why is this rated gold when it runs perfectly?
I encountered graphical glitches once, but reloading the game corrected them.
If windowed, the mouse cursor needs to be in the game's window in order for the controller to work.
Prevents crashes and character disappearing when taking damage.
Game dims as if you've clicked outside the window when taking a screenshot.

For the time being, use Proton GE to be able to use and customize controls in Steam without external software. Other than that, game runs very well!
If you play with a keyboard, then you are fine. Press Alt+Enter for fullscreen.
Did not detect Xbox One or PS4 controller inputs. Tried natively through Bluetooth pairing and also the 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter. Did try on Windows 10 and the controllers were detected and fully usable.
I didn't start playing until the ver1.14s version with Proton 5.13.1 and was able to run the game. Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST crashed on Play button.
Cannot Launch - _mbscmp_l
The error on attempting to launch is: "unimplemented function api-ms-win-crt-multibyte-l1-1-0._mbscmp_l called in 32-bit code". This file appears to be in the proton drive, so I'm not sure what's wrong.
