Играется отлично, размер интерфейса можно увеличить при желании.

Runs fine under Proton.
Running the Game on the steam deck is great, as the game natively supports controller input.
Plays flawlessly so far!
I have played Torchlight III from start to finish on GeForce Now at Normal and now replaying at Hard on Linux. I am now at the second town and I have yet to see any issues. It looks like everything works just fine out of the box using latest Proton version.
30FPS Cap. Makes the Steam Deck a lot more quiet too.
Input latency does become noticeable.
The game is fun but it is missing most if not all basic multiplayer functions. You can't do or share the same quest and nor can you trade at all. Luckily the loot is independent so your buddy can't just spam the pick up button to take it all away from you.
Making it work on Linux
Unfortunately Steam is unable to play Torchlight III directly on Linux, so you have to rely on other methods. Lutris is the easiest option to get this working:
Download and try to run with Steam so it creates the Wine prefix and installs the needed prereqs. Go into Lutris and create a new game with Wine and the runner. The executable is here: path/to/Torchlight III/Frontiers/Binaries/Win64/Frontiers-Win64-Shipping.exe The wine prefix is here: path/to/steamapps/compatdata/1030210/pfx On the runner options, choose custom and run the Proton provided Wine here: path/to/steamapps/common/Proton - Experimental/files/bin/wine
Everything else stays defaults and Lutris runs the game without any issues. A solid 2 hour game session without hiccups this way.
Unable to run
Tried all Proton versions from 5.0 to Experimental but was unable to launch the game. No errors in logs, just either stuck at 'running' with no window launched or outright failing.
Works out of the box
Performance seems to degrade over time when playing for a stretch, leading to lower fps and overall performance.
Game launches and works flawlessly for the most part. I've had occasional screen tearing, obviously fixed with v-sync but then, as v-sync often does, mouse movement becomes sluggish if enabled. Otherwise, game works perfectly fine.
Works out of the box.
Works OOB with Proton 5.0-10
Flawless.
it starts crackling when there are a lot of monsters on screen
on my first run it didn't detect my xbox one controller. I started switching back and forth the proton version and executing the game until my controller was detected, but I had no more problems since then.
Works flawlessly out of the box with no issues at all
Performance aside, seems to run perfectly
Performance doesn't match up with my Windows install. I was getting 35-50 fps at 3440x1440 instead of 80+
I can also confirm, after Proton update 5.13-1 the game works fine again.
Some minor stuttering when loading new portions of the map. Only multiplayer tested. Online experience is good.
Minor stuttering when loading new portions of the current map, nothing serious but it's annoying sometimes
Now works with new Proton 5.13. Hopefully it keeps on working because the devs said proton support was not broken intentionally but since Linux is not officially supported, if something breaks, it's going to take them some time to troubleshoot it.
Now works flawlessly thanks to the new Proton update !
Finally the game works again thanks to the new proton update. It doesn't give platform error anymore, I suppose because they updated proton according the use of sdk and the game.
Enjoy!
opens but it starts pops up with message
No platform Available unable to log into the platform. Please make sure that you are running though the correct launcher.
No platform available
Game installs and runs but going into the game, there's a prompt telling "No platform available". Since the developers opted to host multiplayer characters into their own server, Proton version may not work ever. Single player characters should be available since they are stored locally but game is borked anyway.
Add the file path /Torchlight III/Frontiers/Binaries/Win64/Frontiers-Win64-Shipping.exe when adding the game on steam
Stopped loading to character select screen a few months ago. Now it DFW. Wasted space on hard drive atm
Fails with "TL_Player: Error: Online subsystem is not correct. Expected: 'Steam' Actual: 'NULL'" in the terminal I use to launch Steam.

The game was working flawlessly before... I don't know what happened but now it's impossible to play due this error. I've tried all proton versions including Glorious Eggroll's one. Nothing worked. You just get this error on main screen and the game exits.
The game openes, but it can't connect to the service."No Platform available. Please make sure you run with the correct launcher."
Tried different proton launchers, from GE MF and GE ST, nothing works.
The game just closes again after that notice. /broken
Does not work with Proton, does work with wine Steam
A recent update broke Proton so now the game is only playable if you install steam with wine and run it that way.
"No Platform available" error - immediate shutdown
worked fine previously

Could not get into the main menu.

proton 5.0-9
Error "Platform not available".
It seems like it can make no internet connection. Tried a lot of different fixes but nothing worked.
