Lighting artifacts - frequently, some red pixels appear on the horizon.
Played with Proton-Experimental [bleeding-edge] in High settings, 1080p windowed fullscreen with 60 FPS stable.
Amazing story and immersive game.

Requires dotnet40 xna40 to start.

Audio sometimes broke when viewing through portals.
Had some problems when playing the game on the dock with a 1080p TV.
My main issues occured when playing the game docked so I'm not sure if these issues will occur for other players. I had connected my Deck to a 1080p TV and I experienced some issues when there were a lot of things that needed to be loaded into the game or when looking through a portal. This didn't really take away from the experience but it was noticable.

Works perfectly
Play this instead of the Redux version
perfect.
Some niggles, but nothing game breaking. Very playable!
Some texture glitching, some lights flickered rather than were constant or were rendered in the wrong place. Again, nothing that made the game unplayable, just a bit more creepy sometimes :).
Slight stutters and framedrops that should not be there given my hardware. Nothing major though, very playable.
- Game would not exit upon exit, needed manual kill after every run.
- Game would start with an error code about 50% of the time. After continue, the full setup screen with settings before the game starts was blank and I had to reinput my options.
Some stuttering and freezing - nothing major.
Bit of a strange issue with the moveable items and puzzles, the random integer used sets them as correct for the majority of the puzzles. This has caused an issue with the achievement: "Unfinished story" where the last part of the puzzle does not trigger/load the final part in the dam area.
Also fast travel via the story map is borked, but this is minor.
Bad but the free redux version works good

Redux version does not start, failing with a Wine error about a failed "createprocess". Non-Redux version shows the splash screen for like forever.

No issues found (I only tested the redux version).

Functionally speaking Platinum. It works, no crashes, works pretty smooth too, etc. In my previous atemps the game was crashing on startup. This time both old and Redux versions work fine. The old version is using UE3, and DX9, so uses Proton/Wine translation to OpenGL. The new Redux version uses EU4, and DX12, with DXVK translating to Vulkan. The Redux version runs at higher framerate, but it does have sporadic stutering when entering new areas, as well sometimes seriously low framerate (i.e. when having fire from the crypt in the viewport, even if obstructed by other geometry, and from the distance). Some other times it just is low for no reason (10-20fps), and you turn head, and suddenly it is fine (60-130 fps). The older version, has less stuttering, and more consistent performance, but it is still there from time to time, but not as severe as Redux / DXVK one. However, the old version with DX9 / OpenGL, do have lower average framerate in general. So pick your choice. I hope to test it with ACO compiler for Radeon Fury X, once it is more polished, and my card is officially supported. Other than that, game is actually very playable, even with some stuttering.

Normal (non-redux) version - has some annoying graphical glitches and it crashed twice when tabbing out, but it is completely playable otherwise.

Played and finished the Redux version. No issues.

Heavy stutters in the beginning (but this is just mobile APU) then almost always >30 fps with Vega 8, which is impressing for such low TDP.

Redux version: works perfectly out of the box, key remapping works well (AZERTY keyboard), performances are excellent (some slowdown and some weird mouse rotations from time to time but I can't compare to Windows version, not game-breaking "bugs" btw)! :)

Redux version works perfectly out of the box and has good performance. Regular version is fully playable, but has slight visual glitches and horrible performance.

Working perfectly out of the box. Only tested the redux.

I played the Redux version. Encountered stuttering and occasional lag spikes, but these are apparently common issues with the game, unrelated to Proton.

Now both versions work perfectly out of the box.

Played the Redux version. There was minor stuttering in the beginning but nothing game breaking. Works great out of the box.

Redux version runs flawlessly

Tried the redux version. Haven't noticed any issues really.

Redux version. Stacks at first time load. Then runs nicely with max graphics settings. Occasional stuttering, but easy enough to ignore (as previous user stated). Haven't tested normal one but redux is plobably better anyway.

Redux version runs nicely with Ultra graphics settings. Occasional stuttering, but easy enough to ignore.

Crash during initial loading phase.

Redux version: with Proton 3.16-6 Beta the game runs perfectly, no workaround required, just press Play and have fun, performances are good too. Note: this is on an AMD RX 580. Normal version: it does not even start, just play the Redux version and have fun.

doesn't start

Game runs well on High Settings @ 2560x1440 out of the box. Ultra settings renders at 200% resolution and runs much slower.

Redux version with Proton 3.16-5

The graphics, sound and controls works perfectly. The only issue is the framerate that's half the performance than windows in the same machine, also the loading times seens longer. But it's playable.

Was not working with Proton 3.16-4 but runs flawlessly with 3.16-5. Occasionally, there is stuttering. Probably when the game loads/unloads data in the background. But I do not know if this is the same in Windows.

Only sounds and music have slight errors. Easy to ignore. They do not have smooth volume control when you approach the sound source.

Redux version works fine with the fix from https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1103#issuecomment-437668223, but is barely playable due to performance (20-30 FPS on lowest settings). Original version doesn't even start.
