It just works. Local online probably requires quick firewall port opening, online works out of the box.
Rename ArmaReforgerSteam.exe to ArmaReforger_BE.exe
Some sounds sometimes didn't play
Map background is not rendered at all
First animation of everything is choppy, then runs perfectly fine
Maybe requires some tweaks and updates to work properly

Few times I saw some effects dissapeared during the cut scene for example, very minor
Best co-op experience I ever had, no jokes
Great game, works great!
Completed whole game (22h) without any problems. Works flawlessly.
Game has so many key combinations that some of them intercepted by DE (KDE Plasma)
Works out of the box with good performance
Minor artifacts, but I'm not sure of the state in Windows
Works great and you can play online with others
Shadows sometimes inaccurate, but nothing major
Framerate sometimes drops ~10fps from solid 60 to 50, but nothing that prevents enjoying the experience.
Game crashed 2 times, but restarted and continued with no further issues
The game is just broken overall, not linux specifically
AA does not work
On minimum settings it does not keep 30 fps, on max settings it's 5-7 fps
It crashes randomly
I works out of the box although with a heavy performance hit in AMD cards
Minor shimmering of shadows and lights in some scenes
5700XT does not keep solid 60 fps on mid settings, performance all over the place, while previously 2080 Super was keeping solid 60 with max settings
mangohud %command% --intro-skip --skipStartscreen --launcher-skip
Some videos on in-game screens are very quiet or missing completly
Ocassionally graphics goes off the hill, but reload a save or game restart fixes it
Sometimes when using subway (or whatever it's called) a lot (10-20 in a row) it crashes on arrival
Physics engine goes haywire on occasion (cars going fly high), NPCs spawning in the middle of the road, but it's not often
It works fine. Some things are rough around the edges, but it's linux gaming. Overall, all settings maxxed out, it keeps solid 120FPS for me. No ray tracing though, GPU (7000-series) hangs: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/8857
Crashes right after the logo
Tried various Proton versions and a few launch options, but does not start
Completed 100% of the game without a single issue
Works amazing out of the box, ran the game between 70-110 FPS all the time at max settings.
Does not really work on Intel UHD630 :(
As others needed WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 %command% to fix the audio, menu works fine with good FPS (50-60) in a menu at 2K, but starting game stops at black screen and unresponsive system
Completed the game with Proton
Some type of cut scenes has lip sync issues, mostly towards the end game
Last few quests had some memory consumption issues consuming more than 16 Gb + 4 Gb (zram) and that caused significant lags. If you reload the game it returns to normal and if you complete the quests before you run out of RAM again it's fine. 98% of the game worked flawlessly
I believe given decent hardware the game is perfectly playable
Once city grow performance drops to 7-9 fps
Game crashed a few times, but nothing extraordinary
Does not start with Proton7/Experimental, had to use GE-proton just to start the game, EAC fails to load and hence online experience is not avialable
It works (see below), although stretches screen wide.
Release version does not work right now (not native nor Proton), however (!) go to Setting -> Beta -> use code G17LinuxBETA and switch to "linuxbeta" branch. That works on linux.
Now works out of the box
Old configuration loaded and the UI was off screen, resetting settings and applying it again solved the issue
Completed main story in 82 hours, nothing big to complain. DLC is unplayable at this point

At first mouse was oversensitive on Wayland, fix seems to be backported to stable Proton already
Generally game runs around 140 FPS at Max settings, cutscenes around 80. There were few places during main game when it got to ~70 with some frame pacing issues during battles (closer to the end game). DLC's performance is a different story. Don't want to progress as it runs at ~30-40 FPS with dips to 20...
I hope they will fix DLC's performance, linux seems to take much bigger hit than Windows
It runs with mentioned issues
Video cut scenes has incorrect colors, rendered off screen and streched
In a menu mouse cursor is laggy
The game ran at about 40-50 FPS, significant slow down (2-3 FPS) when removing roads
Overall an enjoyable experience and a lovely game
Works out of the box
With half built sector 1 the FPS dropped to 45 already
Videos are not playing with Proton and probably require GE-Proton for that
Some weird shimmering on occasion
Drops to 14 fps randomly and in some cases consistently
Launcher does not start with Proton 7, only with GE
Use proton for this title
Native version does not work, all options fails to start, however if Proton is forced, it works just fine
Works great out of the box
Minor shadow flickering in some rare scenes
Works out of the box. Completed whole game on linux
Sometimes light or shadows flickers, but nothing major
Works great overall out of the box.
I'm getting occasional message that game save corrupted, but that never prevented me from continuing where I've left off
When entering new area there is few minutes of caching, but once that passes frame rate is stable.
Completed half of the game on Windows and second part on a same machine on Linux. Granted you don't have RTX on Linux but runs just as good on Linux with actually some better input than on Windows.
Ray Tracing options is greyed out, unless VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr RADV_PERFTEST=rt %command% is specified
Shimmering of the overlapping textures on the hills
Almost stays at 120 FPS with Ray Tracing at 1440p
Runs perfectly without any tweaks
Stuttering when new area is loaded. One time thing for new areas, then running smooth as a butter
Worked out of the box even on my UHD630. Performance is very poor due to high graphics settings, but otherwise worked just fine.
At 2K ran at 6-10 FPS, at 1080p ran at about 15 FPS
Right now with 5700XT it's barely playable :(
On all settings frame rate is below 30 fps and input is finicky, so it's quite unplayable. Seems like some problem with AMD GPU/driver since nVidia GPUs used to play nicely with this title at any setting level
Something is wrong with AMD cards and this game, just locked at 17-20 FPS
Still gives 17 FPS on current hardware, same issue was on 5700XT, worked fine with nVidia
There is an option in start dialog to skip intro video which I selected. No other issues. Ran game at 2K on Intel UHD630
Works well, but don't alt-tab
After loosing focus mouse starts moving cursor and not controling character
Loosing mouse control on focus loss
No issues
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/ud3nj2/overwatch_2_beta_mouse_input/ - issue still exists
Requires the Media Foundation installation. I've used the repo: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
cd into the cloned dir and execute WINEPREFIX="/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/839770/pfx" ./mf-install.sh
After that everything works just fine
I guess it's playable if you're ready to reload the game at save points normally. It looks great and it works out of the box.
Steam Controller is not recognized for movement. Also RB/LB does not work, the rest works fine.
As others reported after some messages FPS drops to 1-2, while otherwise running at consistent 60
Completed the game without any problems on current hardware. Runs great
Problems that exists with nVidia cards (drops to few fps after opening menu or reports) either don't show at all, or goes away after 10-15 seconds or changing the area
Hair and facial hair is rendered at extremely low resolution with everything set to epic
First 30 min ran from 40-60 fps only
Crashes with Proton 8 after the intro
Seems like need a few patches before it will become playable, issues with hair is extremely annoying and distracting
Does not start
Shows Internal Error with OK button at the very start
Works perfectly out of the box
Very solid performance, glad they fixed it since the demo. Works like a charm and it's gorgeous!
It works, but not well and it's not linux's fault
Most of textures takes about 15-20 seconds to load (not linux related)
It runs from 70-110 FPS on my setup, stutter on occasion
Shaders compile every single time and it's at random where do they start (1%, 36%, 22%...) It took about 36 minutes the first time, about 5-9 minutes next few times. Overall it runs, missing textures completely breaks the immersion, but it seems to be a problem on windows as well. Seems like after a patch or two it should work fine.
Completed the game successfully at max graphics settings and stable 60 FPS.
Framerate drops to ~30 when on the uboat with a view of all sections. Framerate restores once you get into some room.
Overall it runs nicely out of the box, given decent hardware it should run without issues
Mostly construction beams are missing at some zoom level
Given the hardware at late stage of the match FPS is in single digits
Works great and super smooth except the mouse input
Feels like the mouse movement is every so slightly delayed. You can get used to it and adjust, but it feels off
