WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw.dll=n,b" %command%
install lavfilters in the pfx
in a few of the first scenes, the game ran with what felt like 10 fps sometimes. which is not really that big of a deal in a Visual Novel.
It's also important to mention that this choppyness fixed itself whenever an animation accured, so the experience wasn't really degraded.
Maybe KDE's Adaptive snync had something to do with it but I doubt it. Anyhow, it seems not not happen at all when the game is left in full screen from a relaunch.
in the patched version, there is a black screen which can be dismissed with a mouse click. probably an Opening movie failing to load? apparently lavfilters fixes it. I probably broke my lavfilters install by half-hearedly moving the prefix from one machine to another, ignoring a few transfer failiures in the process. In any case. I doubt I missed any content because of it. (watched the opening movie straight from the game files ;3)
eventhough the broken font looks cool, without the dll override it's unledgible. Which is kinda an issue in a Visual Novel. :p
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw.dll=n,b" %command%
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw.dll=n,b" %command%
protontricks 2182690 lavfilters
Fullscreen looks broken, with graphics all over the place
Without protontricks, game was stuck initializing (potentially issues with intro logos/movies)
You need to do ddraw.dll override to fix the fonts and install lavfilters to fix the videos
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ddraw.dll=n,b" %command%
protontricks 2182690 lavfilters
30hz, tdp 4w, gpu clock 400
Font is too big unless you do the ddraw.dll override
Fullscreen does not work in desktop mode, just use window mode
The restoration patch works without issues, you just have to drag and drop the files
