In the native version some particle effects are rendered as big black boxes. It's rare but when it happens it covers most of the screen and text. This does not happen when running windows version through proton.

using native deck aspect ratio (16:10) some menu options have a few letters off screen, but you get a bigger in-game screen for playing. On the flip side, changing the resolution to a 16:9 one will allow you to see the menu clearly, but with a smaller in-game screen. Doesn't hinder play either way.
Opening video in menu is corrupted when using native or regular proton. Switching to Proton-GE solves the issue.
the resolution is cropped at the beginning - letting the opening video play for a moment fixes it. Experienced that bug both on GE and native.
OP doesn't play out proper on Native (only audio, no video). OP works fine on latest GE (and likely on other proton versions as well). Game plays with no hitches, but the resolution bug might make a couple things hard to read- letting the OP play out fixes it.

With the native version I'm unable to move using the D-pad (Switch Pro Controller), hard to say if it's the game's fault though, but it doesn't happen when running the game with proton
opening video doesn't play and just flashes a strange color screen for a few seconds instead if you are idling in the main menu too long, on some bootups the controller doesn't want to work at all (strangely if you change it to have keyboard input instead it works so I guess just don't touch anything while it's booting up?) but is easily fixed by just rebooting the game. other than that it works great out of the box
Opening video is corrupted

It has artifacts in the linux native version. But the windows version + proton works fine.
It has black boxes in certain areas using the native linux version: https://files.catbox.moe/b6f8r8.mp4
