GST_PLUGIN_FEATURE_RANK=protonaudioconverterbin:NONE %command%
Works with proton ge and the command line. All cutscenes working. Enjoy this game on the deck!!
No audio during cutscenes
As of Proton 7.0-2 the game still crashes on cutscenes. But with GE Proton the cutscenes now play. Though the cutscenes lack audio, they are subtitled and the game is now playable.

Videos works on Proton GE but audio is missing
Audio is missing on videos
just played a little bit, everything works except audio on videos which is surprising to at least be able to play videos, the videos have subtitles so at least you know what they are saying even withouth audio.
Non functional on Steam Deck :(
Yesterday I tried booting up the game, got to the menu, could not load into my save (crashed). I tried starting a new game, and after about 15 seconds was met with a crash. As of today's Proton Experimental update, the game no longer crashes when choosing "new game" (still crashes when loading my save) however no video is displayed, only audio. Bummer that this game doesn't work.
Proton-5.4-GE-3 GloriousEggroll
Out of the box, game will crash whenever a video is played on any Proton version. Using mf-install will prevent crashes, though the videos still do not play.
Need to use an older version of Proton for mf-install to work. 5.13 and up would not work for me.
The action sections seem to run smoothly, but missing out on large chunks of the story doesn't work for this sort of game. Can't recommend.
Crashes on intro cutscene
After starting a new game, the application minimized and a new window popped up with the placeholder video from wine/proton. Then the game crashed.
Will try Proton-GE later.
Game kinda runs, but you need a dxvk.conf file with "d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True" on the game's directory.
Flickering textures
It would often minimize.
Bad optimization+overhead, causes some FPS drops on some specific scenarios
Crashes every time it tries to load a cutscene
Videos don't play
The realtime aspects work perfectly well, but the pre-rendered cutscenes do not. Upon encountering them, the game will either crash or get stuck on a white screen(if you use native quartz). The Bronze rating here is technically accurate, but you simply cannot complete the game on Linux. You can't even see it in action unless you have a save fom after the intro cutscenes...
DS4 borked, strafes indefinitely
Game runs, tried it 5 minutes and is working, further testing needs to be done
