It uses the my.com application to launch the game. Complained that the needed rights are not available to install crucial components. Tried to launch the game from their launcher and just got stuck there.
Runs great but the only issue is that the game does not take input after an alt + tab. Running it in windowed mode has no issues but I prefer full screen.
alt + tab is an issue as I am not able to return to the game after alt +tab. I just get a black screen
I installed it and played, Performance was excellent and having a great time playing the game. It just works.
Loads up and able to join Multiplayer. Performance is great but get kicked by punkbuster
Steam shows running then stops
The game does not start for me. I have tried several Proton versions but it only shows running in Steam for a few seconds and then it stops.
problem with vanilla Proton when setting resolution to highest. Using GE-5.21-1 no issues

Screen flickers a bit then goes in to the game. Could be because more than 1 monitor is used on my PC
Choose "Launch Config" and then set windowed mode as the game does not launch properly using Full Screen. I was able to run high graphics
Need to use windowed mode as full screen does not display the game, only a small weird window
Used Proton 8.0-4 and windowed mode. no issues other than not being able to use full screen mode
Runs out of the box
No tinkering, managed to just launch the game, do the tutorial and play online without issues.

I have tried all the recommended steps in other reports, all available Proton versions but it just won't launch

A pitty as I would have loved to try this game but it does not launch with Proton default, Glorious Egroll nor Proton Experimental, any version.

The game runs fine, some performance issues a bit later on my hardware. MP servers that are cheat protected are not joinable because of EAC

Newest update: It just works now as expected without choosing a specific Proton version.
The framerate on the Native client was half of the frame rate of the proton installation. The game also looks way better in the proton version. Native is currently very badly optimised and the Linux client is stuck on version 0.7.6c where the windows client is at 0.7.7e.
There's apparently som issue with a piec of software the devs use that is incompatible with the newer game engine and Linux.
For now use proton as the native client is a bit of a mess
No issues at all. It took a while the first time I started the game to get in to the game but after that it launches and plays without any issues.
Does not start
I tried all Proton versions as well as Glorious Eggroll and the game just won't start.

Unfortunately I could not get the game to launch on my system
I received a vulkan is not installed or corrupt error at launch. After clicking on ok the game tries to start and crashes. I set the game to use Proton 4.11-6 and the error disappeared and the game launces.
Other than the above it runs great and no issues found. I have not tried multiplayer as yet though
The game started without any problems and I was able to play single player. Game runs brilliantly
Works out of the box
Played single player and co-op with a friend on Windows without any issues. Only thing not working are trying to browse for mods
Ran great out of the box. Only had to set resolution and full screen. Needed to restart the game for the settings to apply.
Unable to launch
Have tried all proton and GE versions but the game won't launch for me
After my initial report I uninstalled the game and a few days later tried again and installed it. The game plays fine now.
Loads a white screen or a blue screen and loops sound
tried the xml file, tried GE-Proton versions, tried Proton Experimental and older Proton versions

It just installed and played. Unfortunately I can't change and save graphics options.
Unable to save any graphics settings as an error pops up thus unable to change the game to use full screen. The game did start in full bordered window which works great though
I switched to Proton-6.4-GE-1 as it does feel a bit smoother but vanilla proton 5.0-10 works too. Vanilla Proton does prompt to wait or exit the application each time you run the game and GE does not. XBox 360 wireless controller works great out of the box, yet to test steering wheel and custom button box
Tried with different proton version but the game does not start at all. Disabled Esync, Disabled D3d11 and tried Use Wine D3d11 with no luck
The game loaded for a few minutes displaying a blank screen. It then displayed a prompt to skip using the ESC key. After that it loaded the intro and the game ran quite well. I had to drop to medium graphics quality though for a better frame rate.
It starts fine with bad flickering. I managed to resolve the flickering by changing display to Full Screen from Full Screen (bordered). Problem is when you restart the game you need to change this again.
After the above all seems to work great, start a race which runs smoothly but about 20 seconds in the game freezes my whole system. I tried different game modes and the same happens unfortunately

The game crashes when pressing a key on the keyboard. I tried the resolution (Use Launch Option "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 "/path_to_your_library/War Thunder/win32/aces.exe" %command% -NoLauncher" ) but did not work for me. Also tried other proton versions but it keeps crashing when pressing a key on the keyboard.
