Game starts -> black screen -> back to desktop. Tried different settings. PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 WINEESYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1. Many failed library loading messages and EasyAntiCheat & PhysX failure in the log file.
As someone mentioned before, I needed also to rename "AoK HD.exe" to "Launcher.exe" and on the first start I stucked at "validation subscription". After that the game runs flawlessly. Text boxes are a little bit flickering.
Used Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST - https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom
Runs perfectly after applying the 2 workarounds for DX9 (mentioned before from others). Played serveral hours on high settings.
As someone mentioned before, it needs protontricks for working sound. Besides that it runs flawlessly.
Renamed BorderlandsGOTY.exe to Launcher.exe. Set unlimited FPS in the video settings -> Runs flawlessly.
LAUNCH OPTIONS: -adapter 1
As with many others, D4 started with the iGPU, which only resulted in a grey window that then closed by itself. Once I set the launch option, all went well.
Game not starting at all. Tried: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 WINEESYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1
Runs out of the box. High settings 30-40 fps. Sometimes there is a little stuttering - lag - in the open world which I don't have in Windows 10.
Works out of the box.
In widescreen resolution text is hard to read, 16:9 works fine.
Technically with the tweaks flawlessly, but as others mentioned before no progression possible.
In window mode it works very well.
Could not use buttons on the right side in full screen. It worked all in window mode when it is a little bit smaller then the display resolution.
Problem with full screen happend wiht native version and also with Proton Experimental and Proton GE. Games works fine for me and is enjoyable in window mode.
Runs great with the mentioned script. - https://steamcommunity.com/app/244160/discussions/0/2727382174641131600
-screen-fullscreen 0
Without the launch option I only got a black screen with artifacts from Steam Overlay.
Crashes on map loading and sometimes on game start. Window for bug report opens.
Works out of the box. No launcher config anymore needed. No crash in about 2 hours.
Works great right out of the box...
I've had a few sessions where Vulkan caused the game to crash, so I switched it over to DirectX.
Sandbox Demo works fine.
Can't say anything about story mode, only a short sandbox is available in the demo.
Game is freezing when I click on the building roads button.
I tried Steam default proton, experimental and GE-Proton8-25. Always the same freeze.
Game not starting. "Unable to launch game..."
The error seems to come from the Rockstar Games Launcher. I have tried different versions of Proton, including experimental and 9.0.4.
The installation went well and the first time I started it, the Rockstar Games Launcher was installed. After that it processes the Vullkan shaders and then I see that the Rockstar Game Launcher connects to a server, updates the launcher and then nothing - game stopped. On a second or subsequent launch, I just get this message: "Error - Unable to launch game, please try reinstalling the game."
Works out of the box flawlessly. Only tested Singleplayer.
Game runs out of the box.
Game crashed when I changed Antialiasing from TAA to MSAA or Shadow Quality from Medium to High.
Game not starting. Tried different settings: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 WINEESYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1
As someone mentioned before, works fine with Windows 7 compatibility mode (open in steam the properties of the game, you can choose the w7 mode in the beta tab).
Campaign & Tutorial not playable
Games crashed in the prologue of the campaign. Sandbox maybe works fine.
Native Version is crashing when loading Campaing and with default Proton it isn't even starting.
Since the nvidia driver update 450 the game crashed at the login screen. With forcing proton 5.0.10 and setting the launch option "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" it works fine again.
Besides Origin, the game works out of the box
After the first origin login it crashed and I needed to restart the game.
Runs out of the box. Little issue - some monsters are invisible - without texture. Played on high settings avg fps 30.
I needed to start the game a few times and I disabled the uplay overlay. Runs almost flawlessly.
Works fine after enabled ""Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" in the steam game settings.
