doesn't implement by default as a result. The solution is to install dotnet40 with Protontricks.
Game works perfectly, it's just the launcher that requires this tweak.

Game starts after deleting SUPERHOTMCD.exe and rename SHMCD.exe & SHMCD_Data to SUPERHOTMCD.exe & SUPERHOTMCD_Data..... But the game is unplayable for me because the enemies were invisible

After renaming SHMCD.exe to SUPERHOTMCD.exe and SHMCD_Data to SUPERHOTMCD_Data it works, but the mouse aim is a little off, and makes it difficult to play.

Game runs, but the launcher doesn't. Open game files, rename SHMCD.exe to SUPERHOTMCD.exe and rename SHMCD_Data to SUPERHOTMCD_Data and it starts.

Would not launch without any tweaks.
