There is some stutter/delay whenever a menu is displayed

Played with a controller. Everything except the movie works out of the box.
game opens, looks as good as it did on ps3 but portable. so the best way to pay it imo.
the game has a launcher, but all u gotta do is tap the touchscreen or hold the steam button to access the mouse to get past it
Great experience on deck
Any videos (intro, credits, etc.) have no audio. All in game cutscenes/events have audio
If fullscreen is enabled in the launcher the image is stretched to 16:10. Disable fullscreen and the game runs in 16:9
Game runs well and is a really enjoyable experience handheld or docked on the deck. Some very minor issues that don't hinder the gameplay experience at all.
Runs perfectly out of the box
if you set it as fullscreen the aspect ratio is wrong, untick fullscreen
Game stutters when gathering items and navigating 2D menus
Game stutters for 0.5~ second when gathering, and for 0.5~ to 2 seconds when opening or navigating 2D menus.
Works great. The startup video (and possibly all video) is skipped, otherwise no issues.
Has a launcher window without controller input. A big 'Start game" button can easily be tapped with touch input.
The startup video is automatically skipped. Continues to the title screen.
Great improvment. It didn't work many months ago, but now it just works without any experimental updates.
Works fine with forced Proton Experimental! With Proton 7 the Intro Video gets skipped! With GE there is no Sound in the Intro Video!
Screen limited to 40hz
Launcher can be controlled with touchpad
Videos are missing audio
Only issue is the audio not playing during videos, which I think is limited to the intro and ending. Otherwise the game is flawless.
Valve's Proton worked similarly, though may not have played the videos at all. I didn't use it long and don't remember for sure.
Laucher windows - Can be used well with touch input
Slight slowdown when accessing to synthesis menu, assigments and any menu.
The opening works but with no audio
Proton-7.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Crashed on title screen. Fixed with mf-install script from https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
Funciona correctamente.
USING A SWITCH PRO CONTROLLER VIA BLUETOOTH Had to switch "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" in the game's properties in Steam to get the controller to work. Even then, the mappings were all wrong. The buttons also went speedy boi in-game. To my knowledge, this issue only affects Switch Pro Controllers and others controllers should have no issues. Using a Switch Pro Controller via USB leads to inputs not being detected at all.
Had to create the dxvk.conf file in the game's directory "\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Atelier Rorona ~ The Alchemist of Arland ~ DX" and put the line "d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True"
Prevents grey overlay in main menu after pressing start in the game launcher
Had to set "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" to Forced Off to make the controller work in-game
Game CTDs occasionally when accessing the alchemy menu. Make sure to save prior to alchemy to prevent loss of progress. Mildly annoying but not really game-breaking
I did set "d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True" in dxvk.conf next to the game executable as mentioned in other reports, but can't remember if that was necessary or if I only needed the steam launcher setting.
Only the presence of dxvk.conf in the exec directory with "d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True" is needed for flawless play
Works extremely when enabling D9VK and adding a dxvk.conf "d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True" in the execution directory.
Applied D9VK with adding dvxk.conf file with flag d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True to stop a grey screen on launch. A fix documented for other Atelier games.
When I start the game itself, there is sound and using the arrow keys makes sounds of a menu, but the screen is grey so its unplayable.
Couldn't start the game. Able to open the settings, menu, readme.
