Plays right out of the box without any tinkering
Locked at 60 FPS/refresh rate
Despite steam not having any known compatability at the time of writing, the game ran perfectly stable at 60 FPS with 0 hiccups. Had no issue's with any slowdowns and the game was fully playable on the get go.
Game looks and sounds great, weirdly enough it feels better than windows
there is no real oculus support for linux, so if you want to play with an oculus rift/quest, you gotta go windows or look into 3rd party solutions
Game runs like a charm, however it runs with framedrops when played at more than 60fps.
As I said, the game has trouble running at more than 60fps for some reason, had to limit the frames to 60 in order to get rid of the stuttering/framedrops. Input lag is barely noticeable. Used libstrangle package from the AUR and added the "strangle 60 %command%" launch option.
The game works great.
The game supports PC keyboard, Xbox gamepad, PS4. The game does not natively support MIDI keyboards. On windows you need to use the additional midikey2key software. Gameplay with PC keyboard on Ubuntu 20.10 : https://youtu.be/g7aFT9Vn1co
Out of the box, literally, works flawlessly, just with some minimal input lag and jumping between frames.
Game does jump between frames (LOCKED AT 60FPS), but it doesn't lower it's frame rate at any moment. I think that this is a thing that has to be with the game's engine.
