Runs great for the most part, just a few spots it tends to stutter and slow down
Larger maps with quickly moving objects tend to drop framerates significantly.
There is A TON of shaders for DXVK to render, I highly recommend using some pre-rendered shaders in the meantime: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/t5xrho/dxvk_state_cache_for_fixing_stutter_in_apex/

Great out of the box with a few rough spots
Played great for the most part, but a few parts including smoke and/or portals caused SEVERE framerate issues, from 200+ fps down to about 6 fps
Game was unfortunately unplayable on my rig, may be time to upgrade the gamer chair.
Common artifacts, especially when going through water or navigating through any menus
Keyboard inputs were buggy, especially in menus
It runs smoothly, but has heavy artifacts making things disappear, keyboard navigation and mouse navigation both buggy.
-force-vulkan
I had some major visual artifacts due to some z-indexing issues, causing items to disappear. Forcing Vulkan fixed it and it now runs great
Pretty good experience out of box
Initially slow for rendering shaders. Have not played multiplayer, and when I do will be hosting my own non-EAC.
Plays wonderfully out of the box, minimal issues
Some textures disappearing and reappearing depending on the angle they're viewed at.
Text is tiny on higher resolutions
PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" %command%
High input latency
Extreme input latency, much lower framerate
If input latency isn't an issue for you, it seems to work fine
Framerate is good, though sometimes slows to render an effect
Experience some stutters where it has to render effects, but it a fairly smooth and playable experience
EAC Prevents the game from starting, even with -NoEAC attribute. Could not install glibc-eac, unable to play.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command% -NoEAC
Runs amazing on experimental, fewer frames on bleeding-edge and hotfix
Crashes often before or after a game, runs excellent during a game.
When in a game, it runs wonderfully, but crashed often on loading screens before or after a game. Proton Hotfix currently most stable for me, though Proton Experimental is providing the best framerate. Does not run with Gamescope currently. Ecstatic to see it working and look forward to the experience improving with time!
gamemoderun %command% -dx12
Mildly reduced framerate, drops heavily while Dr Strange portals are visible
Crashes frequently without use of the -dx12 launch property - Been stable since adding the property
fps_limit=60
After my first time playing, I could not start the game back up. Verifying game integrity returned corrupted files every time, but could not fix it. Full uninstall/reinstall worked.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 STAGING_SHARED_MEMORY=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1 gamemoderun %command%
Severe memory leak. Within 5 minutes in practice range was up to 10.5 GB memory usage. Crashes after about 10 minutes.
The connectivity is likely unrelated to Linux
EAC kicks you from server in latest update
Worked perfect out of the box
Loaded saves out of order, could be a game but non-specific to Linux though
After maps and characters are rendered, it runs well.
Very slow and jittery caching of shaders, but runs smooth enough after you get past that.
Origin does not start with the game sometimes. I'm also unable to launch the game now that Origin has an update and is silently failing to update.
Cannot start up due to EasyAntiCheat
Steam installs it, but the EasyAntiCheat loads another modal every time the loading bar finishes, never actually opening the game.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Mild input lag
Mild latency in input and network. Still playable.
Mild network lag - to be expected with smaller multiplayer titles
Very playable and what issues you may experience are more likely attributed to its beta status and less to do with being played on Linux.
Amazing out of box experience once past the first cinematic
First cinematic had extreme slowness and stuttering. Once past that, the experience is flawless.
Works well, may have to tune graphical settings
In-Game voice chat does not work on Linux
On both my computer and my wife's Pop_OS rig, mouse input on menus is in the ballpark of 30 pixels lower than where the cursor displays
Since it's reliant on rendering shaders, the potential for portals to create undrendered frames appears to cause serious FPS drops. Used to play on GTX970 and had to lower portal quality and framerate to their lowest settings for playability
Online Matchmaking works great out of the box
Rendering those portals is the kicker, if you run into FPS issues, I recommend lowering portal graphic qualities first
Worked perfect out of box - mods from Steam Workshop work as well!
Note that there are some performance bugs that also plague the Windows version.
Worked perfect out of the box. Multiplayer requires opening a port.
If you are hosting Terraria multiplayer from Linux and have a firewall, you likely need to manually open TCP port 7777 in order for other players to access your session.
Worked perfect out of the box
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command%
Water textures tend to have artifacts, prolonged exposure has crashed my game a few times
Cannot confirm this is Linux-specific, but does stutter
Runs fairly well, occasional frame drops, be mindful of your graphical settings. LET YOUR SHADERS BUILD FIRST
Occasional drops in fps

Have tried several runners and command prefixes. The irony is that it used to start on launch day when everyone else was running into troubles, now I can't get it to run.

When servers are not being DDOS'd, it runs incredibly well. Latest updates appear to be addressing those attacks.
Only works if you're using Wallpaper Engine for KDE - not currently available for other DE's
