Works flawlessly
Played on a DualSense controller using SteamInput and everything just works, including nice-to-have features, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The game is showing Xbox controller glyphs instead, but given the game has PlayStation controller support disabled by default, this isn't an issue related to Steam/Proton.

games runs smooth, launched on the wrong monitor
Game launched on my second monitor the first time I launched it. Had to go into settings, switch to windowed to move the game to my primary monitor and then reanable fullscreen on the primary monitor. After that, the game launched in fullscreen on the correct monitor.

Very nice game
I had no issues playing this.
Beatiful game, works out-of-the-box!
It's perfect. Nothing to complain about.
Install and Run, no issues
Runs perfectly fine out of the box.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Crashed on startup without using launch option: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Works as expected.
VSynch off to avoid strange speed changes

No issues at all during launch and gameplay
sometimes the game doesn't close and stays on a black screen after trying to quit, killing it through steam solves the issue and nothing is lost

Runs perfectly out of the box with default Proton
Played with gamepad

Definitive Edition прошел и никаких глюков не увидел, игра идет идеально.

None of the tinkering methods are really accurate.
I did 2 main fixes
To get the game running: install lib32-nvidia-utils-beta (lib32-nvidia-utils if on stable proprietary drivers)
To have the game launch fullscreen on the correct monitor:
- Start the game
- Go to option and change it to window mode
- Drag the screen to the monitor you want the game to be on
- Minimize the game into the task bar
- Bring the game back to the screen by clicking on it in the task bar
- Go to game options and turn full screen back on
- Save or apply setting (if needed)
- Restart the game- and it should be good now
Had to apply a fix to get it to start in fullscreen on main monitor (see rest of review)

Runs great other than the V-sync glitch, once you turn it off it's fine but would've been nice to be able to use 90Hz.
If you have the 90Hz OLED version make sure you turn off V-Sync or the game will have weird slowdowns.

gamemoderun %command%
The game doesn't put enough load on the 6600, so it clocks down too far, and the HDMI audio starts to crackle. Using gamemoderun to set amd_performance_level=high
works around this.
[The 6600 having buggy HDMI audio isn't the game's fault.]

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Opens on different screen, but can be moved

Used the powertools plugin
I had to lower it from 90Hz to 60Hz to remove slowdown in gameplay

Laggy while running the display at 90Hz (OLED Model). Reducing the refresh rate to 76Hz fixed it.

gamescope -w 3840 -h 2160 -ef %command%
By default the game launches on the leftmost monitor and even if you move it it's limited to the resolutions that monitor supports. I solved this by using the launch options to run it inside a gamescope container with the correct resolution set, which launches it on the correct monitor with the correct resolution.
The issue with the wrong monitor and wrong resolution also happens on Windows, but the fix is different.

Flawless on proton. Also, a good game

Works perfectly found out of the box
(I used Proton Experimental because that's the one I use normally anyway)

Works perfectly out of the box
Wonderful game that works great on Linux with no adjustments whatsoever.

Perfecto
Run absolutely fine
Works out of the box

Runs flawless
Completed the game without any issues. With a gamepad (Sony Dualsense).

Works great on Arch Linux.
it's a little bit slow but it's ok
if anybody is here using a mac, it only runs on Parallels Desktop and it's very laggy.

when CPU was set on anything other than performance there would be a lot of crackling. on performance mode there's only a wee bit of crackling at the intro splash screen.
set your CPU to performance when encountering audio crackling.
