Once again, the pesky anti-cheat BattleEye ruins everything. Game complains about bad serial key.
Whenever starting the game the first time, whatever it is steam is trying to install as a first time setup causes it to complain that windows media player 7 is unavailable, however the game still works without it being addressed.
Proton 3.16-6: The menu stutters and lags so hard you can barely select the menus, and in-game there are several game breaking fps drops.
Proton 3.6-8: Alt Tabbing causes the game to crash.
Mild fps drops here and there, but it is playable.
Crashes to desktop.
The game out of the box does not work. Black screen during the first cinematic, and even with the main menu.
Steam stuck with "Preparing to launch", this is the only game this happens to no matter how many times uninstalled and reinstalled.
Instantly crashes whenever I use Direct3D, however switching to OpenGL allows the game to be played.
Disabling directx 11 eliminates most of lag, generally playable.
Without the tweak, game was choppy. Framerate issues, some graphical glitches here and there, and even playing on low graphics was pretty bad. So I applied the tweak, and the game runs perfectly, but not as near as the windows version, but still playable.
Presented with a grey cinematic screen with sound, and after finishing, the game loads fine but frequently crashes.
Loads into menu screen, however whenever I alt +f4, the game believes it crashed.
Graphical glitches - ruining the game experience. None of the fixes provided helped remedy the issue.

The game works, but singleplayer causes the game to hang on "waiting for connection"
The screen is stuck to the upper left corner of the screen with a low resolution that causes the cursor to be unable to accurately select menu options.
Out of the box, the game crashes on loading screen. Adding "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" to launch options fixes the error, however you will encounter a font problem where text does not show. To fix this, simply rename SDNXLFonts.dll or delete it, and it will resort to ugly looking fonts. The game is playable and works great, even performance-wise.
Without disabling esync, the game is extremely slow to the point you can't even select anything from the main menu, including freezing. However, it works fine when disabled, albeit slightly sluggish.
Runs like native, only problem is when changing some options causes the game to crash. Other than that, it's perfect.
Launching XP version works, as choosing the first version causes a black screen after language selection. Feels sluggish.
