Worked out of the box
When launching the game, the steam client semi crashed: The window disappeared + Ubuntu said that there is a problem (did not investigate it further, though). This did not seem to have any impact. Only thing is that i had to close steam via the taskbar icon and start it again to launch other games. I had that with other games, too, though. In general: I did not have any significant issue.

E.g. The hidden status is rather small, should be able to scale HUD.

Every single time you try and load a save it will hard lock your whole system up forcing a reboot

Runs flawlessly on proton, no complaints!
Running with gamemoderun just shows a black screen for about a minute and then crashes; running with -force-vulkan triggers a Unity crash.
gamemoderun OR -force-vulkan

Works like a charm, no tinkering required
Managed to play through all levels available at Early Access launch and haven't had any troubles.

ran the way i expected it to run, other than minor slowdown when saving.
framerate tanks for a second or two when quicksaving, but it could just be an early access bug.

Massive pauses/hangs during combat and in open areas with things happening. Makes combat unplayable.
Worked Instantly

Overall 90fps, but when enemies spawn, there are significant stutters that make the game unplayable

The game plays great overall
zero tinkering, stable 165fps on pc

Completed the first episode without any issues.

As this game is very new and in early access, it's not too well optimized and gets lower frames than you'd expect. Proton GE helps with this.
The game occasionally freezes when clicking something with an E key popup, likely an Early access issue.
All issues will likely be fixed with time.

Cutscene and menus worked fine until i tried booting up a level, it was stuck on the end of the loading screen.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %COMMAND%
Game freezes on the end of the loading screen.

In the games control settings, you have to rebind the right mouse button.
You have to rebind the right mouse button, or else you (for some reason) cannot throw objects, and right clicking (blocking) will get you "stuck" in blocking and you can't interact with anything. Rebinding the "block" key (right mouse) to anything, including just right mouse again, will fix this. You have to do this everytime the game starts.
Flawless otherwise. Audio, saved games, fullscreening and no graphical errors or control issues aside from the one listed above.

Shadows seem bugged sometimes

I was able to launch the game and load into a level but it stuttered so much when enemies appeared it made the game completely unplayable
Stuttering
Tested on 512GB LCD Steam Deck with CryoUtilities installed
Game opens a window and makes some laggy sounds, but it immediately crashes, also crashing Steam for some reason

-force-vulkan
The delay from frames was pretty big. I fixed it by disabling the Steam overlay and switching to Proton 8
To fix it: 1. Disable the Steam Overlay, 2. Switch to Proton 8, 3. set "-force-vulkan" in the launch options in Steam

compatibility issues? fugget about it
new blood never misses.

gamemoderun
Game runs perfectly out of the box using the latest stable proton. I did notice some minor issues with texture depth but I am unsure if that is a bug with the game or a bug with proton.

-force-gles20
As of now the game does not work on Linux/SD, all though they did say that they are working on fixes and are trying to get steam deck verified so this may change in the future. There are tweaks & launch options that people recommended but they didnt work for me.
Player can get stuck in the block stance, can be averted by rebinding RMB.

Game boots up but once you get past the menus, opening cutscenes and the first loading screen it immediately crashes the entire steam deck. Black screen and no steam overlay, can't seem to do anything.

Will crash the entire Steam Deck when using any of Valves official Proton versions, runs using GE but with a lot of stuttering
Heavy frame drops

Game Runs perfectly
No bug or glitches. Performance is great. Proton 9.0

-force-vulkan
just have to force running vulcan and it works as it should
Tried the demo, everything worked out of the box

Ran perfectly fine out of the box.
Demo worked with Proton 8.0.2
No issues with controls or cutscenes either. Could change in the final version as this was the free demo.

6.18-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Glorious Eggroll for FMV cutscenes
I do not know what was causing the earlier crashes, but game runs smoothly now. I assume it was something on my end. Load times may be longer than they are on native; can't test atm.
if the game crashes try adding either "-force-glcore" or "-force-vulkan" to the game's launch options
Game crashes after epilogue movie
Tried Proton Experimental and GE 6.16

Extremely addictive gameplay
No option for checkpoint saves
I had to use ALT+TAB to continue after Loading appears
black screen and freeze after press play

The game itself runs incredibly well, even on my low end PC. Cutscenes are missing and occasional freezing/audio stuttering
Occasional freezing, especially the audio
Cutscenes missing

Crashing makes playing through the demo impossible (probably will be solved by full release)
Will crash on entering a level loading screen (such as from the front door of Moth & Flame)
Will require MF for videos to work, any recent Glorious Eggroll release seems to work fine
