Title screen had extremely slow and weird stuff, and the game said my gpu was out of date, but ignoring those its the exact same as windows, and no need for proton as the native version is good
Works great
has trouble hitting 60 frames, limiting to 40 helps a lot.
Just limit FPS if not docked :)

Used DirectX
Controller needs full remapping
Make the right stick work correctly, made important buttons mapped
Beanin
On the latest Public-Beta, its pretty solid!
Some lag but not game ruining
gamemoderun
https://github.com/hinqiwame/cof-linux-patcher follow this guide to get it actually running
Immense lag in the second half of the game nearly making it unplayable, have tried literally everything and NOTHING fixes the framerate
https://github.com/hinqiwame/cof-linux-patcher use this or it has even more issues
MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink %command%
https://github.com/hinqiwame/cof-linux-patcher this patcher in combination with the command make it run fantastic :)

When Vsync wasnt enabled, the game would stutter, but having a FreeSync display, having it off would be pointless
For cross-saves between consoles and pc, seemingly you need to have it launch with the launcher.
Other than naming your character requiring the on screen keyboard, it's basically perfect and runs great!
8w TDP
Perfect
seemingly from other reviews the vulkan settings is broken, but that didnt matter really under OpenGL the game ran completely normal
Fantastic
sometimes my mouse would leave fullscreen but i have no idea what caused it and it might even happen on windows, fixed immediately just alttabbing lol
weird playing it, havent played it since 2014 alpha, didnt expect it to run well but it runs fantastic and had no issues!
LD_PRELOAD="" gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 -f -r 180 --force-grab-cursor --adaptive-sync -- %command% -noSplash -skipintro
Gamescope used to bypass KDE scaling to hit native 1440p, as well as lock cursor to window better
Identical to windows
Overall, with just no launch options it works great, I've tweaked it for myself just because of personal preferences and stuff. For mods, use DZGUI, https://aclist.github.io/dzgui/dzgui. It works very well, pretty much the windows DZSA launcher for linux. With gamescope, I did have an issue of the game becoming extremely choppy after about an hour or two, which was fixed with the LD_PRELOAD launch option!!
Extremely Good
genuinely thought it was native at first, game obviously has bugs and weird graphical issues, but theyre excusable at the moment, performance was completely fine
Offline Practice is all that works at the moment,
No controller prompts
Technically the game functions, but steamdeck support is disabled on purpose
Cutscenes completely broken
Dont attempt to play this on linux, play Devil May Cry HD Collection instead, and use the fixes for DMC 3 that are avaliable for that version
Cutscenes work but are a little jank
Used to not work correctly with the cutscenes, seemingly working right now with newer proton version! :)
SteamDeck=0 %command%
as every other besthesda game, you have to go into the config file to disable the mouse acceleration

For MegaHack and Geode, download either or both, rename the exe included to "GeometryDash.exe" and the original exe in the games directory to something else, launch the game and install and after install, rename the original exe to "GeometryDash.exe". Finally make sure you have the included launch options set too
gamemoderun mangohud DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command% --use-d3d11
Borderless Windowed has white line around the whole window
Crashes the same amount as windows so no problem technically here
In-game framerate limiter seems to increase CPU usage?, using DXVK_FRAME_RATE=## seems to fix the issue
Pretty close to windows performance wise, just seems to be issues that are hardware based
--use-d3d11
Borderless is a bit weird with a white border, just use full screen
Could probably work for most people without the launch command, which in the past it has for me, but not today for some reason
Works OOTB
Was able to even play on TV at 1080p with no downsides at all!, perfect 60fps the entire time!
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Ran pretty great while using GE Proton

Mouse would be messed up, fixed by leaving full screen, going to borderless and going back to fullscreen
https://github.com/Frogging-Family/amdvlk-opt use this for AMDVLK to have it alongside radv easily
Wonderful on steam deck!
11W TDP
For great performance and battery life;
- 40Hz on Steam
- 11w TDP
- Medium Graphics Settings
- Balanced setting for FSR2
Gets a few hours of battery life and looks and plays great
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Weird repetitive vertical screen artifact no matter what I did with any settings
gamemoderun %command%
silly muppets......
Mouse cursor would stay on screen sometimes when using controller
Poor performance but playable
FSR set to 3 on Deck, not in game, resolution dropped as well in game
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Works with the normal proton as well from my testing
The game is very very poorly optimized, even on windows.
Seemingly 50/50 if it works good for you, still playable, just needs fixes
White dots on all edges and reflections on all different settings presets and upscalers
If shadows are on high, unironically unplayable, set shadows to low and shaders to medium. As well, TSR no matter what if enabled would cause immense lag, best scaler was no Supersampling with dynamic resolution.
gamemoderun %command%
Title screen has green bar at the bottom
Runs with an insane amount of stuttering at low framerates, assume its the same on windows from steam reviews
Great game, played through it on PS5, runs the game much better than it does here. Do not recommend unless you can get through the stutters.
Tdp set to 11

AMD cards (on linux and windows) experience extreme lag when hit by specific weapon while in titan in multiplayer, its the literal exact same as windows
