and

Audio on the opening video does not play
Slight slowdown when accessing to synthesis menu, assigments and any menu.

For making the videos ate least play use Proton GE-Proton7-17
Ingame textures for some menus are missing, intro scene is not working
Menus missing texture, intro dialog missing every dialog box is missing
I only played a little bit but, no dialogue box and some missing menu buttons makes this unplayable. I tried using the flag PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 but it crashes my game on start, tried several proton versions and proton-ge but the textures are always missing. I dont recommend to play this on linux unless they fix these problems

Font size is big that overflows the game window. I found a temp fix. There is a file called printmessage.xtx inside of init folder of the game where you can set up the font spacing and font size

Here are my settings, the font is still smaller but at least it does not overflow the window game, the text on the backlog is still big.

You can try lowering the font size as temp fix but it is too tiny to read comfortable

You need to use lutris, install lavfilters with winetricks, use a 64bit wine prefix and add d2d1 with winecfg in order to fix the font problems

I tried installing lavfilters with protontricks but it did not fix the opening not playing

Text is very small for the steam deck screen
Gives an error after playing a couple of minutes the intro as described on the github issue (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6985)
You can install the patch dlc from denpasoft by just using protontricks and running the exe, dont forget to also install the desync fix. For running the exe create a lavfilters prefix like here https://www.visualnovelwiki.org/en/linux/wineprefix and point lutris to run the HoshiMemo_HD.exe and use Lutris 7.2 runner
There is a bug with the text on choice dialogs. First choice prompt shows the correct text but on a second choice (and subsequent choices) prompt the text on the choices are the same as the text on the first one

just played a little bit, everything works except audio on videos which is surprising to at least be able to play videos, the videos have subtitles so at least you know what they are saying even withouth audio.

The uncensor patch works. you just have to copy the Patch folder into the game folder and run the ApplyDiff.exe trough the wine explorer.

Sometines music is not played
Some textures are mising and effects missing on combat and on the dungeons
Changing configuration of resolution or fullscreen/windowed causes the game to freeze
Sometimes the game freezes when booting it. I had to restart several times the game until it decides to work
The game is mostly playable but always freezes after you have been playing for some time.
Slowdowns on some areas like crossbell but this happens on windows too

The unofficial english patch works on linux. If you dont mind constantly saving the game before each action and playing on easy to replay the parts you havent saved before the freeze , otherwise i would just recommend playing the windows port.

As noted on other comments, english patch should not use XAudio2_9.dll because it does not work on proton/wine

You must use ProtonGE7-51 if you dont want to have crashes. If you want audio to work on videos you need to rename or delete libprotonmediaconverter.so file from this path: '/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/GE-Proton7-51/files/lib/gstreamer-1.0/'
