Some brief lag
PROTON_NO_D3D10=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 prime-run %command%
PROTON_NO_D3D10=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun nvidia-offload %command%
Not responding when exit the game through main menu, need to force quit

Works great with no tweaks - plays exactly like on Windows, no issues at all.
Worked right out of the box

Frame Rate Drops are very nasty
With the frame drops my mouse would slow down as well
FPS Drops before switching to GE
Follow the Proton GE instructions given by others here on ProtonDB and you should be fine. The Frame Drops suck and if you want to fix that, this should be good.
Works out of the box

mangohud gamemoderun gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -r 60 -o 30 %command%
I've experienced this on Windows as well, so it seems to be an issue inherent to the game.
FPS fluctuates between 41-60FPS. Doesn't stay at a constant ~60FPS.
Online multiplayer worked perfectly without any issues.
The specified launch options are not required to play the game. I just typically use them for all my games.

there is no normal gamepad support in game. you need to change the trackpads to mouse control
devs needs to add full gamepad support

Occasional slowdown and lag after running for a few hours, fixed by restarting

works fine with >8GB system memory
fps drops at the world dragon sometimes
It ran fine on my computer, my only complant is that it is a real RAM hog and took up like 8.7 gigabytes of system memory at peek acording to KDE Plasma's system monitor so If you only have 8 gigabytes or less of system memory I can imagine that this game will run slower than molasses on your computer.
Switch to Wayland if you are on Ubuntu to fix screen tearing
Slight frame drops on busy areas
I just switched to different version of Proton to see difference in performance, but over all it's all the same. The tinker step is completely optional and isn't required.
Works Well Out of the Box, Community Layout Recommended
For some reason it takes quite a long time to boot up, but other than that it works perfectly.

Changed shoulder buttons to Q & R. Made backgrips M/K/L
Great game. Runs great when forced to experimental. Both single and multi player works without issue
Much more stable on the 1.0 release than it was prior.

As other comments have stated, entering some areas dropped the FPS significantly. Running the game with the above launch options (excluding gamemoderun, my game would not launch with that added) made the game run as it should.

Just spent 3 hours playing this morning. There's no controller settings by default. You'll need either set up your keybinds, or use a community profile. I used "Bethany's Sunhaven" profile and it worked great.
Added Q button to back grips.

Going into areas like into the mines and into housing caused significant performance loss (as low as 20fps) disabling directX 10 and letting it fallback to directX 9 fixed these performance issues entirely
Online works perfectly however I could not find a way to connect to other players using proton versions 5.13-6 and lower
Disable directX10 feature level if you are having performance issues when entering certain areas by adding PROTON_NO_D3D10=1
followed by %command%
to the launch commands.
I tried running with latest Proton and Experimental versions, and the game ran with both, but was pretty laggy while in full HD resolution. I then switched to Proton 5.13-6 and now it runs just fine even in full HD, which makes me glad because this game is sooooo cute <3
Runs out of the box, no issues. Future updates might change that, however.
Works out of the box.

After forcing Proton 5.13-6 game is running as expected.
Game Could not start without Proton 5.13-6
Occasional Freeze during start up.
