Load screen was showing for a (very) long time, but that's the only issue i ran into.
Only starts with Wine D3d11 but performance is underwhelming (~10-20 fps)
Performs well when WineD3D11 is enabled. Crashes on closing the game.
Overall great experience on Deck
Had some issues the first time starting the uPlay launcher, but after closing the game and restarting it worked fine.
Seems to have issues closing the game sometimes where it just keeps closing the game forever until i manually exit the game through the Steam Deck UI.
Performs very well with a 30FPS lock medium/high-ish settings at 800p.
Had to quit uplay once, after the restart it seemed to work pretty well. KBM and controller worked fine, performance was good enough.
WMV playback doesn't work in proton yet so already get an error in the intro.
Has some issues with changing settings (as mentioned by others) but works decently otherwise.
Dropped TDP to 9 to improve battery life.
Works well performance wise. Audio does seem out of sync with the cutscenes.
Basically doesn't show anything, process shows in system monitor and stops after a few minutes.
Performs very well with Wine D3D11 enabled. It crashes when exiting the game though.
A while back it needed Wine D3D11 enabled. Now it just works out of the box, performance is great and it exits correctly as well.
Ran fine performance wise, but seems prone to crashing to the desktop.
Can't set 16:9 resolutions and crashes to desktop at random moments. Performance/sound is perfect when it does work though.
Audio crackling and (random?) crashes when changing settings are the biggest issues i found. Also takes a bit for the shader cache to build so can be quite choppy in the beginning. The game runs pretty well when cache is built.
Works well out of the box, but the shader cache stuttering is pretty bad sometimes making it somewhat unplayable the first time.
Wouldn't launch the first time after uplay updated and logged in. After closing uplay and restarting the game it worked great. Performance was good. Sound and controller all worked fine as well.
Launcher opens, intro icons show and then it crashes. Tried all tweaks but didnt work.
Played tutorial and offline vs AI which both worked great other than some minor shader cache stuttering the first couple of matches.
played singleplayer, changed some graphical settings and haven't spotted any issues.
Shadows turn blocky every now and then. Also shader cache loading seems pretty bad in this game so takes quite a while for performance to pick up.
Introduction movie shows full white, but after that the game works well (performance wise). It does seem prone to crashing at random moments though.
Worked very nicely. Ultra high preset still gave pretty good performance.
After i disabled esync it stopped crashing. Played through one wave and it worked fine.
Works very well out of the box. Great performance when shader cache has been generated. Haven't noticed any other issues in the single player.
Game generally runs great but the save issues are it's biggest downfall right now.
rock/wall textures are flickering.
Seems it's not saving correctly.
Game works perfectly. Tested switch from fullscreen to windowed mode and auto-text mode.
Basically install and play on your Steam Deck.
TDP 8W
Great game on Steam Deck
Low/medium settings, tdp limited to 9w
Might only be after waking from sleep multiple times.
Basically a platinum game when playing with controller, but mouse is very glitchy.
Has some minor slowdown swinging in the busier areas, but otherwise seems to stick to a solid 30fps. Using pretty much low preset.
Solid Steam Deck experience out of the box.
Only ran the HD version, and single player only, but it ran perfect.
Tried all the options (wined3d, disable esync etc.) but nothing makes it continue to load. It opens quickly, shows loading screen and crashes back to desktop.
Seems like it 'hangs' on startup but it works fine (just takes a bit). Runs very well.
Boots to black screen by default. Doesn't even start with wined3d or esync disabled.
Game performs great. Done a few races with KBM and controller which both worked fine.
Works well with a xbox one controller. Some slowdown on initial load but afterwards it runs great.
Mouse has issues, so controller is recommended. Besides that issue it runs ok. Not really great performance, but it runs.
Generally works fine out of the box. Great performance, haven't noticed any graphics issues either. Only issue i had was with the mouse acting weird, but Xbox controller worked perfectly.
Played roughly the first hour (ended with clearing the pilon 'dungeon') with Xbox controller which worked great. Performance was very good, no choppiness at all, solid framerates etc.
Generally runs good but crashes when changes to fullscreen. And it can also lock up the PC when exiting the game.
Doesn't even open anything. Keeps it's process running in the background.
Got the 1 fps bug. Once i changed the resolution once in the menu the framerate was fine (back to 60). Noticed some minor graphic bugs in placed, but it's pretty much gold rated after the resolution change.
Runs pretty good with Wine D3d11. Colors do seem kind of off though.
Doesn't even open on standard settings, and only shows a splash screen with Wine D3D11
Shows gameloft logo but crashes after a couple of seconds. Tried both WineD3d11 and no-esync.
You have to find your way through a black launcher window, but the game itself runs great.
Just install and launch. Some minor stuttering at first for the shader cache but after that it's great.
SP works great out of the box. Haven't tried multiplayer though, but since it uses EAC i don't expect it works.
Tried playing at custom/max settings. Had some mouse and navigation issues (like i couldn't click menu items and such) but the game itself ran fine (performance wise).
Seems to run decently performance/gameplay wise with KBM. Controller does't work though.
Controller issues were fixed in the latest Proton version so the game works pretty much flawlessly.
Works perfectly out of the box. Also tried playing with Xbox One controller which also worked fine.
