Use Proton as native version shows red and green screens on launch
Did not get controller issues mentioned in earlier reports. Worked well with Xbox Elite v2 controller connected via 8bitdo USB Wireless Adapter. Shows up in Steam as an Xbox 360 controller, so maybe that helped. Also tried launching the game normally and inside Big Picture Mode.
Game took a few tries to start and when it did, was able to run the game on high with the PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% and a PS4 controller. I am marking this down due to the issues in launching the game and mouse movement causing minor shuddering and drop in FPS while a controller with gyro was fine.
Requires tweaks, but if you are fine with the graphical issues, then it is an average shooter. I got it for $2 on a Steam sale.
Texture quality wasn't great and sometimes doors and walls would be black and untextured.
This may affect Windows as well, but there was noticeable stutter when entering an area and may be due to default texture streaming. I had to find a Windows PC and remove texture streaming as detailed at https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alien_Rage_-_Unlimited#Remove_Texture_Streaming
Game did crash once or twice in the hour playthrough.
I used the tinker guide from AwesamLinux to generate this SteamPlay report.
This is the GOG version with optional, but HIGHLY recommended resolution fix at https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1549-anachronox/ and only had to replace two files in the install directory. After doing this and starting the game, change Video settings to Hi-Res mode.
Playable but can be choppy
Game will have random performance hiccups on standard Proton, Experimental, or GE. Not sure if this is in Windows as well as I have not tested there.
If you have performance issues, try with or without vsync and Proton GE and see if that helps
gamemoderun %command% -novid -high +fps_max 0
Proton GE is based on Proton Experimental, which has EAC support
If you have issues with game launching, try to disable MangoHud.
Sometimes in menus or main hub area, there will be a temporary framerate drop. Not sure if this is due to DirectX 12 or in the native Windows version as well. Gameplay is solid.
Tried both DirectX 11 and 12 modes and both worked about the same. Maybe DX12 gave more frames given my hardware. I also tried FSR 1.0 and both the Quality and Ultra Quality modes gave huge framerates at 3440x1440 at 144hz. Proton 7.0-4 worked well too, but went with GE with the newer DXVK and VKD3D code for running DirectX 12.
Really fun game that runs well in Proton majority of the time
In some outdoor areas (rocket area), the frame rate would drop
The game will crash randomly. I pressed F6 to quick save before big parts.
On my system, ran at 144 fps on Ultra at 3440x1440. The majority of the game ran smoothly and I did not try the native version. I also did not use any command arguments in Steam.
Started in native DirectX 11 mode, but switched to Vulkan in the Options and set to max settings. Did not test DX11 or OpenGL 3.2 mode, but Vulkan ran flawelessly.
Works best with DirectX 12 option
Game crashed once or twice, but could be an issue in Windows too
When launching the game, there is a "Play Bright Memory: Infinite" option which runs in DirectX 11, but I noticed some visual artifacts with the graphics. If you go with the DirectX 12 option (it says ray tracing), it runs very well. I beat the game and it only crashed once or twice and the framerate was always at 144 with FSR 2 Quality.
Did not load menu with winecfg and mf-install tweaks
I tried all of these steps based on what previous reports said to do with no success:
Install game and run once to create compatdata directory. Game will crash.
run 'WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/501590/pfx/ winecfg' and change to Windows XP (crashed with this and 7)
git clone https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install.git && cd mf-install
run 'WINEPREFIX=/home/brian/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/501590/pfx/ ./mf-install.sh'
Did not have -nostartup movies as a launch option and the game would load the startup movies and crash when going to the main menu.
Multiplayer will either not load and if it does, runs at 5 fps. Not advised.
Multiplayer has major issues and broken with the current Proton/Proton GE
With standard Proton, there was initial stuttering in new levels. Went away.
Multiplayer will either not load and if it does, runs at 5 fps. Not advised.
Prior report had me try Proton-GE-6.10-1, but I couldn't get it to load as it gave a black screen upon loading. GloriousEggroll's "hotfix" for this release may have broken the game. Reverting to Proton-6.9-GE-2 worked.
Uses DirectX 12 and Proton 7.0-5 crashes due to older DX12 libraries. The Steam Deck recommends Experimental for now, so if newer versions of Proton (like v8 and above) work fine, you can always test that. The most recent GE-Proton (7-47) also works the same as Experiemental due to newer vkd3d-proton.
Works as it should with default Proton
Previous Proton versions had issues with saves, but I was able to play Bloodlines using the save and load options.
Runs well without any additional tweaks at High/Medium settings at 1440p
When using a Dual Shock 4 controller, it crashed once or twice when trying to start a game with X before I allowed the menu to load. Had to use keyboard.
Used DS4 with gyro enabled (bound to L2 soft press) and really helped with the aim. The game also lets you switch to PlayStation button mappings.
Wouldn't load native version or via Steam Linux Runtime. Had to use Proton.
Text would be distored in some areas of the options. Nothing big.
If you have an ultrawide monitor, game is zoomed in too much, but I assume this was the case on Windows as well. Choose a resolution in the 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio instead.
Proton version offers more resolution options than native or Steam Linux Runtime

In a previous report, I had an issue with running the native version which was later resolved after restarting Steam. With that in mind, if you play at 1080p, the native port is fine. If you go above or use an ultrawide, more resolution options show up in Proton. Like in Windows, it helps to add the commands fps_max "999" and fps_override "1" to an autoexec.cfg to get better performance with or without vsync.
RADV_PERFTEST=nggc,sam,rt VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr,pipeline_library_app_cache VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 %command%
Game starts at 144 fps then after a map change, goes down to 40 fps. VRAM fills up instantly when playing the game. Have tried low/medium settings and still happens with FSR 2 Performance mode and ray tracing turned off.
The game runs and looks well when playing the first map. Once you finish a map and return back to the menus and start a new map, game becomes unplayable. CPU goes up to 99% and VRAM is using up the full 16 GB and framerate drops to 30-40 fps when 144 before.
I have tried various RADV and VKD3D tweaks but the results are the same. If you really want to play this on Linux, you will have to quit the game and restart it after each map. If you are sick of the performance and are dual booting, you may have to play on Windows.
Performance should not be this bad with a Ryzen 5800x, Radeon 6900XT, and 32 GB of RAM.
This is for the Kex engine re-release during QuakeCon 2024
Amazing and fast paced!
Ran great out of the box with the default Proton 9 for single and multiplayer. Graphics API defaults to Vulkan and worked in Borderless and Fullscreen modes. Constantly runs at 144+ fps on my system, but that is expected. :-)
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Trying to quit the game locks the screen. Have to force quit the game in Steam or task manager.
Game runs well with my ultrawide (3440x1440) at 144hz with the aspect ratio set to auto. PCGamingWiki reports that setting the refresh rate to 60hz may fix some issues, but I haven't had any yet in my gameplay.
Does not load with latest Proton and GE versions
Individual games crash on cutscenes with Proton 5.0-9, Proton-5.9-GE-5-ST, and Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF
When installing the GOG version of the game, I had better success with using Proton to install it in Gamehub instead of the Innoextract default. Prior reports suggested the Large Address Aware flag, but I only noticed a few framerate bumps with it enabled.
Runs great with current Proton
Was able to get 144 fps at 3440x1440 at high settings. Did not try native version, but I heard that Proton is a better experience.
Ran perfectly out of the box with no tweaks or command line arguments and maintained 144+ FPS at 1440p on my 144Hz FreeSync enabled monitor at max settings!
Demo worked with Proton 8.0.2
No issues with controls or cutscenes either. Could change in the final version as this was the free demo.

Proton-6.10-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Game works well with gamepad or fight stick. Sometimes in the menus you have to use a mouse to click on the UI
Game performed very well. In some levels, there was a rare minor slowdown or pause
Unity engine game. Not sure if the rare slowdown or input quirks are part of the base game or related to Proton. Does run really well and was able to beat the Story mode once without issues.
Used Proton-GE, but didn't try standard Proton or Proton Experimental. Runs at a steady 60 fps at Medium (1280x720) and didn't try higher settings.
If you change to Fullscreen, the next time you start the game, it will be stuck and you will have to kill the process. If you leave in Borderless Windowed mode, it wil start every time but white borders around the edge of screen.
If you do enable Fullscreen and the game gets stuck, you will need to edit user_settings.config and set fullscreen to false. File located at
~/.steam/steamapps/compatdata/553850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application Data/Arrowhead/Helldivers2
Game runs well at a decent framerate. Also tried DualSense and Xbox controllers and DualSense had adaptive triggers and gyro if disabling Steam Input for DualSense. Otherwise, fun game as long as you do NOT enable Fullscreen.
Game will not start with empty launch arguments, PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%", PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%", or a combination of PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%"
Does not work with Proton, so use native version without controller
After trying the latest Proton and Proton-GE, I got a black screen at the main menu and had to force quit the game.
If using the native version, I could not get any controllers to work (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Steam Controller) and had to use a mouse and keyboard to play. If you can play the game with a KB+Mouse, then this will work fine. If not, you may have to play on Windows.
Native and Proton versions work well
This is a native game, but if you need to use Proton in the future due to outdated libraries, performance is the same. By default, the Steam Deck will use native.
Playable, but has performance issues like in Windows
Some textures were muddied and not fully loaded
Occasionally the game will stutter and framerate will drop in populated areas and firefights
Game is not meant for ultrawide, so using 3440x1440 will have flickering on the side in fullscreen. Change resolution to 2560x1080 will avoid flickering and a proper aspect ratio without stretching. 2560x1440 is NOT good as the game looks stretched.
If using fullscreen on an ultrawide, choose a resolution that ends with a height of 1080 if possible. For my 3440x1440 resolution, I chose 2560x1080 as the picture did not stretch. Using my native resolution also introduced flickering on the left and ride side of the screen. If not using fullscreen, using the native resolution should also work without stretching and flickering.
Great native version with great support for Xbox controllers and local play!
Proton-5.9-GE-6-ST GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.9-GE-6-ST
Played only single player matches. Did not try standard Proton, so results may very. Go with the latest Proton-GE if you can.
Plays well, but look into performance tweaks and put in autoexec.cfg
Even though this is a Proton report, you will be playing the native version. For improved compatibility, follow these steps:
- Right click the game and click "Properties"
- Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
- Select "Steam Linux Runtime" in the drop down.
This will include the necessary 32-bit libraries, where otherwise you may have needed to manually install on your system.
Native version runs fine
Game may show up as unsupported by Valve, so set to Steam Linux Runtime as a compatibility tool if needed
Don't use native, go with Proton instead
Max settings at 100+ fps at 3440x1440 with an Xbox Elite controller. Great experience!
-dx12
Played in desktop mode as I was able to see and interact with the 2K Launcher. In Big Picture, I did not see the launcher. This could change in the future.
Ran well between 120-144 FPS on High settings at 3440x1440 with Adaptive Sync enabled in KDE 5.27 settings for Debian 12.
Other reports disabled the 2K Launcher, but I did not as the launcher would close afterwards. Had no issues plalying with an Xbox controller either. Enabling DirectX 12 allows the user to have FSR 2 available along with Ray Tracing and HDR options.
I used Proton Experimental instead of Proton 8.0-4 due to the newer vkd3d-proton which has RT and HDR enabled by default for AMD GPUs. When Proton 8.0-5 or Proton 9 is released, you can use those as the default.
Runs at 100+ FPS at 1440p at High settings
Previous reports recommended vkBasalt so I installed it in Pop/Ubuntu and then enabling it in the Steam launch options. When setting up the game, I did High for everything and did Auto for SSAA which set it to 0.5x. Without vkBasalt, the game looked blurrier, but I cannot 100% verify that. It is up to you if the game looks better with it.
Install vkBasalt in the terminal:
sudo apt install vkbasalt
Enable in Steam launch options:
ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 %command%
If you play with a keyboard, then you are fine. Press Alt+Enter for fullscreen.
Did not detect Xbox One or PS4 controller inputs. Tried natively through Bluetooth pairing and also the 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter. Did try on Windows 10 and the controllers were detected and fully usable.
I didn't start playing until the ver1.14s version with Proton 5.13.1 and was able to run the game. Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST crashed on Play button.
Proton-5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.21-GE-1
For the time being, use Proton GE to be able to use and customize controls in Steam without external software. Other than that, game runs very well!
Proton-6.1-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Story mode and cinematics do not work
Launch the game in DirectX 11 mode as DirectX 12 will not start. If you avoid the Story mode, you will have a good experience in playing locally against the CPU or a friend. Was able to use a fight stick I setup in Steam.
Ran perfectly out of the box with no tweaks or command line arguments and maintained 60 FPS at 1440p on my 144Hz FreeSync enabled monitor at max settings with 144 FPS during cutscenes. Tried PROTON_USE_D9VK=1, but the game ran the same.
Stuck at black screen when loading even with PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% set in the launch options. Game did not even start with PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 removed.
When starting the game, it will run an autoconfig. You can also do this manually in the options and even with the autoconfig, it will run a stable 60 fps.
If you don't have Proton GE, boot into Desktop mode, quit Steam manually, and open up Discover. After that, search for ProtonUp-Qt and install the Flatpak. Once installed, run and go into the Proton-GE dropdown and install the latest version.
When you go into Steam (in the desktop or main interface), go into the Properties for the game and manually set the Proton version to the Proton GE you installed.
Didn't detect 21:9 resolution (3440x1440) so had to edit ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata/146582/761600/remote/PCConfig.dat
Newer Proton and Proton GE will crash on New Game, so had to use an older version of Proton-GE to start the game and play cutscenes. Will have to install manually from GitHub or ProtonUp.
Game has a fullscreen option, but 16:9 will stretch backgrounds and zoom in. Setting aspect ratio to 4:3 will look better for purists. Xbox controllers worked fine too.
Didn't detect 21:9 resolution (3440x1440) so had to edit PCConfig.dat in ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata/(your user id)/761600/remote/ directory.
Newer Proton and Proton-GE will crash on New Game, so I had to use an older version of Proton-GE to start the game and play cutscenes. Will have to install manually from GitHub (https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/5.4-GE-3) or ProtonUp.
Game has a fullscreen option, but 16:9 will stretch backgrounds and zoom in. Setting aspect ratio to 4:3 will look better for purists. Xbox controllers worked fine too.
If I enable any sort of anti-aliasing, the game will be stuck at a black screen. Other than that, runs well at 1440p with the open source AMD drivers. May not perform as well as the native or Windows versions, but I have not tested those.
Changed to 8w in performance to save battery based on another report
Had to bind spacebar, enter, and ESC to the back paddles to get into the main game. Also bound the right trackpad to mouse. Took the official gamepad setting and modified. After I was able to get into the options, I had to click Default for the controls which enabled all of the buttons. As others have mentioned, has to be done every time the game starts.
Newer Proton will have a debug message stuck on the screen. I went with the version of Proton GE that matched version 5.13 of Proton as previous reports had success with 5.13.
If you use Proton 5.13, the game should work. If you want to use Proton GE:
- Press power and boot into desktop mode
- Quit Steam running in the background
- Go to Discover and search for ProtonUp-Qt
- If Steam folder is detected, select Proton-5.4-GE-3 from dropdown and install
- If not detected, quit ProtonUp-Qt and create a
compatibilitytools.d
folder in/home/deck/.steam/steam/
- Restart ProtonUp-Qt and if now detected, install Proton-5.4-GE-3
- Click Return to Gaming Mode
- Under the Properties for game, select Proton-5.4-GE-3
Quake II Remastered works with default Proton 8.0-3
Joined a couple of matches no problem
Did not try the original Quake II versions and only the new remastered one. I did not enable anti aliasing (as mentioned by others) and game ran full speed. Great port!
Game crashed a couple of times (without warning and assertion error) with 8.0-3 and Experimental. Experimental as of 2023-10-01 was supposed to help with random crashes.
I didn't use ray tracing due to bad performance with AMD Radeon 6000 GPU, but newer GPUs should fix this. Used Experimental, but could run just as well with 8.0-4. I did use these command line options for AMD GPU:
RADV_PERFTEST=sam,rt VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 %command%
Game probably runs fine wtihout the "sam" flag and when newer Mesa comes out, you will not need the "rt", "dxr", and "VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2" flags.
Proton-6.16-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton-6.16-GE-1
I also ran the game with gamemode as a launch option and it was consistently over 60+ fps at max settings using the in-game Variable refresh rate. Using TAA for antialiasing can make the game blurry so used vkBasalt as well to sharpen the graphics. Finally, the in-game movies will play with GE and did not try standard Proton.
Ran out of the box with keyboard and controller. Used 8bitdo USB wireless adapter which registers as an Xbox 360 controller.
GOG version works great after mf-install, but did not test Steam version. I assume the experience would be the same.
For the GOG version installed in GameHub, I had to run these commands with git already installed through Ubuntu. I also have Steam installed with the latest Proton, but not 100% if that helped or not. Substitute XXXX in the terminal commands below with your current user.
git clone https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install.git && cd mf-install
then
WINEPREFIX="/home/XXXX/Games/GOG/River_City_Girls/_gamehub/compat/proton_latest/pfx" ./mf-install.sh
This was the GOG version installed via GameHub. Used Proton to install the game and not InnoExtract.
Default Proton works fine
Can also use Experimental or GE-Proton if game has issues in the future
Screen is white and cannot proceed
Used standard Proton (6.3-6) and Proton GE (6.16-GE-1) and neither worked in showing the main menu. I could hear the main audio and my controller working, but had to force the game to exit.
-nointro
Proton releases after 5.13 wouldn't launch the game, but recent Experimental releases of Proton work. GE-Proton (through ProtonUp-Qt or https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases) also work as GE follows the Experimental branch with additional tweaks for video and specific games.
This is a Deck report, but desktop Linux (Pop!_OS 22.04) had the same results.
Both standard Proton and Proton-6.21-GE-1 didn't run this game well. A very unoptimized game overall.
With the low frame rate, character kept walking even after keyboard buttons were no longer pressed. Button mapping wasn't good for Xbox controller, but was also terrible in Windows.
Terrible frame rate that ranged from 15-30 FPS. Was 60+ on Windows.
Used the uncensored GOG version with GameHub and worked out of the box without any tweaks. Great experience!
Works with Proton 7.0-4 and GE-Proton7-35
There is an initial loading window to install additional dependencies, but you can touch the screen to get around them. In the future, it will still show a blue screen and load fine.
Both standard Proton and GE-Proton work the same. Proton GE has a tweak to set the initial resolution to 1280x720, but that shouldn't affect the Deck. If you do run into an issue, try GE.
Runs great with default Proton
Locked framerate to 30 fps and 6w for power in the Steam profile settings.
30fps + 6w tweak was only for battery life
Upon launch, it will warn about Easy Anti-Cheat and then after you press OK, it will show a loading screen and go to black screen. Had to Shift+Tab to bring up Steam Overlay and Force Quit. This is version 1.0.10 of the game.
Works great out of the box!
Tried the mainline SF games along with Alpha 1/2/3 with no issues!
Was able to join matches and play. Some internet lag, but not related to Proton.
Proton Experimental is currently recommendeded for Steam Deck and desktop gaming. Tried keyboard and also Xbox style gamepad without issues.
Works well with default Proton and various controllers (SteamOS 3.4)
If playing the first time, you have to create an ID which requires an external keyboard OR having to use the Steam button + X to bring up a keyboard.
Ran with Max settings. The 8BitDo Ultimate Wireless 2.4G and NEOGEO Arcade Stick Pro worked out of the box. On the Arcade Stick Pro, setting the switch on the side to 2 will register it as an Xbox 360 controller.
Game runs fine with unlimited framerate and vsync enabled at 1440p/144hz with a constant 60+ FPS at max settings
First couple minutes of a new game has framerate stuttering, but goes away due to shader caching on initial play. Stuttering issues did not return when quitting the game and starting again. Future game launches were fine.
I also noticed that the motion blur was not as smooth as Windows if making quick camera turns with the gamepad stick.
Other users had gamepad issues, but I had none with a Steam Controller (wired/wireless) and a wired Xbox One controller. Did not try Xbox 360.
Runs great!
Ran at 250 FPS at 1440p and had no issues connecting to matches and playing.
Did not recognize Xbox Controller and couldn't get past language
When an Xbox controller is plugged in, the game will not register inputs. If a keyboard is plugged in, I am able to press Space to change the language. Beyond that, I cannot click OK to proceed with the mouse, tabbing to the button, or with controller. Also wouldn't launch with Proton GE 6.16-1.
This is the GOG version in GameHub, which worked perfectly without any tweaks. Installed with Proton and not InnoExtract.
Standard Proton wouldn't load the videos, so use a version of Proton-GE. I used Proton-6.21-GE-2.
Game runs well, minus the annoyance with texture loading
Whenever loading a new area, the textures will not load initially. If you pause the game, then unpause, the textures will be available for that area. If the textures do not load, they may eventually load them when moving around. Setting a cache path via +fs_cachepath command didn't help either.
I did not experience controller issues with the standard Proton 5.13, but if I used Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST, it would not detect my Playstation 4 or Xbox One controller. Will have to test GE when a newer version based on Proton 5.13 is released.
Other guides say to use +r_swapinterval 0
as a launch option, but I didn't notice a difference when setting 60 FPS + Vsync in the game options.
Works well with Proton 7.0-5
Some people may complain about the audio pops, but I believe it is part of the grindhouse style of the game.
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2020/06/with-ea-back-on-steam-you-can-play-titanfall-2-on-linux-with-steam-play recommends to chmod a directory, but I didn't notice any difference leaving the folder alone. Played 6+ hours of multiplayer and some single player. Turned off vsync and dynamic resolution on my 144hz monitor.
Also had Gamemode installed via the Ubuntu repos which made the launch command be gamemoderun %command%
but I'm sure it works fine without.
Works great with Proton 8.0-3
Previous reports had issues with no audio playing in the intro movie. I was able to get full sound during that time. No performance, video, or sound issues. Worked well!
Runs around 100 FPS on max settings with 8x AA and 150+ FPS with no AA.
gamemodeun %command%
Game has EAC and latest Proton GE supports it
Other reports used Proton Experimental, but I wanted to do a report for GE. Runs very well at max settings at 3440x1440 (21:9 ultrawide) and had no issues joining games with EAC.
This is the GOG version running under GameHub with no tweaks
As mentioned before, pressing F9 would save the majority of the time but sometimes would lock up. I would recommend saving often.
Sometimes when loading an area or doing quick save with F9, the game would lock up. Had to reload a prior save.
Once quitting, had to kill vampire.exe
in System Monitor or running pkill vampire.exe
as the game process runs upon quitting the game.
Unlike Steam, the game comes with 10.2 of the Unofficial Patch. Did not have any issues installing and playing with Proton, even with newer versions of UP (10.6) existing.
Ran perfectly at 60+ FPS with max settings at 1440p
I used the ACO compiler and gamemode launch options, but the game should even run great without them. Others reported frequent crashes, but I did not get a single one.
Worked well with Xbox Elite 2 controller, did not try with mouse and keybaord. On my 3440x1440 monitor, I had to play the game under 2560x1440 under the 16:9 option. I assume this is the same on Windows where ultrawide does not properly scale and looks better at 16:9.
Other than that, ran at 144 fps constantly!
Did not need additional launch options and even with the launcher looking weird, the game runs great with the latest AMD Mesa drivers. Some people mentioned texture issues, but did not get them. I even played a few multiplayer matches with another guy on a Windows machine!
Runs and plays well with Xbox gamepad or keyboard/mouse
Runs great without tweaks. If you have an ultrawide monitor, you will need to edit an .ini file and PCGamingWiki.com has the config.
Controls well with default Gamepad configuration
First time launch requires secondary configuration window. Had to boot into Desktop mode on the Deck, but after that, can launch directly into the game in Gaming or Desktop modes. Future configuration of the game uses the same configuration window.
