Works great with high fps & stability - press play and enjoy

The game works natively. If you want to play with mods, yo need to switch to Proton 8 and install libmono so BepInEx uses the system library
--doorstop-enable true --doorstop-target "Z:/home/z4na14/.config/r2modmanPlus-local/ETG/profiles/Default/BepInEx/core/BepInEx.Preloader.dll" --r2profile "Default"
For modding this game, a library is needed. For arch users install libmono with sudo pacman -S mono
, so BepInEx is forced to use the system library.

Using PS5 Dualsense controller buttons were mismatched. I needed to switch to Legacy runtime 1.0 and enable Steam input and the Native version then worked perfectly.
Played through the tutorial and its "boss". Game ran very well.

It probably works fine under Proton but I need to reconfigure controller bindings.
A bug has developed where the character will continuing firing after releasing the RT trigger. Using 8-Bit Do Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller.

Native runs perfectly
Worked perfectly. Includes Ultrawide support.

Native works perfectly for vanilla. I could only get modding to work through the windows version & proton.
Proton version sometimes disables all audio on system until the game is closed. Unsure if this is an issue with my system or the game.

Works perfectly
it works.

Fullscreen introductory "cutscenes" before boss fights don't play properly. The display just turns black. The game continues to work once the cutscene is finished, though.
Works perfectly out of the box

Just works
Great experience, running natively.

Smooth in every way

Smooth as butter
Seemed to run better than on windows

Great roguelike, with lots of unlockables and jokes with weapons and pop culture. Try to find all weapon/item combinations!
Shadows can be a little weird, specially on the shop (table shadow).
Best configuration to use on this game is to set the Internal and External resolution as 1920x1080 - this way the screen will be better adjusted to fill almost 100% (still 16x9, but it's an improvement from the default config).

Runs without problems
Great performance

Native version works great out of the box.
Did not try multiplayer.
This game runs perfectly like on Windows

Native
Works better than Windows
Ran fairly well, no lag or screen tears. I recommend running it natively, because it didn't need any tinkering to make it work.
Runs pretty smoothly, much better than on Windows. No Proton needed, the native install ran fairly well.

Выбило после прохождения обучения при получении первого достижения и дольше при входе в игру выбивало и нативную версию и через протон. Отключил оверлей steam, всё опять заработало как часы.
После решения вышеописанного глюка игра шла идеально, и была пройдена.

On the regular Steam client the game ran without problems, HOWEVER once I enabled rpm-fusion repositories the game would start and then crash after showing a few seconds of the starting animation.
If I enter in Big Picture mode before launching the game there are no crashes, just a small hiccup during the starting animation.

Downloaded through epic games and added to steam as a non-steam game. Forced proton experimental and game working perfectly. So far I have 2 hours of game time

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp.dll=n,b" strangle 165 %command%
disabled vsync, added strangle to limit FPS
experimental for vanilla, if using mods through R2modman, ignore the shell arg, run 8.0.3 with windlloveride arg with strangle or other method for fps cap added if mouse issues are noted

Works out-of-the-box apart from usually crashing on startup (ways to fix it listed below)
Sometimes the game crashes during the first loading screen. Closing background processes (you can re-open them after the initial load) and disabling other monitors decreases this likelihood. Occasionally a computer reboot is nessacary to make it work.

On a Linux PC it does run but only if I disable my other monitors. If I do not disable other monitors, the game crashes before loading the main menu. Plays flawlessly on Steam Deck.
Steam Deck perfect. Linux PC perfect if you disable other monitors.

Savefile lost on cloud save interruption.
Perfect experience
Perfect experience

can crash sometimes when launching but just trying again works
game will crash occasionally on launch
I have had a couple issues with remote play not picking up my freinds controller
there are a couple graphics issues the biggest one being in the shop area the tables with the blanks have their shadows all messed up. crashing on startup occasionally but if you try again it usally works.

Controls stop working for a few seconds every minute or so, some slight graphical artifacts and will crash every two floors
Occasional cutting out of all audio
controls would stop working for a few seconds every couple of minutes
Slowdown
Game used to run near perfectly apart from some slight graphical issues but is currently unplayable

crashes before main menu!
was formerly working, but after not touching the game for a few months it now displays extreme lag in the loading screen and crashes before arriving at the main menu.

EtG used to run flawlessly aside from a few graphical problems here and there (such as in the shopkeepers room) but no longer works. Crashing on startup with native & proton.

Game is missing from my volume mixer
Randomly crashes when starting the game
Native works fine, but the BepInEx injecton script seems to be broken so i had to use Proton. Randomly crashes when opening the game, have to start it a few times until it works.
The game works very well, it is easy to play, although aiming may be easier with a mouse, it's not a problem once you play for a few minutes. Always at 60fps. The experience is perfect.
