Bonus War Child content does not play (garbled video but audio is fine) on regular Proton. GE-Proton fixes it.

60+ fps with these settings:
- Fullscreen: Off
- Resolution: 1280 x 800 (60hz)
- V-Sync: Off
- Anti-Aliasing: Medium
- Graphics: High

40Hz, 40FPS, 7 Watt
Navigating the collectible page is buggy and sometimes isn't responsive. Touch screen is a workaround for this
Set to 40hz to improve battery.
During a cutscene steam deck couldn't read the codecs, so i had colors on my screen while the audio was playing. Switching to Proton GE fixed this
Игра пройдена без глюков и багов

Works perfectly out of the box
Default control mapping was for AZERTY keyboard layout, but could be easily remapped to the usual WASD.

6.16-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton 6.16-GE-1 for cinematics
You can play it without problems using proton ge. I've used proton 6.16 ge to be exact.
Proton can't handle the cinematics on this game. I had to use proton GE.
Under normal proton it may work but every time the game plays a cinematic the screen goes black. Installing mf-install did't fix the problem for me, it went from coloured strips on the screen to a black screen, skipping the cinematic the game played well.

Proton-6.9-GE-1
The insane load times would make most people think the game was frozen.
VERY long load times when loading saves
- Massive loading times between levels (In excess of 5 minutes)
- Frame pacing is inconsistent.

5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll
5.8-GE-2-MF
You need a Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF build in order to be able to watch the cutscenes.
Runs perfectly on Linux!
Media Foundation only partially fixes the issue of cut-scenes not playing: sometimes they still won't play and the game gets stuck on a black screen for longer than the cut-scene would have taken, for many minutes even.
Although playable from start to finish, these black screen are frequent and long enough to make the experience tedious.
Patience and lowering graphics settings help
Having vertical synchronisation on or anti-aliasing set to higher than low severely lowered the framerate.
On first run the menus were glitchy and would not save settings.
When starting a new game and every few tens of minutes of gameplay the game will go to a black screen. It takes several minutes for the gameplay to continue. This seems like an issue with loading screens.
Black screen after you start the game isn't supposed to be there, there was supposed to be a cut-scene. Media foundation fixes that missing cut-scene and the game works as intended.
No issues
Starts with a long loading black screen.

Works with DXVK on Vulkan
Loading the game took a little, but then it worked fine with Proton 5.0-1
Initial black screen is a loooooong loading screen
Once you get passed the menu and the black screen appears, wait. Thats the loading screen. It takes about 5 minutes or so. Runs perfect
Game menu is working very well, but after start a new game, the game is stuck in black screen.

Works fine.

runs very good after you beat the up to 5 minutes loading screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm2pb50HKH0

The game itself runs perfectly. Only the loading times are a bit long (around 2-4 minutes). Playing at 1440p@60fps with nearly constant 60fps.

Load screen was showing for a (very) long time, but that's the only issue i ran into.

The Mian Menu works, but after start a new game, the game freezes. I try different drivers and tweaks, all the same.
