On the proton 5.0-1 works great with small problems. See: https://youtu.be/BO-ziNEXNDs
The movies do not play. I see black screen. If I click video be skipped.
The game does not start in full screen (Fullscreen was not fully full). I have to go into options and switch Fullscreen -> window -> Fullscreen then its OK. I have to repeat the procedure every time I start the game.
The game works perfectly with Proton 4.11-12 and Proton 5.0-3
If game doesn't start on Proton 5.0-3 change it to Proton 4.11-12 (Only for the first run) remember disable movie playblack in game launcher options.
Everything is visible on the video, how to set options on proton 4.11-12 and 5.0-3 (at the end of the video). https://youtu.be/YIhgrM7hUds
The game works great. But in the game options you should turn off the movie.
If the game does not start immediately on Proton 5.0-3 you should run it on proton 4.11-12 the first time. I had this problem. Then it also worked great on Proton 5.0-3. I do not know why. See how to set it on video https://youtu.be/YIhgrM7hUds
The game does not start. ERROR: EAC initialization failed.
Probably - Engine Error: EasyAntiCheat Init Failed. See video https://youtu.be/01QnI8YvOO0
The game works perfectly. But it slows down over time.
Running on Proton 5.0-5 without flags. I don't know why this is happening but I have the impression that: The longer you play, the less fps you have. You need to restart the game from time to time to regain its initial performance. See video: https://youtu.be/LyRFQUcezf4
The game works perfectly. It's worth playing.
See gameplay on Ubuntu 20.04 with PS4 Pad https://youtu.be/7NiImYOQgwg
Curse of the Dead Gods - works perfect out of the box
Tested on Ubuntu 20.10 with Series X/S controller. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/sloJLhbVoLU
It works. To start the game I had to change the setting to Medium.
In the character creator, after changing the nose, all skin disappears.
Gameplay on https://youtu.be/CpOwopjS04Q
The game works great.
The game supports PC keyboard, Xbox gamepad, PS4. The game does not natively support MIDI keyboards. On windows you need to use the additional midikey2key software. Gameplay with PC keyboard on Ubuntu 20.10 : https://youtu.be/g7aFT9Vn1co
The game works perfectly. You must play it on Linux
Game dynamics at the highest level. Without frame drops. See gameplay on Proton 5.0: https://youtu.be/KvElmCC3t1s

Instructions on how to run DOOM Eternal on Ubuntu 19.10 with an NVIDIA graphics card. This is definitely not easy.
You Need: vulkan-icd-loader-1.2.135 Solution: Install the latest Beta version of the Steam client. "vulkan-icd-loader-1.2.135" is built in there.
You Need: Vulkan 1.2 Developer Beta Driver Solution: Download the latest drivers from https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver Click: Linux 440.66.04 - Download for Linux 64-bit "NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-440.66.03.run" or newer and install
You Need: Proton-5.4-GE-2 Solution: Download the latest version from https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases
Don't change the Proton version for this game too often !!! This is a Denuvo trigger !! Activation lock for 24h!
If the game does not start the first time it will not start even after changing the parameters, I had to restart the computer and then start on with the new parameters.
The game has been started with the following parameters: MANGOHUD=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% +in_terminal 1 +com_skipIntroVideo 1 +com_skipSignInManager 1 No parameters freeze on startup. Only the black screen can be seen.
And some people can't run the game from Denuvo so they need to find the executable file without Denuvo and paste it into the steam game directory.
Running this game is a real nightmare. I wasted 8h before I was able to start this game.
The game works perfectly. Native on Linux
See the gameplay video on Ubuntu : https://youtu.be/6Xy4_DlTquA
The game turns off when changing the resolution. Solution: Change the parameters in the file. /home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/6920/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Deus Ex - Invisible War/user.ini
FullscreenViewportY=1080 FullscreenColorBits=32 FullscreenViewportX=1920
Game turns off occasionally.Without notice.
Gameplay and modifications to run FullHD in the link below: https://youtu.be/4bQHvW8umdo Works with 160-325 fps. Modifications at the end of the video.
Works fine but no sound.
No sound at all. The game seems to be unable to find or play the audio file. As a result, Dialogues written without audio pass very quickly.

Game works perfectly. Immediately after installation.
See gameplay on Ubuntu at the link https://youtu.be/AY-KpM0Jg_0
It can be played without modification but it is annoying.
It happens that the save panel does not open.
The game freezes for 1-5 minutes ( running without modification )
Video from gameplay presents the game without modification with proton 5.0-1 see 8min and 30 sec on wideo and with modifications with proton 5.0-1 %command%, Proton 5.2-GE-1 %command% on 59min 59sec on video.
It works perfectly immediately after installation.
Works always with a speed of 60 kl fps see gameplay: https://youtu.be/8n8Xl6mlgYo
No audio. Solution: Entering the command into Steam launch options: WINEDLLOVERRIDES = "xaudio2_7 = n, b"% command%
Only exactly in 30 minutes of the video with gamplay you can see some snow spots that disappear. The rest is perfect.
See gameplay after audio modification: https://youtu.be/0L4JoYO7WzQ
Works very well on Proton 5.0.
Works at a speed of 23-38 fps on Proton 5.0. It's a bit low for the GTX 1650 but the game is excellent. See gameplay: https://youtu.be/ZPqTHOeGtVI
The game works perfectly.
Works with 270-450 fps on GTX 1650. See video: https://youtu.be/85k2kQTN1VI
When starting the game, you may sometimes see objects floating in the air (trees and stones). Shown at the beginning of this video. https://youtu.be/xlNqrcG7Eew?t=42
Sometimes it's hard to switch to borderless mode to keep it fullscreen. And Fullscreen mode freezes the game.
The game can freeze during cutscenes. The audio continues but the picture freezes.
Gameplay on Ubuntu 20.04 can be seen at the link: https://youtu.be/xlNqrcG7Eew
Instructions on how to run if someone had a problem:
- USE Proton 5.9-GE-6-ST
- I use Nvidia beta driver 450.66
If you are on Ubuntu, you can use the graphics-drivers PPA to get them: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa sudo apt update sudo apt install nvidia-driver-450
Copy Horizon Zero Dawn/Tools/ShaderCompiler/PC/10.0.18362.0/x64/d3dcompiler_47.dll to Horizon Zero Dawn/d3dcompiler_47.dll , next to the executable.
If the game doesn't start, just click Play again.
set windowed mode in options.
If the game looks like a slideshow, change the graphics quality to Orginal. you will get a stable 30 FPS on 1920x1080
If you can see flying stones and trees in the air, restart the game. it helps.
Borderless is quite glitchy at the minute (e.g. flying rocks and trees), so the current workaround is to switch to windowed mode. This does not solve the problem, but it reduces it a bit.
The game works very well.
I don't know how to enable full screen. In windows, Alt + Enter was enough.
See gameplay https://youtu.be/L-8FNhYb3Ps
The game works perfectly. Works immediately after installation.
Old game but looks great and works great (up to 325 FPS) see gameplay on linux on Proton 5.0: https://youtu.be/zlW1QkoXSfg
The game works perfectly. They don't work full screen.
The game starts only in the window. See video https://youtu.be/e-V2vVcNmlA
If anyone would like to fix it: https://wiki.sgripon.net/doku.php/run_pro_evolution_soccer_2019_in_fullscreen_mode_on_steam_on_ubuntu_linux
On the proton 5.0-1 works great and does not freeze. Almost always at 60 fps. I'll see gamplay: https://youtu.be/q2MrlmF6Dw0
The game always freezes at the same time on Proton 4.11-12. See: https://youtu.be/5n995WJMYmU
The game works without modification.
You can also install mods to improve the quality of graphics. Also the game works without a problem. See video gameplay https://youtu.be/pt0RDKXRQVc
Game works fine.
Problem with full screen [mode]. See on video https://youtu.be/Q8cYOZ_Gm-U
With proton 5.0 the game now plays perfectly without any graphical issues.
Works always with a speed of 60 kl fps. See gameplay: https://youtu.be/LWNIjkL_PjU
The game works perfectly
145 FPS without vectral synchronization. 60 FPS V-Sync ON
See video https://youtu.be/9kEvL-OSvKk
The game works terribly. It can be played, it will probably let you go through the whole game.
Proton 5.2-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
5 - 15 fps - The game works terribly.
See gameplay https://youtu.be/ZUySvCuRnjo
The game works well - a problem with resolution
The game shuts down after changing the resolution and when starting the game from the settings window.
If in the launcher you enter the option to change the resolution and then start the game. You will see a black screen. You need to restart the game and it will work. The previously set resolution is saved.
See Gameplay: https://youtu.be/MmRn-oE6h3k
It works perfectly.
Sometimes the game does not start in full screen. You should change the resolution to another (1280x720) then come back to 1920x1080 and it works great
See how thos game works on ubuntu 20.04, also shown is the Full Screen issue in this video. https://youtu.be/rfUFbM0yymQ
It works perfectly immediately after installation.
