This being a Ubisoft game there's a bug with the log-in screen, which asks you to log-in every time to start the game. Search on Reddit as there's a way to fix this so it doesn't ask you to log-in (you have to play offline though). For me what fixed it was: start game normally; log-in once; shut game off; turn wifi off; start game offline; exit game; from then on you can turn wifi, start the game and it won't ask you ever again.
Aside from this, the game plays great
It's playable. Obviously it's not the best quality wise, but if you have a steam deck you can play it. With this settings I'm currently at Act III and it plays great.

Technically it's playable on Steam Deck, but it plays awfully with a controller as there's no controller support. Do yourself a favor and play it with a mouse.
Resolution is set to 1080 by default. Lower it to 800.
Set graphics to medium and limit fps to 40. Usually it stays at 40 but for some zones it varies and goes to 28-30.
Game plays great taking into account the mentioned details.
Changed right pad to act as mouse. For the rest it works as you'd expect.
Text is a bit too small by codex entries.
No tinkering needed. Just install and play. You may want to try different community control settings until you find one you like.

It crashes randomly sometimes. It happened twice to me in 8 hours of gameplay so it's not often, but it happens. It's not something too harsh as per autosave I usually only lost 3-5 mins of gameplay.

Install and play. I have it at default settings at 60 fps and it runs great. If I face problems in the future, as some reports say, I'll just lower it to 40 fps.
Sometimes fps go to low 20s
I've capped it to 45 fps although usually it stays at 30 and sometimes on the endgame it goes as low as 20 for some moments. It's playable and I've enjoyed it, though
Set backgrip buttons for easier accessibility to abilities
Just start and play. I've set it to 40 fps limit, although it runs at greater frames but I wanted more stability. Game runs great. Just install and play.
Sometimes it appears a little bit of stutter for 5-10 seconds, but it's something rare.
Sometimes it crashes. It happened to me about 6-8 times in a 100 hours.
It has its problems but it's playable and enjoyable. I have reached level 100 with my first character without much problems. Just some bugs here and there.
Sometimes it just drops fps and goes a bit slower, but it's a minor annoyance
It doesn't like the deck switch off/on capabilities. If I pause powering the deck down, when I resume the game it cannot connect to online game. You need to exit the game every time and enter again.
For performance I just lock it at 40 fps and set graphic details all to medium. It achieves 40 fps but sometimes it drops a bit to 30~. Otherwise it works properly.
Just change the resolution as the default isn't the best one. I've also capped fps to 40 and changed graphic settings to high and it runs at 30-40 fps. Maybe change it to medium if you want it to cap at 40.
Multiplayer plays great out of the box
It works and it's a good experience. Multiplayer works.
You need to set it to borderless window
Set window mode to borderless. Resolution to 800p. For the rest search on YouTube for best settings as there are a lot of videos on this subject, but it works on high at 30fps. Online plays great.
In the research window some texts are cut as the window is too small, but it's secondary. Everything else is readable.
Everything runs fine. The only thing is the first time it starts, double check the default resolution. To me it was set to 640 but I set it to 800 and everything runs fine.
I've played until missions of level 6 and it's pretty playable. It's not the prettiestwhen there're a lot of things going on, but it's my main console to play and I'm having fun.

Changed right trackpad to mouse (for menus). Set L4 to shield; R4 to roll; L5 to the spell to show things; R5 to heal potions;
I don't know why when the Deck reaches <30% battery it stutters like crazy. It's not a problem if you play always connected.
Set everything to medium and activate FSR2. It plays great.
Everything in this game works out of the box for me. No tinkering needed for this one. You just install and play.
If you just want to, you can change the schematics for a community one. The default ones aren't the most comfortable thing ever... but the full game is around 4 hours. So this is completely optional.
Game plays great. Just install and it runs at 40 fps with everything at almost ultra.
EA login screen prompts and it's not compatible with controllers. It is with touchscreen though.
Online game does not support the Deck's switch off/on capabilities. If you play offline though it works great.
Text is small and hard to read, but it's mostly readable.
It crashed a couple of times in around 40 hours.
It doesn't connect with a regular wifi / ethernet connection. A workaround is to set your phone as a hotspot for your deck. You need to increase the deck swap file size to 10-14GB so it doesn't crash on tp or when logging in into cities with lot sof players.
Playable if you take into account the mentioned details. A pain in the ass, but playable.
Game works great. Just set it to 40 fps and sometimes it gets a little bit stuck but it's playable and a good experience.
Just remember to change the default resolution to the one which fits better the deck. Aside from that just install and play
I don't think it's because of the Steam Deck. It's the game's fault.
Slowness problems when there's a lot of pals in the base
When it starts to go slow just restart the game and it works great again (memory allocation problems?)
Reload - L4 Dodge - R4
Game works well with gyro
Just install and play. It works that way.
For reference I locked it at 40 fps at the settings the game recommends, which I think is medium.
Then I've just enabled gyro and backgrip buttons.
I haven't tried online.
Good. I've had problems with lag but this is due to my network and not because of the Steam Deck.
Just install and play - type of game
Removed right pad as mouse. It's annoying.
Set graphics to medium-high and fps limit to 40. It plays great but the quick shutdown doesn't work. You need to exit and reenter the game or the online features won't work on quick resume.
To improve performance lower the resolution from the 1080p default to 800p.
There's a launch check, when you press play, which opens a window with some kind of warning. Just press "okay" with the touchscreen and the game opens normally.
There's a message when you open the game which complains against a corrupted save file. This seems some kind of issue with steam cloud save game. I just disabled cloud save inside game options and don't use that "corrupted save" slot. No problems doing that.
The game runs great. You only need to know about the corrupted game save file and the issues with Steam's cloud saves.
Text is sometimes too small although readable
Playable and enjoyable with trackpads out of the box. Customize the controls to your likening
Unplayable for me. Stutters like crazy, even outside of battles, to the point it freezes the window and I've to restart the game.
Text difficult to read
It stutters like crazy every couple of minutes, sometimes it even freezes. I had to restart it like 6 times in an hour and a half
Had to restart it a couple of times.
I've refunded it. I tried all things I've seen here and none worked.
There's an option in the menus to make it bigger
Sometimes the game blocks in menus or it doesn't let you create new characters or start a new mission. Just restart the game and it works again.
40 fps with medium textures. It's playable, although it doesn't look its best.
