Niveau de graphisme au max. Désactiver le flou de mouvement et aberration chromatique
Je pense que le jeu n'est pas véloce par défaut, mais il fonctionne bien.

I Disabled chromatic aberration and Motion Blur. I have no lags or Performance Issues.
Medium settings on an old computer. Bit of a stutter when zooming into stations, but flawless otherwise.

I can't easily switch back to the game with ALT-TAB.
Steamworkshop works without issues for me.

According to mangohud I get about a 12 FPS drop for a split second when zooming into the boat. It's hardly noticeable.

My OS is Fedora Kinonite. I'm using the default settings for the game. I played through all the tutorial missions and started the first real mission; about 2 hours of playtime. I'm writing this report while my boat is sailing in the background. Interesting note about those zoom-in frame drops...it's always about 12 FPS, regardless if I'm vsync'd to 60 or 75.

This can't be qualified as "Gold" or even playable, I have no idea why people say it's fine it's terrible.
Severe performance problems when zooming into the ship's side.
Really bad stutters, like something is wrong.

Changing a few things for personal comfort
Changed Max FPS to 30 & 40
Launcher clips out of frame when launching the game below 1280x800 resolution.
Game often has trouble to stay in 30+ FPS
The game is playable, played on low had around 23-30 fps

It is playable. But performance not good.
bad Performance when you switching camera view inside/outside boat. unstable frame rate 20-60.
Proton experimental

Some Stuttering But Enjoyable Overall
Encountered stutters and very low FPS when entering the section view of my UBOAT. FPS dropped by about a 1/4th of what I am used to on Windows.

PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1
Mouse inaccuracy in main menu. Using "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1" launch option resolves the issue.
-Low performance and minor stuttering in port. 50-80 FPS in port compared to 150-200 at sea. -Entering and exiting section view causes hitching and FPS drops while zooming in/out.
Into video when starting a new save does not play correctly but can be skipped. Following in-game cinematics work correctly.
Absolutely playable with my hardware. Results may vary depending on your system.

slows down on periscope viewing
Overall the game runs reasonably well apart from the periscope view.

Runs great without any tweaks, including with a significant number of mods.
Occasional audio crackling, nothing disruptive over an hours-long session.

Despite my pretty powerful hardware, the game just doesn't perform well enough for me to enjoy playing it.
I have one of the most powerful GPUs on the consumer market right now, and a fairly decent setup overall, but the game just performs terribly for me. Even when turning the settings to medium-ish and setting the FSR2 preset to "balanced", I can't get a consistent 60fps. This is unfortunately unacceptable to me, and I have decided to stop playing for now.
For the record, I asked someone with a Windows systems and fairly similar specs to check out the performance, and they seemed to have no issues whatsoever. I will probably come back to this one later down the line to see if things have improved.

Game Menu launches, Loading Screen stalls after Character Creation
Menu runs normally, but after Entering the player name and clicking next, it stays in the loading screen infinitely. At the beginning, the spinner still spins but after around a minute, it stops. Proton Logs yield no apparent insight and also just stop with the spinner.

gamemoderun %command%
Works perfectly fine. Might be slightly choppy in the first few minutes but it will even out.

Game runs worse than expected, not sure if caused by proton. Setting Amd FSR to performance made it better.

Unable to launch
Unable to start the game, tried all Proton versions from experimental down to 7.0-6. Did not even get to the launcher. Tried multiple different launchoptions, e.g. gamemode, nolauncher etc. - with no luck.
Game refunded for now

I tried it before, but had hudge framerate drops that rendered it unplayable, even on menu level. Now it works okay, I woudn't say better than on windows but it's close. Had ocasional fps drops and a few crashes but overall nothing troubling.

Gameplay was extremely slow and choppy. I'm assuming my laptop isn't powerful enough to run this game.

Launched game from desktop, seems to run better than from inside the "Big Picture" launcher. I stepped gfx down to "Good" from whatever the custom level was, and the game is running with better stability and fewer framedrops.

-nolauncher
-nolauncher option did not work
full kernel hang when launching vessel to sea. Some framedrops while in port
full kernel hang when going to sea... continuing tests
run without tinkering, game did not function when launching sub to sea. gfx engine, port functions did work. some framedrops due to hardware limitations

Have not had any problems plaing the Normal Early-Acces game. works purfect on Zorin!
Just recently started testing the Unstable - Beta version. Do not expect any issues beyond "beta"-issues.
No problems at all. Works perfectly out of the box.
Since the new beta release, a few in-game videos are replaced with a "TV test pattern", though it's not game-breaking.

The vidoe cutsceens don't play properly but can be skipped. Occasinal flickering of the interior lighting while in first person.
When I first tried the game six months ago the prefromance was awful. Now it runs completly fine.

This used to work reasonably well on my nvidia card, since switching to amd it is unplayable.
as soon as I enter the map it drops to 15 fps and frametime goes through the roof. The game then runs like this until restarting. It also causes significant problems with my desktop and other apps.

Works perfectly
Simply nothing to complain about!
Game is not optimized good, other then that perfect ootb

PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
Fewer fps, still very playable WITH the launch options
Doesn't launch from steam. The launcher runs through wine but the game doesn't

No issues in game aside from the video playback
Video cutscenes extremely choppy, basically unplayable - but could skip. Gameplay is perfect.

whatever the devs have done to it in the past year has tanked performance into the ground. Even disabling esync doesnt help anymore.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
extremely sluggish
crashes once in the ~30 minutes I was testing it

Only running on AMD Gpu so far.
Nvidia runs on older releases so you have to go back and can't play the newest big release.

PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
~20 FPS less than on Windows.
Breaks if not using NVIDIA Driver Version 470, Proton 7.0-6. If Driver Version is changed, loads to campaign menu and allows you to select "New Game", but freezes during loading. If a new game is started using NVIDIA 470 and Proton 7.0-6, the game works with slight performance reductions compared to Windows.
If the driver version is changed after starting a new campaign using the configuration outlined above, the game proceeds to load, but freezes upon zooming in to the submarine after loading (The sub is visible, game freezes).
Other configurations seem to result in one of the two game-breaking issues.

gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Crashes when approching port in fast travel

Some assets appear to be missing and give a color bar screen. Doesn't affect functionality.
Graphical stuttering at times, mildly uncomfortable, but still playable.
I'm running in hybrid graphics mode and using a DisplayLink dock, so I can't say yet if the graphical issues would persist outside of these settings. The game is playable even still.

Stuck at "LAUNCHING"
Tried older proton versions as well with no effect
gamemoderun %command%
Trying to Alt-Tab would crash the game.
Some cinematic won't play on standard Proton, you must play using Proton-GE, but after changing Proton version you can play without a problem in the world, as long that you don't try to Alt-Tab.
